Abstract

Vehicle technicians in checking the condition of the car's engine mounting do it manually, namely, through sight and hearing. This kind of manual method often makes an error in diagnosing engine mounting damage, because each individual has a different level of hearing and vision sensitivity. This research aims to make it easier for technicians to check the feasibility level of engine mounting with accurate data. This tool is based on IoT technology, where the reading of graphs from sensors in analyzing engine mounting damage using a website display and a 20 x 4 LCD. For its data storage with MySQL Database. In its working principle, it uses the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm method, in order to distinguish between engine mounting that is still good and damaged. Graph readings based on normal and abnormal range data from the data retrieval of the engine mounting of the new unit car. The vibration sensor used is the ADXL345 and also several other sensors such as the temperature sensor (MLX90614) and the sound sensor (KY-037). It uses the Arduino UNO R3 microcontroller and the Esp8266 NodeMCU as a data sender to the server. Tests were carried out on cars in idling conditions of 1000-1300 rpm. From the results of the study produced standard feasibility for vibrations from 3 axes (x = 1.60 ; y = 1.60 ; z = 1.90), temperature = 30 °C, Sound = 71 dB.

Abstract

Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) is a system used to control the quality of education implementation. The quality of education is used as the front line in the formation of competent Human Resources (HR), because if the quality of education is low, it will have an impact on the lack of Human Resources. The implementation of SPMI at Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo is carried out by the Quality Assurance Agency (BPM). BPM has an obligation to regulate the SPMI cycle from designing, compiling, and setting quality standards for universities. The BPM process for collecting data used for quality assurance is still quite manual and takes a long time. The system was developed to assist the website-based quality assurance process. Researchers use the data in BPM as material to create a website that is used to assist the guarantee process which will then be grouped into each study program and faculty. By using the help of the PHP programming language and MySQL database, and Internal Online Quality Assurance System was obtained. With this system, it is evident that the development of an Internal Online Quality Assurance System is very helpful in the quality assurance process in BPM.

Abstract

Dependence on flour needs to be reduced by utilizing local food ingredients that can enrich the active compounds in nastar cakes. The distinctive taste of yellow yam flour provides an innovative new taste of nastar with a combination of sweetness from chocolate jam. The comparison between yellow sweet potato flour and cornstarch in nastar cakes will provide a new taste and increase the nutritional content and as a natural coloring agent in the manufacture of pastries. The proportion of use of cornstarch in sweet potato nastars is used as a softener in pastries and cakes due to the nature of this cornstarch which can bind water to the dough so that the texture is softer and denser. This study aims to determine the sensory properties of nastar cookies with variations of yellow sweet potato flour and cornstarch with the addition of fat types so as to get the right formula. Organoleptic tests carried out included color, taste and taste. Test respondents used a sensory preference test (hedonic rating) with 30 panelists. By using the hedonic test and the results are expressed in numbers 1-5. 1 = strongly dislike, 2 = dislike, 3 = neutral, 4 = like, 5 = very much like. The hedonic test is the most widely used test to measure the level of liking for the product where the panelists express personal impressions about good or bad. conducting organoleptic tests, namely panelists, a laboratory consisting of a preparation room, waiting room and discussion room. The way to do the orgnoleptic test is that the presenter prepares the sample in the preparation room, for the panelists to be in the discussion room to taste the sample that has been prepared by the presenter. Panelists fill out the forum that has been prepared by the presenter in the discussion room. The foam consists of color, taste, and aroma tests using hedonic tests and the results are expressed in numbers 1-5.

Abstract

Basic programming is one of the most difficult learning subjects to learn because it requires skills in understanding the logic in a program, that's why teachers are required to use various alternative methods in learning about basic programming. One of the methods used is to use educational games. Based on these problems, the researcher intends to conduct research with the aim of making a basic programming educational game using Construct 2 application and the FSM (Finite State Machine) method, this game will be designed and created with the hope that this educational game that has been developed can provide convenience in learning basic programming subjects. The final result of this research is a prototype of an educational game entitled “Algo The Savior” which can be run with a web operating system.

Abstract

A laptop is a rather small personal computer consisting of a keyboard, screen, microprocessor and usually a rechargeable battery. In the current era of technology, when buying a laptop, we need to have thorough and detailed considerations regarding our needs in using a laptop, especially laptop RAM. By comparing Decision Tree and KNearest Neighbors algorithm, a more accurate algorithm was found to make a prediction in buying a laptop with suitable variable consideration. The result shows that Decision Tree algorithm is more accurate to be used in predicting the suitable laptop RAM. Decision Tree accuracy is 68%, this result is higher than KNN accuracy which is only 66%.

Abstract

The prolonged Work From Home (WFH) policy causes boredom, saturation and stress to arise so that it can interfere with one's psychology. Therefore, one has to do a lot of activities that aim to entertain oneself so as not to get bored and relieve excessive stress, one of which is by playing online games. Online game is a game that can be accessed by several players who are connected to one internet network. One of the most popular games among the public to entertain themselves is an adventure genre game. Adventure games are one of the most popular genres among the public because the gameplay of adventure games has its own charm and can be used as a learning medium. Indirectly an adventure genre game educates players/users with the aim of learning. Education can be defined as a learning process that aims at developing self-potential to realize a better learning process. In the learning process, one must increase interest in learning, one of which is by making learning methods more interesting and not boring. Then made a 2D adventure game called "Astronaut Go" based on mobile. It is hoped that with the making of the Astronaut Go game, it will help reduce boredom and stress a little and can also educate players/users who have difficulty learning in the field of the solar system.

Abstract

One of the reasons for the air pollution that occurs at this time is the emission of the motorcycle exhaust. According to some sources, the trembesi leaves can absorb the level of exhaust emissions. By making extracts from trembesi leaves and added to the exhaust part of the motorcycle. Because the exhaust part is the last place of discharge of combustion waste from the combustion process that occurs on motorcycles and the result is that when the motorcycle has not been added trembesi leaf extract can produce a level of emission of Nitrogen Oxide (Nox) exhaust gases of 0.21 ppm. While the results are different when already added trembesi leaf extract can produce a level of emission of Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) exhaust gases of 0.16 ppm So it can be concluded that trembesi leaf extract can absorb or reduce the level of emission of Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), and meet the requirements of nitrogen oxide (NOx) exhaust emission levels applied in Indonesia, which is 0.17 for speeds below 1300 rpm.

Abstract

Mojokerto has a very abundant local history. The Majapahit Kingdom was a Hindu-Buddhist kingdom that last ruled the archipelago and is considered the largest kingdom in Indonesian history. Mojokerto. Students also often conduct historical studies by learning directly to these historical places. Because it is considered that learning from books is less effective, starting from the pictures that are displayed only in black and white, taking pictures is less attractive so that it affects students in seeing the shape of the site building. With the condition of learning to use books that are less efficient in seeing the shape of the building. Thus, a web-based historical tourism information system is needed by providing 3-dimensional features. Where 3-dimensional images can be used by users to see images become more real than through the media of books. Based on the above background, the researchers are interested in creating an information system with the title "Application of Web-Based Majapahit Edutourism in Mojokerto Regency.

Abstract

This research is the existence of problems in the scope of the sales information system. The problem is in the form of inefficient and widespread in marketing the products of this women's clothing UMKM. This is because the owner of UMKM does not understand the current technology. So that the sales results are less able to compete with other UMKM in the society. The existence of this women's clothing sales application makes it easier to market products and expand customer reach. In this paper, the writer uses the waterfall development model which an approach to software development that determines the stages of making a website from software requirements analysis, design, program code making, testing and support or maintenance. The web-based women's clothing sales application can make it easier for UMKM owner Rafika Modes to sell products that have been produced and provide reports for what products are sold. The application is in the form of web, so the user is more flexible to open the application with any devices.

Abstract

Technological advances in various fields of technology encourage the emergence of various new innovations that have a very positive impact on the world of trade. With the number of internet users increasing day by day, it opens up opportunities for entrepreneurs to develop their business through mobile phones. Like cattle and goats which are in great demand by the public for religious purposes or for consumption, the demand for these animals increases as the Eid al-Adha holiday approaches. In 2019, beef consumption was 18,913,246 tons while goat meat was 8,608,121 tons. However, in buying and selling activities, cattle breeders still use simple information media so that they are not optimal. Therefore, to support the sales process, a web-based information system is needed. Customers will find it easier to access the information they need at any time regarding prices, conditions, and maintenance. This application is made using the waterfall method starting from analysis, design, coding, testing, to maintenance. With these problems, the authors examine the existing problems, namely "Digital Marketing Applications in Increasing Web-Based Livestock Sales in Kandang Qurban Ganggang Panjang Village, Sidoarjo. The results of this study are a web-based application with stock, search, ordering and product purchasing facilities.
