Abstract

Education has a very important role in everyone's life, especially in view of the increasing national development, because in national development it requires quality people in every aspect. The aim of this study is to further examine the impact of the cost of education on people with economic limitations in pursuing higher education. The method used is descriptive, with the result being a descriptive form. The data collection technique used a literature study technique. The results of the literature review state that the cost of higher education is very important to ensure the implementation of education. However, given the high public and private costs of higher education in Indonesia, economic constraints are also a barrier to students' willingness to pursue higher education. This results in the community being less able to make many impacts, so it impacts on awareness raising, street children and crime. Therefore, it needs government attention, one of which is to provide opportunities for people who do not have access to the world of education, so that both rich and poor can have equal rights in education. Of course, by providing equal education for all people, it will make a great contribution to the national development of nation and state.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of parents in educating mentally retarded children during the Covid-19 pandemic is and how they are interested in learning with mentally retarded children during the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design, this research lasts for several days. Data collection procedures in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that parents play an important role in the learning of children with special needs for mental retardation during the covid-19 pandemic. This is evidenced when children take online learning, parents prepare facilities that will be used by children during online learning and parents guide during learning. And the learning interest of children with special needs for mental retardation in learning is very high. very enthusiastic in doing the assignments given by the teacher.

Abstract

The problem in this study is what parenting patterns are used by grandmothers in caring for their grandsons who excel in Sapan Village. This study uses an approach with a descriptive type of research. This research instrument uses data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The main subjects in this study were 5 grandmothers and 5 grandchildren in Sapan village. The results of the research conducted by this researcher indicate that: 1) The parenting pattern used by grandmothers in Sapan Village is a permitted and democratic parenting pattern, 2) Factors that cause parenting to switch to existing ancestors due to economic factors, busy parents working, widowed or widowed parents due to death and divorced parents.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine classroom management skills in increasing students' learning motivation. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach.This study aims to describe classroom management skills in increasing students' learning motivation. The data sources of this research are teachers and fourth grade students who use the interview instrument with a structured interview list. The results of this study indicate that the teacher has been able to manage the class well, the classroom management carried out by the teacher is like showing a responsive attitude, focusing the attention of the group, namely the teacher asks students to pay attention to the explanation of the material given and then asks all groups if there are those who do not understand then the teacher re-explaining the given task, giving clear instructions, admonishing students well by speaking firmly and clearly without saying rudely or pinching or hitting students, providing reinforcement, namely the teacher gives praise to each student who answers the wrong or correct question so that keep the spirit in learning.From classroom management by teachers, it can also generate student learning motivation because a good relationship between students and teachers that is well established can increase student learning motivation where students do not easily give up in doing assignments and the role of teachers who can arouse students' enthusiasm in learning and teachers who can create a pleasant classroom atmosphere.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an influence of parental guidance on learning motivation during the online learning process in fifth grade students of SDN 101 Makale 4. Quantitative research was used in this study using expost facto research and the sample consisted of 19 students taken from the whole population.Questionnaire were used in collecting data which became the measuring instrument for each variable. The questionnaire instrument distributed to respondents, previously tested, including validity and reliability test. Simple linear regression analysis was used in data analysis. From the results of the study, it can be seen that there is an influence of parental guidance on learning motivation during the online learning process in fifth grade students of SDN 101 Makale 4. This is obtained from a significant value of 0.042 > 0.05 and the determination of R Square = 0.222 which means that the influence of parental guidance on motivation learning during the online learning process is 22.2%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between learning facilities at home and the mathematics learning outcomes of IV grade students at SDN 113 Inpres Tiromanda. This study uses a quantitative approach with the type of correlation research and is analyzed using the help of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS). This research because all members of the population are sampled, namely 33 people. Data collection technique in this study are documentation and questionnaires. Documentation technique is used to obtain data on the value of students’ mathematics learning outcomes and documentation when conducting research. Questionnaire technique is used to obtain data about learning facilities at home for IV grade students. Based on the results of data analysis with the product moment correlation test, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between learning facilities at home and the mathematics learning outcomes of IV grade students at SDN 113 Inpres Tiromanda. This is evidenced by the result of research and analysis of the data obtained, that thitimt 0,631 >tabd 0,344. Therefore, the hypothesis Ha in the study is accepted and the hypothesis Ho is rejected.

Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes through the application of a project based learning model for class V SDN 119 Sarira. The approach used in the research is a qualitative approach and classroom action research (CAR) which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Research subject are the fifth grade students of SDN 119 Sarira as many as 30 people consisting of 12 boys and 18 girls. The research instrument used was the teacher’s observation sheet and the student observation sheet. II increased with a completeness level of 70% with a good category. Based on the results of the researches, it can be concluded that the application of the project based learning model can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SDN 119 Sarira.

Abstract

Research m aims to project the role of parents in increasing the interest of child learning in online learning this research uses a qualitative method to describe an object in the field, how parents are involved in increasing the interest of child learning in daring- study, myth-collecting techniques using observas, and data analysis methods in the imi research used is data-quality data reductive, data presentation, and plupluses. Based on the results of research shows that the iua people’s role in improving interest in child learning in juvenile detention at SDN 101 Makale 4 Kec. Makale stating that the roe of parents in improving is that some children enjoy doing online learning, without waiting for their parents’ direction to learn yet, there are still people who are less lilely to learn.

Abstract

The role of the homeroom teacher in overcoming the problem of learning difficulties of grade III students is very important because through its role the homeroom teacher can help students to overcome the problems difficulties the face. The difficulties faced by students also vary because students have different characteristics. This research aims to: (1) to find out the difficulties of students in the process of learning to read in grade III SDN 1 Bangkelekila’. (2) to find out the role of homeroom teacher in solving the problem of learning difficulties in reading for grade III to 1 students of Bangkelekila. The subject ini this research is the homeroom teacher og class III. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study research design. The informant of this research is the homeroom teacher. Data collection procedures used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, verification, checking the validity of the findings. The research stage includes the pre-field, stage the implementation stage, the data analysis stage the completion stage. The results of research in the field show that the role of the homeroom teacher in overcoming the problem of learning difficulties of grade III students is very important because through his role as a homeroom teacher can help the learning difficulties faced by students so that the sedifficulties can be cosolved properly and students can easily understand the lessons given by their teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to odentify obstacles to the implementation of thematic learning at SD. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The research location is in Malango' Tagari 1 Christian Elementary School which has implemented the 2013 Curriculum. The research subjects are low grade teachers (class I, II, III) who teach at Malango' Tagari 1 Christian Elementary School. The object of this research is the teacher's activity in implementing thematic learning. The data collected will be analyzed using the flow developed by Mills & Huberman, namely data collection as the first step, then data reduction, data display, and conclusion are drawn. The result showed that the obstacles to the implementation of thematic learning at SD Kristen Malango Tagari 1 were (1) the limited understanding of teachers about the concept of development of elementary school-aged children and their characteristics because they were only obtained during educational lectures and had an impact on teachers being less than optimal in carrying out thematic learning according to children’s development, (2) the limited jnowledge of teachers regarding the implementation of thematic learning, so that it has an impact on the absence of some thematic learning characteristics, (3) the factors that hinder the implementation of thematic learning are. a) undisciplined teachers. Time in terms of completing teacher administrative tasks, b) teacher do not really understand about the development of thematic learning in lesson plans, c) teachers have difficulty integrating themes into existing schedules, d) teachetrs have difficulty mananing the learning process of low grade students due to lack of understanding in child development elementary school age, e) the teachers does not focus on the material being taught.
