Discussions upon the use of LPS by Sharia banks are interesting due to the existence of LPS which is believed to be identical to conventional finance system. Sharia banks have their own particular characteristics that make them different from that of conventional ones. Sharia baks operate based on the general rules of banking system and on Islamic faith and morals as well. However, laws on LPS points out that warranty functions are also applicable to sharia banks. Abstract

SPS-BI May 2010 period points out that Sharia banking service marketing has developed very rapidly. It is noted that there are ten Sharia banks operating throughout Indonesia. Principles of marketing – profit sharing- as applied by these banks is suitable with principles of Islamic teaching since there are no interests as practiced by conventional banks.  Furthermore, Sharia banking service offers should be based on the customer’s needs. Consequently, Sharia banking management should learn and understand how the customers behave toward the bank itself. This means that particular strategies are needed in promoting the products and factors influencing the customer’s consideration in choosing the bank. Good ”service delivery system” should meet the following indicators: available, convenient and attractive. Some strategies are also needed for the marketing: segmenting, targeting, dan positioning

Flexibility of acceptability in carrying out translations should wisely refer to the laws and conditions of commerce.  Al-Buyu’ dan al-Salam are two forms of trading transactions in classical fiqh that can be served as the analogy for e-commerce, yet they must face the challenges dealing with payment using credit card which also attract perspectives fiqh of economy.

Abstract

How can humans live happily is old problems and new problems as well, he is also the problem of micro and macro issues from of the economics perspective. There is no way to be able to live happily except by getting rid of the three enemies of man, namely poverty, ignorance and disease. In terms of social factors, poverty is also a chain where the chain can be broken. It is an interesting phenomenon to listen to the history of Islam that explains that the first holy war undertaken by Abu Bakr was the war against poverty in the form of warfare against the rich who do not want to pay the zakat that should be enjoyed directly to the poor. This paper explores the problems or social problems as an inspiration or a solution to the problem of poverty in the Islamic perspective.

Abstract

In terms of legal perspective, the fatawa issued by Indonesian Council of Islamic Scholars/Ulama (MUI) theoretically have tried to apply the principles of al-Qur’an, Hadits, Ijma, dan Qiyas as practiced by the Sunnites. However, in the realization, they suffered from inconsistency. There are many of the fatawas refering to books of fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence). In terms of the content, such factors as social and political environments yield influence toward the formulation of the fatawa. On the other hand, such influence give lessons to those who are interested in Islamic laws that the products of thoughts in Islamic laws cannot be separated from the social and political conditions when the thoughts were formulated.
