Abstract

The purpose of this research is the development of project-based learning tools in teaching students scientific communication skills. The development of these learning devices includes syllabus, learning implementation plans (RPP), student activity sheets (MFIs), evaluation instruments for student communication skills, where these devices are developed using project-based learning models. Learning tools that have been created and that will be used in the learning process have valid and reliable judgments. The stages of developing this learning device are: (1) student scientific communication is carried out in the literature; (2) curriculum, teaching materials, indicators of scientific communication skills, learning characteristics used, characteristics and abilities of students; (3) conduct the preparation of learning evaluations; (4) carry out construct validation; (5) analyze the results of construct and content validation; (6) hold a trial certificate; (7) analysis of trial results. The analysis of the results of the validation of project-based learning tools in training valid and reliable student scientific communication skills.

Abstract

Digitalization is developing rapidly in the community, but not all levels of society can use technology properly including students. So that it needs an active role of universities in directing students to be more effective in using technology as a learning support facility. The purpose of the study was to determine the extent to which the use of e-learning in the Economic Education Study Program of STKIP PGRI Lumajang can spur student academic activities on an ongoing basis so as to improve the quality of learning. This type of research uses a qualitative phenomenological approach. The research method uses in-depth interviews, observations and questionnaires. Found the results of the first study, most of the students of Economic Education Study Program were able to use e-learning well. Second, the intensity of e-learning media usage is not routinely fully used by students because not all subjects are given through e-learning media. Finally, the use of e-learning media provides an attraction to encourage students to be more active, more effective in understanding the material, more efficient in terms of time and cost. The main problem that arises is the unstable internet network connectivity because most student residences are in locations that are difficult to reach with a strong internet network so they have to struggle more to be able to access e-learning.

Abstract

This research is a type of classroom action research using a collaborative model with 4 steps in each action. The object of action is the application of an active self-directed audio media learning model is VCD. The action has been done in 2 cycles with the research subject class XI-1 SMA Negeri 4 Kediri. The formulation of the problem includes: 1) How are the steps of the teacher in applying the concept of active self-learning in audio visual media. 2) How are the steps of the teacher in increasing student involvement in teaching and learning activities. 3) Whether the application of the concept of active self-learning with audio visual media can increase students mastery of the concept of “fiscal and monetary policy”. The conclusion is: 1) From the teacher’s point of view, steps have been found to apply the concept of active self-learning with audio visual/VCD media to improve the mastery of the concepts of “fiscal and monetary policy”. 2) From the teacher’s point of view, steps have been found to apply the concept of active self-learning with audio visual/VCD media to increase student involvement in teaching and learning activities. 3) From the student’s point of view, it has been successfully proven that the application of the concept of of active self-learning with audio visual/VCD media to improve the mastery of the concepts of “fiscal and monetary policy”.

Abstract

The 4.0 industrial revolution marked by innovation in information technology "internet of things" has a broad impact on the economy throughout the world including Indonesia. The role of higher education can be done through the implementation of entrepreneurship education by utilizing digital technology, because higher education is an agent of change that prepares students to be superior, tough, and competent in plunging into society. The purpose of writing this article provides an overview of entrepreneurship education held in universities to provide students with the provision of entrepreneurship to be ready to face the world of work by utilizing digital technology. The method used in writing this article is descriptif by using library studies so as to produce exposure in the form of theoretical ideas about the importance of entrepreneurship education to students by utilizing digital technology. The results of this study are expected to be able to equip character building entrepreneur 4.0 students, namely smart, trustworthy and creative including efforts to improve 5C aspects (creative, cognitive, collaborative, competence, cohesiveness) and able to create a generation of digitalpreneur.

Abstract

Local culture in certain regions has a big role in shaping the characteristics and characteristics of the members of the community. Likewise in terms of mathematical literacy, the cultural elements of the local community often contain mathematical concepts within it which are able to play a role in the effort to develop mathematical literacy abilities. In the context of classroom learning, local culture can be used as content in teaching mathematics so that it becomes easier to grow students' mathematical literacy skills. This paper examines how the role of local culture in mathematical literacy in elementary school students in the Cirebon region by studying the cultural content and local wisdom that exist in Cirebon society and linking it with students' mathematical literacy.

Abstract

Cognitive function varies in each human being, from simple to complex, requiring attention, concentration, and coordination. Cognitive is related to a person's ability to think, solve problems, organize and also to communicate and interact with others and the environment. Methods: cross-sectional research, samples involve the students of medical faculty of Unissula-Semarang with GPA less than 3 and more than 3 graduated in 2018, instrument Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE). Descriptive analysis and Chi-square test. Results and Discussion: samples are 56 students, the highest gender is men (51%), the range of age 18-21 years old (53.6%), the number of GPA is the same as the one below and above 3 there are 28 (50%). Test Chi Square gender difference with P value of 0.422 GPA gender does not have significant difference to the GPA, based on the age of the results of T-test p-value 0.000, showed age had significant difference to the GPA, where the age is getting younger GPA is getting better, based on the scores of MMSE test, it was obtained p 1.000, MMSE score has no significant difference with the GPA. Conclusion: Gender and MMSE value have no difference with GPA, there is difference between age and GPA, the younger the students the better GPA the students achieve.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the differences between students' science process skill in real laboratory and virtual laboratory at SMP Negeri 1 Candi, Sidoarjo. This study was quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design that was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Candi. The population of this study was 321 students. The sample was selected by purposive sampling considering the equality of ability in the practicum. The Data was collected by using pre-test and post-test. The result revealed that the Fvalue 3,34 < Ftable 3,98 and significant value 0,07 > 0,05, which means there is no difference between student' science process skills in real laboratory and virtual laboratories in SMP Negeri 1 Candi.

Abstract

Attending education for developing the potential of domain students, affective and psychomotor. One of domains in achieving elementary school education is fundamental education to build the character of children while sitting in school. One of the values of character education is honest behavior. Honesty is a behavior that is shown to be in accordance with the real conditions without manipulating by lying. Methods of research using quantum learning methods, followed by quantitative methods with data collection techniques using open poll and supporting tools during the research voucher honesty. The study subject of elementary school students of Muhammadiyah 2 Kauman Surakarta class 4A with 30 students. The results of the study that there are positive behaviors from students in acting honestly without teacher observation in class. This is evidenced from the sale of vouchers, where the number of vouchers purchased and the amount of money received are appropriate.

Abstract

This research is a Classroom Action Research about the application of STAD cooperative learning (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) with a contextual approach to increase student activity and learning outcomes. The research was conducted in 3 cycles of action. each cycle consisting of one meeting for 3 learning hours. The research subjects were students of class X MIPA-1 odd semester of the 2016-2017 academic year MA Ihyaul Ulum Dukun Gresik. Student learning activities are measured based on an increase in the average percentage of student learning activities, while student learning outcomes are based on the difference in scores between the pretest and post in each cycle. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the application of STAD cooperative learning with a contextual approach can increase activities and learning outcomes. Increased student learning activities are indicated by an increase in the average percentage of student learning activities and the level of success of actions from 55% (less) in the first cycle and in the second cycle increased to 67% (sufficient), and increased again in the third cycle to 75% (good ) While the increase in student learning outcomes based on the average score difference between pre-test and post-test in the first cycle of 28.7 increased to 34.1 in the second cycle and increased again to 34.6 in the third cycle, while the completeness of student learning in the cycle I amounted to 42% then in second cycle it increased to 62%, and increased again to 73% in third cycle.

Abstract

Education has a very central role in building quality human resources in order to survive and live life in a global era full of competition, so we need a pattern of science learning that is oriented to the paradigm of technology-based learning. Science, Technology, Engineering, And Mathematics learning is one of learning that is able to develop the competencies of students to solve problems faced in everyday life through the use of technology. Since the role of teachers in education is very important, preservice teachers of primay school must have a deep knowledge of science. In other words, preservice teachers of primay school must have good scientific literacy. scientific literacy is one of the important aspects that must be mastered by preservice teachers of primay school, because it influences the learning process in elementary school. scientific literacy is very important to solve various problems related to ethics, morals and global issues due to rapid changes in the fields of science and technology.
