Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Al Halim Garut is a non-formal educational institution with the aim of studying, interpreting, exploring, animating, and applying Islamic teachings by emphasizing the importance of religious ethics as a guideline for daily behavior. The Santri Academic Information System is needed to make it easier for parents of students and administrators of Islamic boarding schools to search for academic information for students at Islamic boarding schools. Because the Santri Academic Information System at the Al Halim Garut Islamic Boarding School has just been used, it is necessary to analyze the Santri Academic Information System Acceptance using the Technology Acceptance Model Method, to determine the measurement of influence between constructs as well as a benchmark for adapting user acceptance of the system used. In this study, data processing analysis uses Structural Equation Modeling through the tools of Statistical Product and Service Solution and Analysis of Moment Structures. This study resulted in the level of user acceptance of the Santri Academic Information System with a probability value of below 5%, namely 0.000 and the influence between the constructs of the Technology Acceptance Model with 3 accepted hypotheses, namely the variable perceived ease of influencing perceived usefulness, perceived usefulness affecting intention to use, and intention to use influencing use. real.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that is rich in the diversity of characteristics of each region, as in the city of Garut which has regional souvenirs, one of which is dodol arrowroot, souvenirs made of leather and so on. However, currently tourists who want to buy souvenirs in Garut lack the information they get or the knowledge of tourists about the regional specialties they visit. Geographic information systems can help users find places of interest and also by mapping places where souvenirs are made to help users find information about several souvenir shops in the city of Garut. The methodology used is the Rational Unified Process which has four stages, namely Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and transition. This system is built using the React Native framework and using the JavaScript programming language. The result of this research is to create a Geographic Information System for mapping souvenir places in Garut City based on Android, it is hoped that tourists can find it easy to find souvenir locations in Garut city.

Abstract

Alumni tracer study is a method of tracking or surveying alumni by tertiary institutions as well as private universities, the tracer study is used as a source of information and to find out the absorption process, and the position of graduates in the world of work. The Garut Institute of Technology is a tertiary institution located in Garut Regency which always produces the best undergraduate graduates from year to year the number of students continues to increase. The Garut Institute of Technology already has an alumni tracer study system, due to the limitations of the system in terms of adding variables to add question items, the tracer study alumni still use the Google form, and for questionnaires as the number of students at the Garut Institute of Technology requires a separate database and applications in its management . The purpose of this research is to design and build a tracer study information system to accelerate tracer study alumni management, and facilitate alumni data processing. This study uses the Rational Unified Process methodology with the stages of inception, elaboration, construction, and transition. Application testing uses the alpha test and beta test with the black box testing method. The results of this research are: the website-based information system for tracer study alumni of the Garut Institute of Technology makes it easy to recap the results of the tracer study questionnaire and manage alumni data, as well as access information on job vacancies for alumni.

Abstract

The bridge is part of the means of transportation to connect two areas that are separated by a river, ravine, or other. Garut Regency is one of the areas in West Java Province which has a large area and is connected by many bridges. These bridges are managed by the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR), specifically the Bina Marga sector. To support the management of bridges in Garut Regency, a system is needed that can inform the location and condition of the bridge. This geographic information system will provide information to the user regarding the map of the bridge location, bridge name, road sections, dimensions, type, photo, and condition of the bridge. The purpose of this study is to design a geographic information system for mapping bridges using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) development methodology with Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling. The results of the study show that the geographic information system built can map the location and inform the details and condition of the existing bridges in Garut Regency. Then, the results of the Likert scale calculations from the questionnaires distributed to respondents from PUPR Garut district obtained an assessment of 96% which indicates that this system is acceptable and can be implemented for a bridge mapping system.

Abstract

Roads can be said to be a transportation infrastructure that connects one place to another. Roads of different lengths have different surface layers and their respective conditions. At present the road data collection carried out by the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR) is still being carried out by inputting and storing data that is still written in the document. Based on this problem, the Geographic Information System is one of the solutions that can be used, this system will later become a service tool for the Office (PUPR) in collecting data and converting spatial data into digital maps to make it easier to visualize road conditions to the public. The methodology used is the Rational Unified Process with the stages or phases in it, while the application development uses the Laravel framework and the mapping uses Leaflet JS. The results of this study obtained a Web-Based Road Data Collection Graphic Information System. This system is expected to be able to assist the Office (PUPR) when working on road data collection and visualizing road conditions to the public.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide recommendations for selecting study programs for prospective students who will enter the Garut Institute of Technology (ITG). The results of this recommendation will provide information on study programs that are in accordance with the academic value of the prospective student. To achieve this goal, this study uses the Naïve Bayes Algorithm to predict future opportunities based on past data, then to get recommendation results by finding the greatest probability value for each attribute. The stages of the algorithm carried out include data collection, data processing, modeling, and evaluation. The data used for analysis needs to use data that corresponds to the Final Grades of Garut College of Technology students during their school years from 2014 to 2019 with a total of 30 data in each study program with a total of 90 data. From the four modeling times data and algorithm testing resulted in the best Naïve Bayes algorithm calculation accuracy with an accuracy of 73.4%.

Abstract

Garut Regency has 6,095 farmer groups, with so much data, suppliers find it difficult to find quality farmer groups and are located close together. Research at the Garut College of Technology has previously discussed geographic information systems for the general public, but no research has been found that applies the location-based service method. The purpose of this study is to provide information on the location of farmer groups spread across Garut Regency to facilitate access to information for suppliers by applying the location based service method. The method used for designing Android-based applications is the Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology including the Inception, Elaboration, and Construction stages. The results of this study are in the form of a mobile-based application that provides information on the location of farmer groups spread across Garut Regency and has a critique or suggestion feature, so that users can provide suggestions to farmer groups in order to improve the quality of their business premises and commodity yields. Based on the results of functional suitability testing, it shows that the quality of the software is stated to be very high with a percentage value of 100%. This agricultural location mapping application can lead users to the exact location of the farm.

Abstract

The XYZ counter is a counter in Tasikmalaya with one of the products it sells, online transportation balances such as Maxim, Gojek, and Grab. With the increasing number of online drivers, more and more transactions take place so that more and more data is generated. However, this data is not processed so that it accumulates and does not provide new knowledge for the counter owner. The purpose of this research is to cluster sales of online transportation balances so that they become input, especially the XYZ counter promotion strategy. The method used is clustering with the K-Means algorithm to produce clusters based on the nominal purchase price. The dataset used in this study amounted to 4,867 data but after cleansing it became 2,642 data. The dataset was obtained from XYZ counter sales in October 2022. This study produced 2 clusters with cluster C1, namely a low nominal of 2,499 data with a percentage of 94.59%, while the number of clusters C2 with a high nominal value of 143 data with a percentage of 5.41 . The results of this study indicate that the k-means algorithm can be used for clustering sales of online transportation balances at the XYZ counter, and sales of online transportation balances are quite good because the number of data clusters with low nominal is more than clusters with high nominal.

Abstract

Financial management is an activity of managing finances, where this financial management is managed by the management of the Islamic boarding school which will then be reported to the treasurer of the Foundation. Islamic Boarding School Financial Management is an institutional activity related to the payment of monthly student contributions, meals, electricity, cash and charity or infaq money either from the parents of the students or from the congregation of the miftahul hidayah Islamic boarding school. Financial management carried out by Islamic boarding school administrators often results in errors in data collection due to human error and produces inaccurate data both expenditure and income. Based on these problems, a financial management application was designed at the Miftahul Hidayah Islamic boarding school using the PHP programming language with a MySQL database and using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology, the stages of which used Requirement Planning, RAD Design Workshop and Implementation. Then use the Data Flow diagram (DFD) modeling. The results of this study are in the form of financial management applications with several features such as student data, financial balances, weekly reports, monthly reports and annual reports.

Abstract

ODOL (Over Dimension Over Loading) violations in freight transportation in Indonesia have become a very serious problem. Over Dimension is a condition where the dimensions of the vehicle carrier are not in accordance with production standards and regulatory provisions, while Over Loading is a condition where the vehicle carries a load that exceeds the specified load limit. One of the government's efforts to reduce the number of ODOL (Over Dimension Over Loading) vehicle violations is to apply information technology that can support performance in the UPPKB (Motorized Vehicle Weighing Unit). The Integrated Online Weighbridge System is a distributed system in each UPPKB whose data is centralized in a monitoring system and integrated with other systems to exchange data with the aim of speeding up the process of data collection and inspection of goods transport vehicles. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of supervising goods transport vehicles using the Integrated Online Weighbridge System at UPPKB and obtain information on constraints on the system and provide input for improvements to the JTO system for the future. Specific research locations will be carried out at UPPKB Losarang, Indramayu Regency and UPPKB Balonggandu, Karawang Regency. This study uses the PIECES Framework analysis method. Based on the results and discussion above, it shows that the evaluation of the use of the integrated JTO system using the PIECES Framework method is very effective with an average percentage value of 90%. The validity test showed that 18 questions were declared valid and the reliability test of 18 questions, namely 0.969 > 0.70, was declared reliable. The PIECES Framework method is able to show that there are still points that need attention for improving the integrated JTO system.
