Abstract

This study analyzes the use of effective sentences in the editorial of the December 2020 edition of the Riau Pos newspaper. Effective sentences have a very large role for an article. The problem in this study is how to use effective sentences in the editorials of the December 2020 edition of the Riau Pos daily newspaper in terms of parallels in form and in terms of economy? The theory that is used as a guide in this research is Mustakim (1994). The method that the writer uses in this research is the method of content analysis and the research approach that the writer uses is a qualitative research. All data on effective sentences contained in the editorial of the December 2020 edition of the Riau Pos daily newspaper, from the alignment of forms, amounted to 15 incorrect data and 33 incorrect data. So, it can be concluded that from the parallel form of 650 sentences, which is 99.5% or about 635 sentences, it is categorized as very good in writing effective sentences in terms of form alignment, while sentences that are less effective from form alignment are 1.5% or 15 sentences, while the use of effective sentences in the editorial of the Riau Pos daily newspaper December 2020 edition of the savings of 650 sentences, namely 96.7% or about 617 sentences, was categorized as very good in writing effective sentences from frugality, while sentences that were less effective from frugality were 3.4 % or 33 sentences

Abstract

The background of this research is that there are still errors in the use of punctuation marks in research proposals by students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau Islamic University. The method used in this research is content analysis. The data collection technique of this research is using hermeneutic techniques. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques of this research are data identification, data classification, and conclusion. The results showed that the form of errors in the use of punctuation in the research proposals of students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Riau amounted to 497 error cases, including 116 errors with a period (.) and a comma ( ,) totaling 226 errors, colon (:) totaling 46 errors, semicolon (;) totaling 11 errors, ellipsis (...) totaling 2 errors, parentheses ((...)) totaling 21 errors, single quotation marks ('...') totaled 9 errors, quotation marks (“...”) totaled 27 errors, question mark (?) totaled 1 error, exclamation mark (!) had 2 errors, and hyphen (- ) amounted to 36 errors.

Abstract

Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini yaitu pembelajaran daring membuat guru yang berusia di atas 50 tahun ke atas kewalahan dalam mengikuti perkembangan teknologi pada pembelajaran daring. Namun hal ini menjadi pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, dan teknik analisis data deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring masih sama dengan pembelajaran tatap muka secara langsung, yaitu dari komponen perencanaan, komponen pelaksanaan, dan komponen evaluasi masih tetap dilakukan. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring sudah terlaksana cukup baik. Hal ini disebabkan guru telah mempersiapkan perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Namun, pembelajaran daring memiliki kendala dalam pelaksanaannya kondisi jaringan yang tidak stabil dan kesulitan peserta didik memahami materi pembelajaran adalah tantangan tersendiri dalam pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of prepositions contained in the November 2020 edition of the Riau Pos daily editorial. The use of prepositions in the Riau Pos daily editorial November 2020 edition totals (427) prepositions. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of prepositions in the November 2020 edition of the Riau Pos daily newspaper in the Riau Pos daily newspaper. The theory that is used as a guide in this research is Abdul Chaer (2009). The research method uses a content analysis method with a qualitative approach. The results of this study the authors found 13 uses of prepositions in the editorial of the daily Riau Pos November 2020 edition totaling 427 prepositions. Of the 13 prepositions, the preposition that is more dominant and more widely used in the editorial of the Riau Pos daily November 2020 edition is the preposition where it is, namely the preposition (at). So it can be concluded that the use of prepositions in the Riau Pos daily editorial November 2020 edition is mostly correct and appropriate in its use in filling out the description function in a clause or sentence, but there are still some errors in the use of prepositions, namely the preposition where is (at) in the daily editorial. Abstract

This research is about code mixing in the utterances of sellers and buyers in the Pasar shocked Jalan Karya one, Kampar district. The problems discussed in this study are (1) What are the forms of code-mixing contained in the Speeches of Sellers and Buyers at Pasar Kaget Jalan Karya Satu, Kampar Regency? (2) What are the causes of code mixing between Sellers and Buyers at the Shocked Market Jalan Karya Satu, Kampar Regency?. The purpose of this study was to examine the form of code-mixing and the causes of code-mixing in the speech of sellers and buyers in the Pasar shocked Jalan Karya one, Kampar district. The theory that researchers use in this study is the theory of Abdul Chaer (2015). The method that the researcher uses is a descriptive method. The research results obtained are 1) The form of code mixing contained in the speech in the Pasar shocked Jalan Karya one Kampar district amounted to 5 forms, namely: insertion of elements in the form of words, phrases, baster, repetition of words, and expressions or idioms. (2) The factors that cause code-mixing in the speeches of sellers and buyers at the Pasar Pasar Minggu, Kampar Regency are (a) relaxed or informal situations, (b) the absence of appropriate expressions, (c) showing off their learning.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the obstacles found in carrying out evaluation procedures during the pandemic at SMA Negeri 5 Peknabaru. The purpose of the study was to determine the teacher's obstacles in carrying out the procedures for developing an evaluation of Indonesian learning during the pandemic at SMA Negeri 5 Pekabaru. The theory used is the theory of Zainal Arifin with the title "Learning Evaluation". This study uses a phenomenological method with the type of field observation research and a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interview and documentation techniques. Obstacles in evaluation planning are the lack of evaluation materials and lack of understanding of applications, obstacles in the implementation of evaluation, namely incomplete online learning facilities, obstacles in monitoring the implementation of evaluation, namely the lack of student monitoring and evaluation planning that is not in accordance with the evaluation implementation, obstacles in data processing, namely sources unstructured data, frequent errors in data processing, obstacles in reporting evaluation results, namely parents who are difficult to contact and obstacles in using the evaluation results, namely the lack of attention of parents to their children and economic factors.

Abstract

The importance of the beauty of poetry and the clarity of the meaning of poetry is the background in this research. Through the study of the Strata Norm Roman Ingarden, it is hoped that the beauty of poetry and the clarity of meaning is reflected in the layers of sound, layers of meaning and layers of objects. The problems in this research are: How is the analysis of the Strata Norms of Roman Ingarden in the Anthology of the Poetry of the Fire Verses by Sapardi Djoko Damono? This research uses a descriptive method. Data collection techniques using hermeneutic techniques and analyzed by content analysis techniques (content analysis). The results of this study can be concluded that there is a normative stratum of Roman Ingarden in the poetry anthology of Ayat-ayat Api by Sapardi Djoko Damono in the form of layers of sound including vowel repetition (assonance) and consonant repetition (alliteration). Then there are layers of meaning in the form of lexical meaning and grammatical meaning. Furthermore, there is an object layer containing the actors, the setting of the place, the setting of time and the objects presented in the poem.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomena that occur in the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang Seberang using a quantitative research design with a descriptive method that aims to describe, analyze, and interpret data systematically so that a real picture of the influence of the model is obtained. online learning on student achievement. The theory used is the theory of Sumatra. Data collection methods used, namely the method of observation and questionnaires. The results of the research on the influence of the online learning model on the learning achievement of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang Seberang Academic Year 2020/2021 are quite influential in the influence of the online learning model on learning achievement in Indonesian. Thus, it can be concluded that the influence of the online learning model on the achievement of learning Indonesian in class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bangkinang Seberang for the 2020/2021 academic year is 61.6 which is categorized as quite influential.

Abstract

Onomatopoeia is an imitation of objects or events that are often used in comics and graphic novels. The approach used is an approach approach, this type of research includes library research and the method used is descriptive with research techniques namely hermeneutic techniques. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the onomatopoeic functions contained in the graphic novel Brasta Seta by Wahyu Hidayatz include a) the onomatopoeic function of describing moods, there are 107 data examples: hahaha, hu uu uu, b) the onomatopoeic function gives an impression on the objects seen, heard or felt there were 30 data Examples: breg!, shhh, c) onomatopoeic function describes there are 42 data Example: aaaa!, pyang!, d) onomatopoeic function of actions or objects that produce sound 75 data examples: kukuruyuuk, nyit nyit nyit. (2) the onomatopoeic meaning found in the graphic novel Brasta Seta by Wahyu Hidayatz is contextual meaning. The meaning of a lexeme or word that is in a context, for example the onomatopoeia “dzzyyeeerrr!!!” the sound that emerged from the explosion in the market made the situation noisy. The onomatopoeic sound in the graphic novel is because there are objects that exist and are supported by context.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and find out data and information about verbs in Riau Malay dialect Batu Rijal Hilir, Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The data that has been collected will be described, analyzed, and interpreted systematically so that verbs can be identified in terms of their form in Riau Malay dialect Batu Rijal Hilir, Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The method used in this study is an ethnographic method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observations, recordings, and notes. The results of this study indicate that (1) Verbs in terms of form consist of: original verbs: [sesa?] 'sesak', [ado] 'ada', [bǝli] 'beli', [balǝ?] 'home', [bayǝ ] 'pay', [tuloƞ] 'help', [broken] 'broke', [gugu] 'fall', [kojo] 'work', [bagƐh] 'beri', [teƞgelam] 'sink'. (2) Derived verbs consist of: (a) Prefix {meN-}: [meniƞok] 'to see', prefix {meN-} The allomorph {meƞ}: [meƞidup] 'to live'. (b) Prefix {ba-}: [babuñi] 'to sound'. (c) Prefix {te-}: [tegayut] 'depends'. (d) Confix {di-}: [dibuƞ?us] 'wrapped'. (e) Confix {di-an}: [dilǝta?kan] 'put', (f) Suffix {-an}: [ambe?an] 'take'. (g) Reduplication of all verbs: [buda?-buda?] 'children'. This shows that the Riau Malay Language Verb in Batu Rijal Hilir Dialect, Peranap District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, in terms of its form, there are two verbs, namely the original verb and the derived verb.
