Abstract

This study analyzes the factors that influence customer loyalty Banjarmasin Branch of Bank Muamalat Indonesia. The problems in this research is how the influence of service quality on customer satisfaction, trust, commitment and customer loyalty, how to influence satisfaction, corporate image, trust and commitment to loyalty. The purpose of the research was to determine and analyze various factors that influence loyalty. The research sample totaled 110 respondents. Data were analyzed using SEM. The results showed an effect of service quality on satisfaction, trust, commitment and loyalty. Corporate image effect on loyalty. Meanwhile, customer satisfaction, trust and commitment are not shown to influence the customer loyalty.

Abstract

This study has the purpose to analyze the influence of leadership styles and motivation on employee performance that exists in PT Asuransi Astra Buana, especially on Two Wheelers and Health division. The result has shown that leadership style and motivation are a positive significant effect the employee performance. Leadership style is the most influential factor on employee performance than motivation, whereas the most dominant leadership style is transformational leadership style.

Abstract

The decision to continue their study to university level is an ideal choice for senior high or vocational school graduates. University is an educational institution that is expected to create human resources who have added values and who are able to make scientific works and innovations in technology. The objective of this research is to analyze simultaneous, partial, and dominant influence of Marketing Mix for Service which consists of product, price, promotion, place, people, process, and physical evidence (7Ps) toward the decision to choose study major at the State Polytechnic of Banjarmasin (Accounting Program and Business Administration Program). This study is aimed to test different decisions in choosing one of the four majors offered. The population in this study is all 854 students of Accounting and Business Administration Programs of the State Polytechnic of Banjarmasin. The sampling technique used in this study is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling with total 100 samples taken. The hypothesis of the study is tested by using multiple linear regression analysis and one way analysis of variance (one way anova). The first finding of the study is that in terms of simultaneous influence, Marketing Mix for Service consisting of product, price, promotion, place, people, process, and physical evidence has a significant influence toward the decision to choose major of study. The second finding is that in terms of partial influence, only variables of product, price, promotion, and place that have significant influence while other variables (people, process, and physical evidence) do not have significant influence toward the decision to choose major of study. The third finding is that variable of price has the most dominant influence toward the decision. The last finding of the research is there is no significant average variance on choosing one of the majors of Accounting, ALKS, Business Administration, and Information Management Programs of the State Polytechnic of Banjarmasin

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the effect of managerial ownership, debt policy, dividend policy on financial performance and agency costs in manufacturing companies in Indonesia. This study used quantitative methods with positivism approach. 20 research object manufacturing company. Collecting data using secondary data from annual reports and financial statements. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The analysis showed that managerial ownership, debt policy, dividend policy affect the financial performance; managerial ownership, debt policy, dividend policy, and financial performance affects the agency costs. The implication of this research is a manufacturing company needs to continue to pay attention to the shares owned by the portion of managerial control in the company, debt management and distribution of large dividends. Thirdly it will lead to improved financial performance so that conflicts of interest and agency costs will decrease. managerial ownership, debt policy, dividend policy, financial performance, agency costs

Abstract

This research aimed to identify and analyze the influence of kaizen which consist of seiri (X1), seiton (X2), seiso (X3), seikestu (X4), and shitsuke (X5) as independent variables either simultaneously or partially to the employees’ performance (Y) as dependent variable at PT Fumakilla Indonesia, Banjarmasin unit. The instrument used in this research was questionnaire and then it distributed to all production employees (105 people) at PT Fumakilla Indonesia, Banjarmasin Unit based on a sample census. The variable measured by using Likert Scale from 1 to 5. Multiple linear regression analysis also used to determine the effect of independent variables, namely seiri (X1), seiton (X2), seiso (X3), seikestu (X4), and shitsuke (X5) to the dependent variable, that is employees’ performance (Y) simultaneously or partially. The results indicate that kaizen which consist of seiri (X1), seiton (X2), seiso (X3), seikestu (X4), and shitsuke (X5) simultaneously affect the employees’ performance (Y). Whereas, as partially, only seiri (X1), seiton (X2), and seiso (X3) significantly have influence to the employees’ performance, whereas seikestu (X4) and shitsuke (X5) have no significant influence.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of investment opportunity set to dividend policy. Population are manufacturing companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2010-2011. Sample are 58 companies as a sample research based on tecnique purposive sampling and used method quantitative. Data used in this research is secondary data in the from of financial report, Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD) and other references that support this research. Data analysis tecnique uses the classical assumption test: normaly test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test and the test heterokedasticity. Test hypothesis using multiple regression analysis using SPSS 17. The result has shown that: LnMVEBVE has negative significant influence to DPR. LnPER has a positive significant effect to DPR. LnCAPXA has negative and significant to DPR. LnDEPV does not effect to DPR

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the influence of organizational culture on employee performance and motivation of employees especially front-liner. The unit of analysis in this study is the front-liner employees in branch office environments Banjarmasin South Kalimantan region. Respondents used at this research as 58 employees, by census sampling technique. Measurement variables using Likert scale, and use analysis multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show organizational culture variables positive and significant effect on the performance of employees, also with motivational variables positive and significant effect on employee performance. Cultural and motivational variables together (simultaneously), significant positive effect on employee performance front-liner. Based on these results, the implications for the Bank of South Kalimantan is that in supporting organizational culture and motivation also need to pay attention to and improve the quality of potential employees front-liner for example by providing the opportunity to continue the education (like education for services excellent care, education and personality development) and engage in training (like training on banking products, training on risk management, especially with regard to transaction services and risk transaction), so that it can improve employee performance front-liner
