Abstract

Training entrepreneurial skills from an early age is about creating young entrepreneurs and forming individuals with a proactive, confident, independent, and resilient attitude in facing the challenges of the times. So efforts to introduce and train entrepreneurship skills at the basic level are a long-term investment in sustainable social, economic, and individual development. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach through the literature study method to explain the implementation activities of the P5 project in training entrepreneurship skills for students in elementary schools. Data collection was collected by collecting references from various sources relevant to the research topic. Data analysis was carried out by critically and deeply examining the library sources that had been obtained, then synthesizing and concluding. This research shows that the P5 project with the theme of entrepreneurship is a forum for entrepreneurship training activities for students. Entrepreneurship activities in elementary schools are very varied, including market day, culinary corner, bazaar, cooking day, trade stand, and work title. This activity encourages students to practice becoming entrepreneurs and instills independent, creative, innovative, and tough characters in students. So, it can be concluded that the P5 project with the theme of entrepreneurship at the elementary school level not only introduces the concept of entrepreneurship and teaches basic entrepreneurial skills but also focuses more on cultivating positive attitudes or characters towards entrepreneurship from an early age.

Abstract

The research aims to understand the relevance of studying social sciences in addressing current issues such as climate change and global conflicts like forced migration and group discrimination. The research uses the literature study method. Data collection is conducted by searching for and reading several books and articles related to social phenomena and current issues to be discussed. The knowledge obtained is then recorded and the relationships between them are sought, resulting in comprehensive research. Research results lead to the thought that social sciences have a crucial position and play an important role as an education that can change societal mindset and awareness. By studying social science thinkers, we can see that there are distinctive characteristics and patterns of a society. Additionally, we can identify and capture the problems existing within that society. Furthermore, studying social sciences provides the understanding that social life is dynamic. Social life is always experiencing movement and change. This is what makes social sciences relevant to study, as they encourage us to continuously observe and critically monitor everything happening within society. Further research is expected to develop the analysis to produce broader and more critical insights.

Abstract

The lecture method continues to be used in the PAI learning process due to its widespread use in Indonesian education. The study employs a qualitative approach. Teachers of Islamic Religious Education from a variety of SMP/MTs schools located throughout the city of Medan served as the study's subjects. The subject of the study, on the other hand, is the persistence of the lecture method for comprehending Islamic Religious Education lessons as well as the reasons for its continued use. Techniques like observation, interviews, and documentation were used to collect data. The teacher's understanding of the situation and needs of the students is the reason that the lecture method is used to understand Islamic Religious Education lessons at the SMP/MTs level in Medan City. The lecture method is applied by combining other methods, the initial method of introducing a material, and inadequate school facilities are the teacher's choice to use the lecture method. The most unique reason is that the student's family has a broken home, so the teacher must provide material to the students using the lecture method. Questions and answers, group demonstrations, and presentations are all part of the teacher's process of surviving the lecture method. Combining the lecture method with other methods makes it more appealing to students.

Abstract

In the current era, technology is developing rapidly.  Technology is used in relation to media to convey information and can help build students' knowledge.  Technology in learning can be utilised by applying Virtual Reality (VR) technology.  One of them is Virtual Biotourism via VR in Biology learning.  Virtual tourism can be used in independent curriculum learning as an idea for teachers to present and deliver lessons that will attract more students' interest in participating in learning and improve the quality of learning.  The aim of preparing this article is to discover the application of VR in biology learning in the digital era and the application of Virtual Biotourism through VR in Biology learning.  This research uses the Literature Review method by collecting and analysing data from several existing research journal sources.  The research results are the result of an analysis of 4 research journals regarding the use of VR.  From the results of the analysis, virtual reality technology is effectively applied in biology learning in this digital era because it can help teachers provide visualisations or descriptions of the material presented in the learning process so that students can understand it more easily.

Abstract

The activity of news writing is part of the productive language skills practice in the Merdeka Curriculum. However, in practice, writing errors in students' news texts still cause information confusion. This study aims to minimize these issues by evaluating the effectiveness of the Think-Talk-Write method aided by Google Docs. The research utilizes a quantitative experimental method, implementing one Group Pre-test and Post-test design. The steps include problem identification, hypothesis formulation, data collection & testing, hypothesis testing, and data interpretation. The intervention population consists of 40 samples from Class 7C of SMP Negeri 5 Cimahi. The students' news text scores and related comprehension were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including score tabulation, the Shapiro-Wilk test, Levene’s test, and the T-Student test. The study revealed that this method of intervention resulted in better student writing. The trial showed an average student writing skill score increase of over 20%, with the highest final score being 95 out of 100. The p-value in the final test was 0.013, with a significance level of 0.05 and CI 95% = (75.197, 76.603). These findings demonstrate that the Think-Talk-Write method aided by Google Docs, as part of the AI ecosystem, significantly improved students' news writing skills. Therefore, this method is adivised for application in the learning process.

Abstract

The research carried out aims to determine the influence that learning facilities and learning independence have on learning outcomes in the Office Management Concentration subject located at SMKN 10 Surabaya. This research uses a quantitative approach method. The population of this research was all students in class. Next, the researcher carried out data analysis using the multiple regression method, resulting in research results in the form of (1) There is a significant influence on learning facilities on partial learning outcomes, (2) There is a significant influence on learning independence on partial learning outcomes, (3) There is a significant influence on learning facilities and learning independence on learning outcomes simultaneously.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of concentration and interest in learning on student learning outcomes in Mathematics learning in class IV of Rengas Condong 13/I State Elementary School. Quantitative research methods (ex post facto) and purposive sampling techniques are the sampling techniques used by researchers, with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaire instruments. The research results explain: 1) the partial test results of X1 against Y found tcount > ttable, namely 5.297 > 2.086 and the Sig value 0.000 < 0.05 with a percentage of 58.4% (moderate category); 2) the partial test results of X2 against Y found tcount > ttable, namely 5.409 > 2.086 and the Sig value 0.000 < 0.05 with a percentage of 59.4% (moderate category); 3) the results of the simultaneous test X1 and X2 againts Y ound that Fcount > Ftable, namely 19.917 > 3.522 and the Sig value 0.000 < 0.05 with a percentage of 67.7% (moderate category). The results of hypothesis testing from this research reveal that concentration and interest in learning influence student learning outcomes in Mathematics learning in class IV SDN 13/I Rengas Condong.

Abstract

Application of learning models that are less than optimal when learning activities take place can result in a lack of a sense of mutual cooperation among students, in addition to resulting in students being less able to develop their creative attitudes. Because in conventional learning, learning is teacher-centered. One learning model that can be used to increase students' creative and mutual cooperation dimensions is by using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model because this PjBL model is a student-centred learning model and can produce a project. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method. This research aims to improve students' creative attitudes and also increase the sense of mutual cooperation with friends through ecobrik-making activities. In this research, there are 6 stages of learning in the Project-based Learning (PjBL) model. Of the six activity stages, there were 4 stages that got very good results and 2 stages that got good results. In the mutual cooperation dimension, maximum results are obtained because the activity of making eco-bricks requires an attitude of cooperation between students and each other. The creative dimension still needs to be improved. The subjects of this research were fourth-grade students at one of the elementary schools in Sleman Regency. In this ecobrik-making activity, it is hoped that they can slightly reduce or deal with the waste in the environment around them, both in the school environment and the home environment. This is in accordance with Ki Hajar Dewantara's teachings, namely Tri N, Niteni, Nirokke, and Nambahi. Niteni, namely, students understand the explanation that has been given by the teacher, nirokke, students can do things that have been conveyed and taught previously by the teacher and addition, namely, students can add to the results that have been made earlier by adding creativity from students
