Abstract

The change from face-to-face learning to an online learning method during a pandemic requires parents to adapt. Kindergarten students who originally studied at school are now learning more at home and parents should be more involved. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the activities of mothers while accompanying children to learn online. Research informants are two mothers who have kindergarten students. Qualitative data were obtained through interviews and observations as long as mothers accompanied students in online learning. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive analysis techniques. We found that mothers did not start and end their learning by inviting their children to pray, tended to criticize their children's work, dictate what to write and do on pictures, and erase their children's writings. On the other hand, there are mothers who give freedom to their children, even while doing other activities. Mother gave less appreciation and was in a hurry because she had to continue with work. Meanwhile, a mother needs to get self-motivated support, obedient child character, husband and family involvement, and teacher involvement. There are mothers who are visited by teachers, but some are not. Mothers encounter obstacles due to economic limitations which result in a lack of learning facilities and limited time, there are mothers who are tired because they must work, there are fathers who are involved and some are less involved, and parents do not communicate with teachers. This shows that there has not been a good partnership between parents and teachers. Fathers are expected to be more involved in assisting children in learning. Cooperation between mothers and fathers should be increased so that children can study comfortably.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the meaning and spirituality of Muhammadiyah residents, especially in the Sidoarjo area during the Covid 19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected by observing, documenting and interviewing leaders, medical personnel and Muhammadiyah residents in the Sidoarjo area. The results showed that the meaning of spirituality during the Covid-19 pandemic was a reflection of strengthening and planting religious values in life as a basic framework for strengthening faith. In the face of the Covid 19 Virus Pandemic, the practice of spiritual values does not only contain human relations to God alone, but requires a balance between scientific-oriented-based medical strengthening and faith in Allah SWT. The form of spirituality in strengthening faith for Muhammadiyah members is reflected in the social responsibility of humanity. This form of spirituality is embedded in the spirit of Al Maun's social theology by carrying out humanitarian jihad through the Muhammadiyah Covid 19 Command Center. In a sociological perspective there is a dialectic between the objective reality of Covid 19 as a real virus and must be watched out for and the subjective reality which considers that Covid 19 is an ordinary disease, the two realities form different behaviors between the Hifz Nafs principle of protecting oneself and being surrendered to the situation due to the demands of social activity. and economic needs. This public perception is formed because the Stock of Knowladge is a source of knowledge about Virus 19, humans as the host and the human environment that forms different mindsets from one another in life.

Abstract

The government made policies, namely learning from home, working from home, and worshiping at home, and implementing social distancing to reduce the spread of Covid-19. This was done because the cases experienced in Indonesia, especially continued to increase, even though for a while in several places there was a lockdown and PSBB (Large-Scale Social Restrictions), for example in DKI Jakarta and the Regional Government of Central Java had made a policy on February 6-7 to stay in home alone. The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on almost all aspects of life. The stress experienced by workers will affect their emotions, thought processes, and their physical condition. The factors that trigger stress at work are the uncertainty of the situation when the pandemic ends, economic problems, salary cuts, or layoffs. The purpose of this study is to gather information through literature studies related to stress management in social entrepreneurs during the pandemic. This research method uses a systematic literature review by summarizing the results of previous studies. The results of the literature review conducted show that social entrepreneurship adheres more to social values and social welfare, where this arises because of a greater desire to help the community's economy, so that volunteerism to achieve goals can be used as coping stress to manage stress.

Therefore, the authors propose to hold training on early detection of mental disorders to community groups in the Panembahan and Patehan areas in the Kraton sub-district, Yogyakarta. This is because there are quite a lot of mental disorders in the area. This training is provided by involving experts in the health sector. psychologists and psychiatrists as well as policy observers. It is planned to be given four times. The hope is that it can help the community improve the mental health of their area by opening a network with the Puskesmas, becoming a Puskesmas program that can reduce the vulnerability of the local community. This program is also expected to contribute more broadly to reducing the level of mental disorders in the Yogyakarta City / DIY area by advocating for the Yogyakarta City Health Office and the Yogyakarta City Parliament.

The purpose of this study was to develop an instrument for the closeness of children with their parents. Proximity describes the form of a reciprocal relationship, namely mutual influence between parents and children. Aspects of closeness are emotional bonding, openness, the role of parents, respect, support, and figure. The scale development stage begins with collecting theories regarding the general closeness and closeness of children to parents. This sample uses a snowball random sampling technique. The development of instrument items is based on expert judgment using a Likert scale. The item design of the instrument consists of 75 statement items. Then after analyzing the assessment by the expert by determining the scale value and quality of the statement items, 20 selected statement items were produced. In the development, the researchers used respondents in the form of adolescents aged 16-19 years with the number of successfully collected n = 80. Researchers used validity and reliability tests to determine whether the items made were valid and reliable. The results of this study found Cronbach's alpha with a total of 20 items of 0.917.
