Abstract

Background: Schizophrenia is a persistent psychotic disorder that includes disturbances in behavior, emotions, and perceptions. Symptoms of schizophrenia are social isolation. Social isolation is the state of an individual experiencing a decline or even being completely unable to interact with other people around him. The physical impact of patients with social isolation if not addressed will cause more serious problems including; self-care deficits, and hallucinations which can eventually lead to violent behavior and suicidal actions. Family support or the role of the family in educating family members greatly influences the occurrence or absence of mental disorders. Objective: This study aims to describe the family's emotional and instrumental support for schizophrenic patients with social isolation in the work area of the Ciamis Health Center in 2020. Method: The research method used is descriptive. The population in this study were families of schizophrenic patients with social isolation disorders in the Work Area of the Ciamis Health Center as many as 15 people. Samples were taken using the total sampling technique. Result: The results showed that most of the emotional support in schizophrenic patients with social isolation was categorized as unsupportive by as many as 9 people (60%) and instrumental support in schizophrenic patients with social isolation was mostly categorized as unsupportive by as many as 8 people (53.3%). Conclusion: description of emotional support and instrumental support in schizophrenic patients with social isolation in the Work Area of the Ciamis Health Center, most of which are categorized as not supportive.

Abstract

Nurse care behavior is one of the important aspects in fulfilling patient satisfaction, care covers human relationships that are one of the quality indicators of home service It hurts. No. rarely conflict between nurses and patients as a result of the lack of care given to patients so that disappointment and discontent and low trust Patient. Level. Satisfaction is a function of the difference between performance felt with hope. The aim of this literature review is to identify and describe research that investigates the relationship between caregiver behavior and patient satisfaction in the living room. The method used in writing this article is literature review with searches sourced from an electronic data base including Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Garuda portal with the keywords nurse caring behavior and patient satisfaction. Researchers only selected articles published in the period 2015-2020 with 15 related journals. The data obtained were analyzed, arranged systematically, compared with each other and discussed related literature. The results of the literature review showed that there was a relationship between nurses' caring behavior and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient room.

Abstract

Success in extending life expectancy should be viewed wisely as a manifestation of the success of human resource development in the present. However, it cannot be denied that with the increasing number of elderly people, this has the potential to cause various problems. One of them is related to the reduced level of population productivity. The elderly group often becomes unproductive because of the decline in their physical and mental conditions. This study aims to analyze the relationship between family support and successful aging in the elderly in Panulisan Dayeuhluhur Village. The research design used is correlational or relationship research with a cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study were 52 of the 1073 elderly population in Panulisan Barat Village with a randomized proportional sampling technique. From the results of the Colmogorov-Smirnov test, it is known that there is a significant relationship between family support and successful aging in the elderly, with a p value of 0.000 which is smaller than an alpha of 0.05. Suggestions for nursing practitioners from the results of this study can be used as input to bring active efforts to health workers, especially gerontic nurses in the community in giving a social impression to the elderly, so that it is expected to produce better living conditions for the elderly. Further research is expected to dig deeper into the dimensions of family support in an effort to improve Successful Aging in the elderly with a deeper analysis of each dimension

Abstract

Objective: The number of deaths from traffic accidents over the years ever-increasing. According to the Global Status Report on Road Safety, more than 1.2 million people die annually due to traffic accidents, with millions more getting a serious injuries. The number of victims resulting from transportation accidents (traffic) that give rise to emergency conditions, need help quickly on the scene to prevent the morbidity and mortality of the victim. The traffic police is an apparatus that served to safeguard the safety of road users and minimize traffic accident victims. Method: This research aims to know the description of knowledge of traffic police about the assistance of Basic Life Support way of breath in Police Resort Ciamis. The research method used i.e. descriptive. The population in this study are all the police officers in the traffic Office Police Resort Ciamis as many as 120 people. Samples were taken using the technique of proportional random sampling. Result: The research results showed that the knowledge of respondents about the sense of the highest frequency of knowledge category Basic Life Support enough i.e. as many as 36 people (66.7%). The knowledge of respondents about the purpose and the initial steps of the highest frequency of good category Basic Life Support. that is as many as 37 people (68.5%). The knowledge of respondents about the stages of Basic Life Support way breath (airway) frequency-the highest category of good that is as many as 27 people (50.0%). Conclusion: The conclusions of the research on knowledge description of traffic police of traffic police  about the assistance of Basic Life Support in Police Resort Cimias the highest frequency of good category i.e. as many as 28 people (51.8%).

Abstract

Background: Stunting is one indicator of chronic nutritional status that describes stunted growth due to long-term malnutrition. One of the causes of stunting in children is family and household factors, namely maternal factors and the home environment. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between birth weight and the incidence of stunting in infants aged 6-24 months Method: This research was conducted in an analytical descriptive manner, namely research that tried to explore how the health phenomenon occurred. The population in this study was a number of infants aged 6-24 months, namely 48 infants. Considering that at the time of the study, there were 15 infants who were unreachable and, not in place at the time of the study, while the researcher's time was very limited, so in this study the researcher used a sample of 33 6-24 month old baby. Result: from the analysis test results with Fisher's exact test, a significance value of 0.023 and an odds ratio of 18.75 was obtained. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that from 33 infants aged 6-24 months, there are 7 babies who are LBW and 4 babies who are stunted. There is no relationship between birth weight and the incidence of stunting in infants aged 6-24 months where LBW babies are 18 times more likely to experience stunting than babies born with normal birth weight.
