Abstract

The rapid development of technology nowadays makes people want to always be creative and triggers to create something that is needed to create a security system, because the difficulty of today's economy makes many people act criminally by robbery or theft. An alternative security system that is often used today is to use CCTV (Closed Circuit Television), but the limitations in conducting CCTV surveillance include that it still has to be monitored directly at the monitoring location. From the problems that occur, the authors developed a thesis that is capable of monitoring and monitoring by sending realtime alerts in the form of notifications to the user on an Android Smartphone device by building an IoT (Internet of Thing) based detection system using a PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor which entitled "Design of Detection System with Motion Sensor and Notification on Android Based on Arduino Microcontroller".

Abstract

PT. LMN is a company engaged in the manufacturing and outer production industry, the purpose of this research is to obtain a new layout design that can minimize the distance to move goods and the minimum total cost that can minimize the distance to move goods and the minimum total costs so as to reduce production costs, and obtain The new layout is better than the previous layout. Data processing begins by determining the initial sequence as a planning basis, then performing pairwise exchanges based on the initial sequence so as to produce several alternatives, do this stage until you get the smallest results. Lastly compares the new smallest order with the starting sequence. From the calculation, the results obtained are the proposed sequence (5 - 6 - 8 - 3 - 2 - 7 - 4 - 1 - 9) with a total value of 3450.5 meters. This proposal resulted in a total distance difference of 980.5 meters and a cost of IDR 11,736,8167 / per production. So that companies can reduce distance and also costs in each production process.

Abstract

At this time the fuel motor has a very important role in everyday life, especially in the field of transportation. The development of motorcycle technology is now on the matic system which has various shortcomings and adventages. This automatic motorbike also uses an air filter, air filter is one of the important components on a motorcycle that has a major effect on the performance of the engine that function as a filter for air impurities that will enter the combustion chamber. Because of the importance of the function of the air filter, it is necessary to do research with the aim of knowing the effect of the air filter on increasing the power and torque on a 110 cc automatic motorbike. Variant air filters are standar air filters, modified air filter, and testing without air filters. The test was carried out using a dynotest engine with different rpm from 2000 rpm – 4000 rpm, the test is carried out with the aim of knowing the increase in power and torque in each air filter being test. From the result of the study showed that the air filterless test produced an increase in power and the highest torque of 8.6 HP and 23.45 Nm of torque, when compared to standart air filters and modification filters. Altough the best improvement result are obtained from testing without air filters, the fuel motor must continue to use the air filter as a support to obtain optimum performance on motorized vehicles.

Abstract

Performance in a job is very important because it will have an impact on the assessment and productivity of an employee, one of the indicators for evaluating high performance is related to concentration, execution speed and high productivity of the employee. Concentration is needed in working to prevent fatal accidents. In this study, it is possible to monitor measurement results via a smartphone, namely by using the Bluetooth HC-05 sensor as an integration to a smartphone. With 8 pushbutton, Arduino UNO microncontroller, Bluetooth HC-05, 16x2 LCD, and Buzzer. This tool works alternately when the push button Start is pressed, the power from the power supply will provide an electric current to the microncontroller, and continue to be connected to the Bluetooth HC-05, then by providing pushbuttons pressing input. Each pressing instruction on the pushbutton provides a different sound output, consisting of sound output, High, Mid, and Low. And continue on the LCD, and can display the results of the input that has been processed by the microcontroller. The output results are in the form of the amount of time displayed on the LCD, the sound from the buzzer, and from a series of work tools and the output results can be monitored via android smartphone. The results of this study are the accuracy of the tool in each variable low 99%, mid 90%, high 92%. The average tool ranges from 2.44. The error is low 7,4%, mid 7,4%, high 7,6%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is centered on measuring the total and partial productivity of customs companies using the American Productivity Center (Apc) Method and the Craig-Harris Productivity Method where the difference between the two is the Craig-Harris Productivity Method directly measures the level of total efficiency obtained from company growth. overall while the American Productivity Center (Apc) method is a measurement to determine the level of the productivity index, profitability and price improvements. The results obtained from measurements in 2018 to 2019 for twenty-four periods are the productivity index of the APC model, the largest decrease in index occurred in capital input in April 2019, which decreased by 22.06%, while with the Craig-Harris Method the largest decrease in productivity figures occurred in power input. Employment in June 2019 decreased by 25.077% from the initial period. From the results of the two methods, there are differences in measurement results, namely the largest decrease in APC occurs in the Capital variable, while the largest decrease in the Craig-Harris Method occurs in Labor and the smallest decrease in productivity occurs in Material input.

Abstract

The introduction of a means of transportation to children can stimulate the brain to imagine and train creativity. With the development of information technology, means of introducing means of transportation can be done using devices such as computers, laptops or smartphones. The development of Augmented Reality technology on smartphones will make it easier for children to get to know several types of transportation that they often encounter. The purpose of writing this article is to create an application for Introduction to Transportation Tools using Augmented Reality technology for children. The method used in making this application of Introduction to Transportation Tools is observation and interviews. The production begins with collecting data on what types of transportation will be made as a model using the Blender software. Augmented Reality application design uses Unity software by designing markers made from the Vuforia platform. The features in this application are several types of transportation that are displayed in 3D with sound and information using Augmented Reality technology. The results of testing the Transportation Tool Introduction application can run on various Android mobile devices. It has been tested on several different smartphone brands and specifications - the results of the Transportation Tool Introduction can run smoothly except under Android version 4.3 (Jellybean). Based on the test results contained in the Application of Introduction to Transportation Tools using Augmented Reality, it is suitable for introducing more interesting and innovative types of transportation to early childhood. There are still many deficiencies that can be developed, for example, increasing the number of 3D objects in the transportation tool and making animations even better, so that the application is more interesting, interactive, and easy to understand.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to build land certification information system of Sidoarjo Regency Land Office. The information system is a form of development in making it easier for prospective applicants to make land easier and faster. To support the performance of employees of the Sidoarjo Regency Land Office and facilitate users in the manufacture of land certificates. In this research the method used is software development life cycle. The stage cycle contains requirement definition, system and software design, implementation and unit testing, intergration and system testing, operation and maintenance so that the implementation can be maximized. The result of this research has been built an information system based on Land Certification that greatly facilitates the performance of employees of the Sidoarjo Regency Land Office. Conclusion of research and discussion that Land Certification information system runs well and smoothly. With the land information system is expected to help the work of officers of the office of the national land agency, so that the efficiency and effectiveness of service performance can be improved and accelerate the service of officers to land-making transactions in Sidoarjo Regency. Respondents to the trial there were 3 people of Sidoarjo Regency and 7 officers of the Sidoarjo Regency Land Office. Data collection methods are carried out with interviews, literature studies and questionnaires. Based on the results of soil certification information system analysis, some aspects of PIECES analysis have obtained quite good results. One of them can be seen from the results of service category analysis, where the overall percentage of test questionnaires that have been shared, on average fall into the range of the category ''Very Easy". The percentage of eligibility obtains a percentage of 100%. Thus it can be concluded that the information system has good quality and is very feasible for the process of processing land certification data.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of blanching method and drying temperatures on organoleptik properties of mustard stalk flour. The study was conducted at the Development Product and Food Analysis Laboratory of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo University from March to May 2020 used basic descriptive method. The sample used was mustard greens stalk. Various blanching method used without blanching, water blanching, steam blanching, and microwave blanching. Various temperature used cabinet drying at 55°C and 65 oC. The result showed there was different characteristic organoleptik of mustard stalk flour between blanching method and drying temperature. The best treatment was mustard stalk flour that used steam blanching and drying temperature 55 oC that show hedonic test of colour 3,47, texture 3,10, and aroma 2,43.

Abstract

Consumers need to be conscious of electrical energy usage every day, in accordance with the need for power consumption. Then a kWHmeter is needed that will provide this data so that people can handle it. This study developed a kWHmeter that can show Smartphone voltage, current, fuel, overall usage and projected electricity costs and can submit alerts when electricity use is near to a preset limit using the SDM230 Modbus, Arduino Uno, NodeMCU ESP8266, GSM module, MySQL database. In this research, with a precision of 98.704% for voltage, 39.88% for current, 53.333% for energy usage, and 26.14% for power energy, test results of the instrument can be operated very effectively. The method will also submit SMS alerts with an average speed of 0.6 seconds for this analysis and the android program is made to show data on the 100% accuracy of energy usage and 99.508% accuracy of cost estimates.
