Abstract

Improve the quality of education services with the contribution of information systems, operational utility and business support for the organizatio. Information systems and information technology are applied in various teaching and learning process activities in an educational institution not something that is complementary and additional, but rather a need to improve the process and results of the implementation of education carried out by higher education, because it is necessary to manage this information by building a Information Systems (IS) and supported by well lanned Information Technology (IT) so that it becomes an added value for institutionin increasing competitiveness. The Ward and Peppard method is a form of strategic planning for information systems in an organization/company. With this method, various factors that arise in the organization, both internal and external, are analyzed as such to obtain a new strategy. The research was conducted at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi, data collection was carried out by conducting interviews, observing and studying documents. The results of this study are a strategic plan that can be embodied in a portfolio that can be used as a reference for planning information systems at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi

Abstract

Simple data processing using the r studio programming language is a data processing process that needs to be done to convert raw data into information. The data processing method uses data acquisition, data input, data selection, division of study programs. split data using k-fold cross-validation, text word cloud model, and model evaluation. Secondary data was acquired in excel format in May 2021, the number of datasets is 71 records with 5 variables, namely number, name, gender, faculty, and study program (Prodi). Data selection aims to select variables that are needed and variables that are not needed are deleted, so that the results of data selection have 2 variables, namely Name and Study Program and a dataset of 71 records. K-fold cross-validation has training data 54 records and testing data 17. The text mining model is visualized with word cloud data, the results of the word cloud testing data test show that there are 4 most important words, including "STI" with a frequency value of 5, "Teacher" a frequency value of 4 , “Law” frequency value 3, and “Agriculture” frequency value 2.

Abstract

Wireless networks have been widely used for internet services in the business, banking, cafe, military, and education sectors as well as in educational institution such as University of Muhammadiyah Kotabumi. The internet facilities available on campus are used to serve lecturers, education staff and students in accessing the internet. Currently, various models of wireless network technology with the 802.11 standard have now been widely used, both with a frequency of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, even computer and smartphone vendors have installed wireless network cards on their products to facilitate user mobility. However, in reality, especially in University of Muhammadiyah Kotabumi, the points of wifi have not been found in all locations.To make it easier to add wifi points, Wireless Distribution System (WDS) technology is used. WDS is a technology that receives signals and radiates back. WDS is used to optimize the use of network resources to cover the service area. Using WDS allows wireless network connection with multiple access points without having to use cables. All access points used for WDS must be configured using the same radio channel and encryption key. Based on the explanation above and looking at the problems that exist in the System and Technology Study Program, Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi, the rsearcher conducted a research entitled Implementation and Analysis of Wireless Distribution System Networks at the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi. The computer network that has been implemented is monitored and analyzed. Monitoring and analyzing throughput, delay, and packet loss parameters of the connected WDS network, namely Access point 1, Access point 2, and Access point 3 using Axence Nettools. The measurement results after the WDS network has been implemented are obtained The throughput value is 85%, packet lost is 0.007456 and delay is 0.66ms. Based on the implementation and analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the results obtained meet user expectations by referring to the THIPON standard.

Abstract

The use of information technology in patient health services in hospitals will never be separated to achieve efficiency and time effectiveness. In the health sector, the use of technology is still very much needed, let alone its use. In the treatment of cancer, many efforts have been made by patients from prevention, screening (early detection), diagnosis, and treatment. With expert methods are expected to help in providing recommendations in the treatment of cancer. The expert system will read the inputted symptoms to be able to make recommendations in dealing with cancer. The OMT method is an object-based approach methodology that uses use case tools in building software.

Abstract

One of the technologies needed by educators is learning media. This media aims to make it easier for educators and students in learning progress. The benefits of this research include: (1) helping, facilitating, and motivating students in learning Arabic; (2) become a reference in the development of instructional media; and (3) input for further research. The type of research that the author uses is research and development (R&D) and this study using the learning design model of ADDIE (Analyse Design Development Implementation Evaluate). The application is expected to be developed again so that Arabic learning in general and Mufrodat Learning in particular, can be more effective and students can be more interested and easier to understand the more complete Mufrodat material so that it makes students not to be bored.

Abstract

Inventory control is one of the important problems faced by companies at this time. The problem of inventory control becomes so big because in most companies, inventory is a large part or portion listed on the balance sheet. Inventory that is too large or too small in a company can cause problems. Therefore, the use of mathematical approaches to assist decision-making in determining inventory levels and how the inventory control model is converted into the form of an application program. Computer programs have long been the subject of study. In this case, the inventory control model that will be discussed is the Economic Order Quantity Model which is a simple inventory model that aims to determine the amount of each order (Q) so that the Total Annual Relevant Cost (TC) is minimized.

Abstract

The use of computer networks is increasingly growing, this causes the installation of network devices to be more and more diverse. With so many network devices installed, the risk of damage that occurs makes network administrators take a long time to detect the damage. To overcome this, it is possible to create a Telegram Bot for monitoring mikrotik and other devices connected to the networks. Mikrotik OS through script logic that is inputted through the features can inform network damage to network administrators. Telegram bot is a bot or robot that is programmed with various commands to carry out some instructions given by the user. By using bots, you can perform network management on Mikrotik, making it easier for a network administrator to work. This study aims to monitor network devices, send notification messages that enter the Telegram application to be able to find out the status of active and inactive users and devices.

Abstract

Collage is a scientific institution that has the task of providing education and teaching above the secondary level, and which provides education and teaching based on the Indonesian national culture and in a scientific way. A good university must be able to utilize IT in carrying out academic and non-academic activities. One example of the use of IT needed in a university is the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) which is expected to help smooth information technology, especially academics. The use of SIAKAD must also be reviewed in terms of network connections, system security, access rights according to user needs, and how system developers evaluate existing business processes and infrastructure. In implementing a good SIAKAD, it is necessary to carry out an important information system audit to improve the performance of this system. The academic information system audit model can be carried out using the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) version 3 as a framework to have better.

Abstract

The process of compiling books on bookshelves at the University of Muhammadiyah Kotabumi has not been based on borrowing data. The pattern used so far is still in grouping books based on the availability of books. This sometimes makes it difficult for members who want to borrow books. The borrower must first browse through the shelves quite a lot to find the book to be borrowed. To overcome the existing problems, it is necessary to carry out book data management techniques based on the tendency of members to borrow several book items on adjacent shelves. One technique that can be used by library managers is the data mining technique with the FP-Growth algorithm. This research is intended to assist library managers in processing loan data and determining patterns for arranging the layout of books on shelves based on borrowed data. Implementation of data mining using the FP-Growth rule algorithm in the test assisted by Rapidminer tools.

Abstract

Abstrak: Teknologi informasi ialah bagian dari suatu sistem yang selalu bertumbuh sesuai dengan keperluan. Penggunaannya dalam kehidupan tiap hari menunjang bermacam peranan manusia, serta mempermudah seluruh kegiatan untuk semua pemakainya. Sistem merupakan suatu himpunan yang sama- sama berkaitan untuk mewujudkan satu kesatuan yang utuh. Sistem mengelola seluruh entitas dalam organisasi. Dengan terdapatnya sistem seluruh profesi bisa dikelola dengan baik, dengan begitu tata kelola jadi sangat berguna sebagai bagian dari manajemen sistem. Tata kelola TI ialah bagian dari tanggung jawab untuk membuat suatu gagasan atau ketentuan dalam sebuah perusahaan yang akan mendorong penggunaan teknologi informasi secara kontinu. Dalam penyusunan ini, kerangka kerja yang dipakai adalah COBIT 5 sebagai prosedur riset. COBIT 5 memakai prinsip, penerapan, perlengkapan, serta model analitis yang mengkombinasikan inovasi terkini dalam manajemen perusahaan serta teknologi manajemen, yang mempunyai standar kelas dunia guna menunjang peningkatkan kepercayaan serta nilai sistem informasi. Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi sekarang belum mengaplikasikan tata kelola dengan memanfaatkan COBIT 5 pada sistem yang ada saat ini. Tujuan penggunaan COBIT 5 dalam riset ini yaitu untuk memberikan hasil berupa penyusunan prasarana TI yang bisa membantu meningkatkan, menentukan nilai kapasitas sistem dalam organisasi, serta mewujudkan sistem di UMKO lebih maksimal dalam penggunaannya, dan bisa menjadi inovasi untuk kedepannya, penggunaan COBIT 5 akan menyempurnakan sistem serta menunjang Universitas Muhammadiyah Kotabumi mencapai visi serta misinya.
