<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the meaning of several dictions in a text that deals with it. The source of the data used in this study in the text of a poem entiled Sukma Pujangga by J.E Tatengkeng. The aspect that must be investigated is analyzing the meaning of the 6 dictions in the poetry text of Sukma Pujangga. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that from several dictions that have been analyzed, it can be seen from the meaning of the poem that it describes someone who has a very high artistic spirit and is willing to make any effort to maintain his desires and stance. He doesn’t want to live for other people and just wants to be free to do whatever he wants and achieve his dreams even though he has to go through various obstacles. There are several meanings contained in the poem, including: connotative meaning, contextual meaning, abstract words, and special words.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to discuss the hidden meaning in the text of the poem "Padamu Jua" by Amir Hamzah through discussion and exposure in terms of Hermeneutics and also examines interesting diction in the text of the poem. The hermeneutical theory is used to interpret the meaning of the poem. This study also uses a descriptive qualitative research model. The data subject of this study is a literary work of poetry with research data in the form of quoted words whose meaning and diction are analyzed using a hermeutical approach. Diction is word choice. That is, we choose the right words to convey an idea and accuracy. The role of diction in poetry is very important because in poetry words are everything. In fact, for the type of imaginary poetry as stated by Sapardi Djoko Damono. The data collection technique in this article is the first to analyze the meaning of perbait with a hermeneutical approach, the second to analyze and look for the interesting diction in the poem "Padamu Jua" by Amir Hamzah and the third to present the data results in descriptive form.]]>

<![CDATA[Obituaries are one of the information that is often conveyed, especially in the Whatsapp application media. Delivering an obituary is even recommended in Islam and a response in the form of expressions of condolences also accompanies this recommendation. However, a phenomenon occurred in the form of using stickers in expressions of condolences. This gives rise to different views about whether it is polite or not. This study aims to analyze the meaning of the condolence sticker from the point of view of language politeness by using a qualitative descriptive method. From the point of view of semiotics, the use of stickers to convey condolences has fulfilled the function of communication. Meanwhile, according to politeness theory, this is not justified. The majority of scholars also consider the use of stickers to convey condolences is also a waste of time.]]>

<![CDATA[The existence of a good and correct use of Indonesian has now faded. This is because most teenagers use slang in their daily activities, including in the learning process activities. This study aimed to describe the phenomenon of the influence and impact of the use of slang on the use of Indonesian among adolescents. This research used was literature review method with literature study. The literature search method used was the keywords “Slang”, “Alay Language”, “Impact”, “Indonesian”, “Teenagers”. The data base used for reference in this research is Google Scholar and Portal Garuda.The analysis used was a narrative presented in the form of a description. The use of slang among teenagers has become commonplace and the majority of teenagers use slang in doing their daily activities. The existence of this had an impact on the existence of the decline in the use of Indonesian, difficulty in communicating, affects the way of learning and the learning process. In the learning process, the use of good and correct Indonesian should be emphasized given the many factors that cause the lack of existence of Indonesian.]]>

<![CDATA[This study will discuss the analysis of aspects contained in the poem "Sawah" by Sanusi Pane using a stylistic approach. The analyzed aspects are language style, diction, figure of speech, and imagery to determine the aesthetic value and foster a national sense of the poem. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with a stylistic approach. The style of language, diction, figure of speech, and the imagery of a literary work are born from one's thoughts through the steps of contemplation and appreciation of something. In literary works, aesthetic value is a value based on the beauty that previous visitors have made with the work. In the poem "Sawah" by Sanusi Pane, the author uses a lot of language style and connotative meanings in his poetry which aims to assess the aesthetics or meaning contained in each line.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to describe the language style, meaning, and figure of speech contained in the book collection of poetry Perjamuan Khong Guan by Joko Pinurbo. The research approach used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approachThe data collection techniques used in this study were literature techniques and note-taking techniques in the form of words, phrases, lines, and poetry stanzas. The results of this study indicate that there are rhetorical and figurative language styles from the 10 poems that the researcher took. The style of language that often appears or is dominantly used in the collection of poetry Perjamuan Khong Guan by Joko Pinurbo is a figurative language style. The style of language is dominated by the use of language styles consisting of personification and metaphorical figure of speech.]]>

<![CDATA[This article discusses the hidden meaning of the poem by Marah Roesli. This discussion aims to better understand the reader about the content of the poem. The poem "Syair Rindu" is one of the poems that has such a deep meaning if it is interpreted because it contains the meaning of romanticism. Marah Roesli is an Indonesian writer from the Balai Pustaka group, or the literary period that emerged during the Dutch colonial period in the 1920s to 1930s. <![CDATA[This article contains a stylistic analysis of the lyrics of the song “Asmalibrasi” by Soegi Bornean. The discussion of this article focuses on the aspects of connotative diction and the use of figure of speech in the lyrics. The research method used to analyze the lyrics of the song is a qualitative descriptive method. The data analysis techniques used in this study are (1) selecting data; (2) code; (3) classifying data; (4) data description; and (5) data interpretation. The object of this research is the lyrics of the song "Asmalibrasi" by Soegi Bornean. From the analysis carried out, it shows that the diction contained in the lyrics of the song is mostly connotative. The connotative diction that is widely used in the lyrics of the song is a manifestation of the songwriter's creativity when creating the lyrics to his songs. In addition, the lyrics of the song also use a lot of figure of speech including, metaphorical figure of speech, allegorical figure of speech and hyperbole figure of speech.]]>

<![CDATA[Language is the identity of a country or region that is used as the main communication tool. Everyone needs language when interacting, expressing ideas and opinions and other social relationships. In its development, the use of Indonesian began to shift to be replaced by the use of the language of teenagers, one of which was the use of the word bestie. The use of the word bestie is not only used by teenagers, not infrequently educated people also use this bestie language, both in oral and written form, both in formal and non-formal times, resulting in the use of language being bad and incorrect so that it will have an impact on the existence of the Indonesian language. It would be nice if we can use good and correct Indonesian, so that the existence of Indonesian as the national language is maintained. Indonesian is the language of unity, so as Indonesian people who care and respect their national language, we must maintain and help preserve our language, namely Indonesian. If we have used good and correct Indonesian, people around us will be infected directly.]]>
