Abstract

The use of welding in industry today is very broad, including shipping, machinery, construction and others. The aim of this research was to study the welding results of two types of metal with different melting points, namely low carbon steel ST37 with brass filler and borax added during the welding process using OAW (Oxygent Acetyline Welding) welding. The specimen size is 170 mm long, 50 mm wide and 8 mm thick. As for the test method with the addition of borax, then look at the results of the number of porosity, weld defects and differences in tensile strength in each specimen by conducting penetrant liquid testing and tensile testing with ASTM E-8 standards. The results of the penetrant liquid test showed that welding ST 37 steel using borax as an additional material produced welding with the smallest porosity and even no defects at all compared to specimens without using borax. The results of the tensile test show that the addition of borax has a tensile strength value of 2000 kgf / mm². This value is greater than without the addition of borax.

Abstract

There is not much plastic welding currently done and not much research has been done on plastic welding. The purpose of this study was to study the use of welding variations used to join the thermoset polymer material. The thermoset polymer materials used are acrylic, melamine and bakelit with the test sample measuring 80mm in length, 30mm in width and 3mm in thickness. Variations in welding are used using hot gas welding, electric soldering and gas torches. The test method is carried out after welding to determine the porosity of the weld using a penetrant liquid. Hardness testing was also carried out. The best welding results are shown on acrylic material using electric solder, showing that the amount of porosity is the least, and has the highest hardness test.

Abstract

A grocery store is a small shop that is easily accessible to the public and is located on a busy street, gas station, train station or in a densely populated urban or residential area. Most of these types of shops are traditional in nature, where buyers cannot freely pick up their own goods, usually there is a dividing screen in the form of a window or shelf. If you pay attention, actually the goods sold in grocery stores are almost similar to those sold in supermarkets such as Alfamart or Indomart, it's just that the minimarkets are modern. People often refer to this shop as a grocery store. Among the many minimarkets and modern shops in Sidoarjo, it turns out that there is a grocery store whose building is still standing up to this day, namely An Nur Shop. This shop is located in Jambangan Candi Sumokali, Sumokali, Jambangan, Kec. Candi, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java 61271, Toko An Nur is a grocery store that was founded in 1990. An Nur shop has very many customers so that the stock of merchandise is often short, this makes An Nur shop troublesome in bringing in merchandise, so it requires sales of goods to arrive the merchandise sold. Based on the problems faced, through this research activity, the E-KELONTONG application is proposed. Through the E-KELONTONG application, it will be easier for An Nur Stores to bring in products through sales with the E-KELONTONG application. The creation of this E-KELONTONG application uses a way of collecting data by retrieving data directly from an An nur grocery store, interviewing the store owner. The software used to build this E-GROCERY application is using Android Studio 3.5 and Xampp server.

Abstract

Plastic welding technique is a technique of gluing to workpieces, especially plastic materials. The aim of this research was to join the thermoplastic polymer material using an acetylene oxy welding. The connection method is by melting the electrodes on the workpiece so that the electrodes can fuse to the parent material. The materials used are Polyethylene (PE), Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and Polypropylene (PP) plastic sheets with the appropriate electrodes from their respective parents. After going through the welding process, the weld results are tested using a dye penetrant. The best results from the dye penetrant are then tested for hardness

Abstract

The author realizes that in this era, information systems are increasingly developing, there are so many system developers who can develop great and useful applications. But not many of these developers care about data security issues or information systems. The more an application that is running and is also being developed will have an impact along with the increasing number of cybercrime or hacktivists attacking the application or a server. The actors not only carried out attacks and then ignored the servers, many of them left a backdoor, to facilitate future actions. Many of the information system developers do not understand what a backdoor is and what a backdoor looks like, because many of the backdoor is developed with complicated techniques or with common syntax that the developer considers reasonable. Here the author developed a backdoor scanner application that can run on any OS, Windows or Unix with the same results, and can run in CLI (Command Line Interface) or in Web mode. Testing of the backdoor scanner application has been carried out by various elements ranging from government, private sector and the Open Source community who can still detect all tested backdoors with 100% accuracy even though the results issued are still False Positive. The backdoor tested is a backdoor that has been developed and has been in circulation before or is called a well-know backdoor.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the corrosion penetration rate of low carbon steel with aluminium coating. The method used is the potentiodynamic method to determine the value of the corrosion rate. The corrosion medium used was HCl. The aluminium used is aluminium frame waste powder. The coating process is by dipping low carbon steel pipes into aluminium frame waste that had been liquefied in the Hot Dip Galvanizing (HDG) method of 700oC and immersion time of 45 seconds. The results of this study show that low carbon steel which has been coated with aluminum frame waste powder has a high corrosion rate which is proven to have a corrosion rate of 18,1808 mm/year. So that the corrosion rate is at an unacceptable level.

Abstract

In the survey that has been conducted, there are less than 3 books of less than 3 books out of 110 respondents aged 15-25 years. 74% of respondents get books from bookstores and libraries. A total of 30% are those who do not have money to buy books and 22% are incomplete collections of regional libraries. To help people who do not have the money to buy books or those books are not in the regional library, a platform is needed to bridge these problems, namely renting and renting books. From this solution, it is expected that the public's interest in reading will increase in percentage. The purpose of this research is expected to improve public literacy in Indonesia, especially students. The results of this research are that it can provide a platform for borrowing and borrowing books without spending money, renting books at low prices, and mutually beneficial book exchanges for both parties. The conclusion of this research is that users can get books from the features provided, such as rent, borrow, buy and exchange books.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the response of the vegetative growth of soybean (Glycine max) of Anjasmoro and Demas varieties to the application of Trichoderma sp. Compost. on salinity stress. This research was conducted in the dry land of the swamp of Jabon Village, Sidoarjo, from March to May 2020. The experiment was arranged factorial using a Randomized Block Design consisting of two factors, namely: the first factor was soybean varieties consisting of: varieties. Anjasmoro, and Demas 1 varieties, while the second factor was the application of Trichoderma compost consisting of: without Trichoderma and with Trichoderma. Of the 4 treatment combinations were repeated 5 times, in order to obtain 20 experimental units, each containing 40 plants. Data were analyzed by ANOVA followed by the 5% HSD test. The results showed that there was a significant interaction effect between the varieties and the application of Trichoderma sp. on the growth rate of sprouts and the number of leaves grown on land with an average salinity of 4 dS.cm-1 at 35 days after planting. Anjasmoro variety shows tolerance on saline soil, while Demas 1 variants are intolerant to saline soil. Anjasmoro varieties treated with Trichoderma sp. compost were able to show a sprout growth rate of up to 6.10 cm per day and accelerate the appearance of flowers on high salinity soils. The combination of these two has the potential to be tested and developed into a wide production stage on high salinity swamps.
