Abstract

Qur’an is a holly book that was revealed by Allah S.W.T to the prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) as guidances for human kind to live better in order to help them to get good part today and the day after. Qur’an is also as a direction (hudan) for people in general and obedient people (moslem) specifically, and it has been a medium to make it different between good and bad (al-furqan). As revelation, Qur’an discusses about faith, etiquette, moral value, and character. This study described Qur’an perspective of character education. Through character education, it is hoped that moslem people can apply it in line with Qur’an rules. Therefore, moslem people can achieve good personality (akhlatul-karimah dan Mmahmudah) and avoid something bad (mazmumah), even achieving demoralization.Kata Kunci: al-quran, pendidikan karakter, akhlak, etika dan moral

Abstract

Syllabus is a development of curriculum that contains synopsis, competency, indicator of topic/ sub- topic, and reference of a major. To apply curriculum well in a classroom, it is better to develop syllabus to become a lesson plan. Lesson plan consists of some components; Standard Competency, Basic Comptency, Indicator Competency, Lecture material and its description, learning experience (learning Strategy), media/ learning tools, evaluation system, and reference. Lesson plan is a projection that will be done by lecturer in classroom.Kata kunci: kurikulum, silabus, SAP

Abstract

In teaching ‘qawaid’, it needs an actual and an innovative strategy. A ‘qawaid’ teaching technique (uslub) is one of many teaching techniques of language. The choosing technique has to be consistent with teaching method used, and it has to be appropriate with relevant approaches. The application of teaching ‘qawait’ can be combined with some strategies. It means that if a teacher is not successful in applying one technique, s/he can change it with another technique directly. The differences of students’ mastery (not homogen) in class may influence the accuracy and the success of teaching technique used. The analysis of  representative ‘qawaid’ teaching technique for College Islamic Studies is that teaching ‘qawaid’ relys on the basis of Qur’an in which students can learn by applying ‘qawaid’ theory and also can master the content of Qur’an. Kata kunci: analisis, teknik pengajaran, qawa’id

Abstract

It has been done a descriptive quantitative research about The identification of mechanical Misconception Concept by Using CRI (Certainty of Response Index). This research was applied to the first semester students of Physical Science Department of STAIN Batusangkar who were registered in 2011/2012 academic year that consisted of 55 students. In collecting the data, the instrument of this research was test in multiple choice form. It consisted 30 items. In asnwering the question, the students were asked to write CRI mark (0-5) as level of their believe to their answer. A misconception student can be known by comparing his or her answer based on CRI s/he fills. Research result showed that 80 % students did misconception of the time concept of free falling bodies, 45 % students did not know the concept of action (aksi) and reaction (reaksi), and 7.27 % students knew the concept of Newton Formula 1. It can be concluded that the level of misconception of the first semester students of Physical Science Department of STAIN Batusangkar who were registered in 2011/2012 academic year was very high.Kata kunci: miskonsepsi fisika, instrumen, mekanika, CRI (Certainty of Response Index)

Abstract

The focus of this paper is the research and development, as a kind of educational research that is innovative, productive and meaningful. The product of research and development in aspects, especially in education has been able to make the job easier and more enjoyable. Developing of learning as a model, curriculum and component have been able to make learning easier. Example, with the integration of information and communication technology (ICT) into the learning process, making the learning can be done in many places. Research and development can be done with various models that have been developed by experts, such as Plomp, 4-D, and Borg and Gall. The researchers were able to select and adopt it has been developed by expert. The research phase of development should have the design, development and evaluation of the product. Indeed, studies conducted have a positive contribution to the advancement and improvement of the quality of the learning process.Kata kunci:    research and development, education, inovatif, productive, meaningfull

Abstract

The aim of this research was to create Arabic test tool based on valid basic competency, practical and effective for Islamic Senior High School. The method of this research was research development. This research had three stages; front-end analysis, prototype, and assessment. Front-end analysis result showed that it was needed  an Arabic test tool as guidance to know the achievement of the teaching and learning objective. The Arabic test tool was designed based on the basic compentency. Then, the Arabic test tool was validated to the expert/ reviewer. The result of the research showed that: 1) Arabic test tool that was designed was already valid (content and construct validity) based on the expert and/or reviewer point of view; 2) The use of the Arabic test tool in teaching and learning process did not face any problems according to the students and teachers related to its practice; and 3) The Arabic test tool was already effective that can be seen from students’ opinion after getting test and their good mark. Kata kunci: bahasa Arab, pengembangan, perangkat tes, kompetensi

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe and improve a professional councellor’s competency in applying the instrument of AUM PTSDL through services of content mastery. This research was an action research. The subject of this research were 20 junior high school councellors  who were accomodated in MGMP (Musyawarah Guru Pembimbing) in Padang Panjang regency. This research applied cyclical process that consisted of some cycles. Therefore, in this research plan, action, observation, and reflection were done in two cycles depended on the achievement of the research objective. The result of this research showed that services of content mastery could improve the councellors’ competency in applying the instrument of AUM PTSDL.Kata kunci: kompetensi profesional, aplikasi instrumentasi, guru pembimbing, layanan penguasaan konten

Abstract

Indonesia's education system hasn't been able to reflect the learners and educational output character. One cause is the paradigm the teacher who assumes coaching Morals as the character formation of students in the school as a teacher of religious education task. Coaching these characters could be done by science teachers particularly biology, according to the purpose of the first biological subjects. Biology teacher responsible for teaching the values of Islam (imtaq) in the material he teaches. To cultivate ketaqwaannya, then all learner activities; think, feel, behave, and act responsibly (BMB3) will be based on the values ketaqwaan. Abstract

Bertahan dalam terpaan globalisasi yang inhuman, propaganda dan menepisnya visi, misi hidup berbangsa dan bernegara  serta lemahnya pribadi individu dan kelompok maka semua jajaran perlu mempertahankan pribadi dan kepribadian bangsa yang kokoh. Indonesia sebagai negara yang luas dengan keberagaman suku bangsa budaya lokal yang ada merupakan modal dasar untuk membentuk kepribadian bangsa. Memahami dan menjalankan serta membumikan nilai nilai budaya lokal dalam kehidupan sehari-hari akan membentuk karakter bangsa.           Adat minang kabau sebagai budaya lokal tidak berdiri sendiri selalu bersinergis dengan budaya nasional dan pancasila. Beberapa konsep adat minang kabau tentang kehidupan berbangsa: Adat minangkabau dan Kebangsaan Hubungan individu dan kelompok, Kepribadian dan karakter orang minang Sifat pribadi/watak orang minangkabau 1) Hiduik baraka, baukue jo bajangko.2) Baso-basi malu jo sopan.3) Tenggang raso 4) Setia / loyal. 5) Adil. 6) Hemat dan cermat. 7) Waspada/siaga. 8) Berani karena benar. 9) Arif, bijaksana, tanggap dan sabar. 10) Rajin. 11) Rendah hati.Kata kunci : nilai- nilai, budaya lokal, minangkabau dan karakter
