Abstract

This study aims to determine the values ​​of character education in the novel Eiffel Cooking Battle and the relevance of these characters to Civics learning materials for grade 4 elementary schools. This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Methods of data collection is done by using interviews and documentation. Sources of data taken from two data sources, namely primary data sources and secondary data sources. Primary data sources come from the novel Eiffel Cooking Battle by Zakiyah Artanti and Class 4 Thematic Textbooks Theme 1 Sub Themes 1 and 3. Secondary data sources come from interviews with expert lecturers in the field of character education and practitioners who already have a professional teacher competency certificate. The result of study indicate that there is a relevance between character education in the novel and the learning materials for grade 4 elementary school. Four character educations in the novel including religious, honest, disciplined and social care have relevance to the Civics class 4 learning material. Religious character education has relevance to the subject matter of ethnic, social and cultural diversity in Indonesia theme 1 sub theme 1 which instills religious character education such as being grateful for ethnic and cultural differences in Indonesia. Honest, disciplined and socially caring character education has relevance to the subject matter, examples of cooperation in diversity in theme 1, sub-theme 3, which instills the value of character education by providing examples of its application through illustrations or stories.

Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of education of the Indonesian nation in accordance with the ideals of the nation stated in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution, to realize the general welfare and intelligence of the nation's life, education has an important role in increasing piety to God Almighty. Teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing and evaluating students in early childhood education through formal education, basic education and secondary education. Optimizing this requires special attention, namely implementing a reward and punishment strategy for teachers. The method used is Planning, Action, Observation, and Reflection which is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle has 2 observation meetings. The respondents of this study were 6 affiliated teachers at SD N Jolosutro. The results showed that the pre-cycle teacher discipline assessment of 15 there were 8 indicators (53.3%) that had reached the criteria of success indicators and there were 7 indicators (46.7%) that had not been completed. Observations in cycle 1, meetings 1 and 2 show that meeting 1 obtained a score of 72.8% which is still below the minimum criteria, while the second meeting has met the criteria for success indicators, which is 75.7%. However, the level of discipline is still lacking so it is still need to be re-observed. Observations in the second cycle of meeting 1 obtained a value of 81.9% while the second meeting also obtained a value of 87.2%. The application of reward and punishment carried out by measuring discipline indicators can improve teacher discipline in teaching classes at SD N Jolosutro

Abstract

Education in primary schools plays a role in efforts to produce responsible youth. Many parties pay great attention to that basic education is a bridge for efforts to increase the development of the nation's human resources. There are several methods that can be applied in learning to support the improvement of human resources. One method that is considered effective and efficient is applied in science learning, namely songs. Songs make learning fun, and make it easier for students to accept the material presented by the teacher. This study will observe the use of song media in improving student learning outcomes. The methods used are (1) planning, (2) action, 3) observation, (4) reflection or evaluation of fifth grade students in science subjects. The results of the observation before the action was taken. As many as 10 students (41.67%) had reached the KKM, while 14 students (58.33%) had not yet reached the KKM. After observing meetings 1 and 2 there are students whose learning activities get very good criteria at meetings 1 and 2 are 1 child with a percentage of 4% each, while children who get good criteria are 6 students (25%) and have increased to 7 students (29%). The criteria is sufficient there are 10 students (42%) and decreased to 9 students (38%). The criteria for less did not change the data at meetings 1 and 2 with a total of 7 students (29%). Evaluation of students in meeting 1 who got a minimum score of 70 there were only 11 students with a percentage of 45.83%, while at meeting 2 there were 13 students who achieved the minimum completeness criteria with a percentage of 54.17%, resulting in an increase in the passing rate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif Picture and Picture berbantuan media Alphabet Spinner terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan siswa kelas I. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Pre-Experimental Design, dengan model One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 21 siswa yang dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes unjuk kerja. Tes unjuk kerja ini digunakan untuk mengukur sejauh mana siswa dalam keterampilan membaca permulaan sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan. Adapun analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Paired Sampel T-Test dengan program SPSS Versi 25.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Kooperatif Picture and Picture berbantuan media Alphabet Spinner berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan. Hal tersebut didukung dengan adanya uji hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan uji Paired Sampel T- Test diperoleh Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (0,000<0,005). Hasil dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Picture and Picture berbantuan Media Alphabet Spinner berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan.

Abstract

Intelligence develops according to the environment that influences an individual. Then it is this intelligence that makes the difference between one individual and another. This intelligence is important in life because basically humans cannot live alone. Humans are social creatures who are always in contact with other people. Relationships with people around, of course, communicate with each other which is the basis for interaction between individuals because basically communication is very intertwined with interpersonal relationships. However, it is unfortunate that children's interpersonal intelligence is still very low, due to a lack of interaction with peers, teachers, and the environment, so they feel isolated. People who are belittled have negative characteristics such as being aggressive, difficult to cooperate with, and a lack of sympathy and empathy. That way it is necessary to do a research in order to improve and realize preventive efforts. The purpose of this study was to implement the Science, Environment, Technology, Society (SETS) model for the development of interpersonal intelligence in grade IV students in science learning. The research method used in this study was quantitative with a pre-experimental approach with fourth grade students at Balerejo State Elementary School. Based on the results of the research and discussion, students must establish good relationships with other people, have a sense of empathy and sympathy and be able to maintain good friendships with friends. That way, it is highly recommended for teachers to develop interpersonal intelligence by applying model sets.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode outdoor learning terhadap motivasi belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Rejowinangun Utara 6. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Pra eksperimen dengan model One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian dipilih menggunakan total sampling. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 25 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket. Uji validitas menggunakan validitas isi yang dilakukan dengan validator berupa dosen dan guru kelas. Uji prasyarat analisis terdiri dari uji normalitas menggunakan bantuan SPSS Statistic for windows 25.0. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik parametrik yaitu Uji Pired Sample T-Test berbantuan program IBM Statistic for windows SPSS 25.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode outdoor learning berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil analisis Uji Pired Sample T-Test dengan probabilitas nilai sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan, terdapat perbedaan skor yaitu 7,72 dari rata-rata pretest sebesar 73.08 dan posttest sebesar 80,8. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode outdoor learning berpengaruh positif terhadap motivasi belajar IPS

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penanaman karakter disiplin siswa di SD Kartika XII-1 serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penanamannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu sumber data primer dan sekunder. Sumber data primer yaitu kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa sedangkan sumber data sekunder berupa data-data yang memberikan informasi tentang penanaman karakter disiplin siswa di SD Kartika XII-1. Keabsahan data dilihat melalui triangulasi data yaitu triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik, dan triangulasi waktu. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis yang dikembangkan oleh Milles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman karakter disiplin siswa di SD Kartika XII-1 dilakukan melalui 1) Integrasi dalam pembelajaran yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi, 2) kegiatan di luar pembelajaran yang dilakukan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan kokurikuler, 3) pembiasaan yang dilakukan di dalam kelas dan di luar kelas, 4) keteladanan dari kepala sekolah dan guru. Terdapat faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam penanaman karakter disiplin siswa di sekolah dasar. Faktor pendukung dalam penanaman karakter disiplin yaitu adanya keinginan dalam diri guru untuk menjadikan siswanya memiliki kedisiplinan yang baik, SD Kartika XII-1 berada di lingkungan akademi militer juga menjadi pendukung dalam menanamkan karakter disiplin siswa. Sedangkan faktor penghambat dalam penanaman karakter disiplin siswa adalah karena kemampuan siswa yang berbeda-beda sehingga menjadi salah satu tantangan guru dalam menanamkannya

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas V SD Kristen 2 Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Pre-Experimental Design dengan model One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design. Subjek penelitian dipilih secara Non Random Sampling model total sampling. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Kristen 2 Magelang dengan jumlah 9 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes. Uji validitas instrumen tes dilakukan oleh expert judgment dengan rumus pearson dan dengan bantuan IMB SPSS 20. Uji Reliabilitas menggunakan cornbach’s alpha dengan bantuan IMB SPSS 20. Selain itu peneliti menggunakan uji tingkat kesukaran dan tingkat daya pembeda. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistic non-parametic yaitu uji Wilcoxon Test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan rata-rata nilai tes post-test dengan skor 79,00 yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan hasil rata-rata nilai tes pre-test dengan skor 50,11. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil analisis Wilcoxon Test yang menunjukkan sebesar -2,887 dengan nilai signifikan 0,004 < 0,05 yang artinya ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test dengan menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPS.
