Abstract

The typical environmental conditions of the coast of Kalibuntu Village which are not kept clean, as well as frequent tidal floods in this area make the level of environmental health in Kalibuntu Village problematic. The flood caused the water in the rivers and wells of the residents to become cloudy, accompanied by the spread of garbage everywhere. In terms of elderly health, residents rely on the presence of the polindes as the fastest and easiest access to health services that are closest and financially affordable. From our collaboration with the Polindes and the Posyandu service for the elderly, the elderly in this village are quite vulnerable to respiratory diseases, stroke, cholesterol, gout, and high blood pressure. This disease is triggered by unhealthy environmental conditions and lack of ability to meet daily nutritional and nutritional needs. To help the elderly's health efforts, it is inseparable from the role of the family. From a societal perspective, the family is the basic system by which health and care behaviors are regulated, practiced, and carried out. With this condition the community service team decided to carry out a series of social activities with the aim of 1) Compiling a set of social activities to conduct an Early Examination of the Health Conditions of the Elderly, and 2) Compiling a set of social activities to conduct Socialization of Elderly Care, "Healthy Elderly", to Families elderly. This activity is expected to provide benefits in the form of: 1) Meeting the need for factual and "by the time" data regarding health conditions and health problems of the elderly, 2) Data can be used by health workers and local health policy makers to take anticipatory actions to avoid problems greater health care or responsive actions to immediately address the health problems of the elderly, 3) Socialization activities are intended to provide education for elderly families about the importance of alertness and knowledge of the health of the elderly, 4) Socialization activities are expected to be able to significantly ease the task of health workers and caregivers health policy in Kalibuntu Village, Kraksaan, Probolinggo.

Abstract

This English lesson is taught because it is considered that early childhood is easy to catch new things. The digital age demands, all in English, also encourage children to learn foreign languages and supplement local content at the elementary school level. However, at Elementary School Cibogo, Tugu Jaya Village, Cigombong District, English lessons are still not going well due to the lack of educators (teachers) who master English, so students are still very unfamiliar with English. English tutoring and making Spinning Wheel learning media for English subjects are one of the efforts to assist teachers in conveying English material efficiently to students and introducing English to students. The method of implementing the service consists of the stages of preparation, implementation, and evaluation/reflection of activities. Supporting techniques for the preparation of community service reports are written using techniques, namely observation, and interviews. After the application of the Spinning Wheel media in grade 4 resulted in students becoming enthusiastic when the English learning process took place, it was seen that the students often asked questions about various vocabularies that they did not know. In conclusion, students will be enthusiastic if there is a learning media because it will attract their attention, and this Spinning Wheel is also enough to help teachers. However, teachers also need to deepen the English material).

Abstract

The development of technology and information requires teachers to prepare online-based teaching materials for students. This is so that learning can not only be done in class but can be accessed at any time by students. This workshop activity aims to improve the ability of teachers in compiling interactive mathematics e-modules to support learning. The target of this workshop activity is a discussion group for mathematics subject teachers as many as 40 people who come from SMP/MTS Bengkulu City. Implementation of activities consists of: training, assignment, and evaluation. The results of the activity there is an increase in teacher knowledge in designing online teaching materials based on pretest and posttest data. The teacher's response after attending the workshop was good. Based on the activities carried out, it is very necessary for the school to hold training on the development of interactive teaching materials on an ongoing basis. Abstract

This effort to maintain the mental health of pregnant women is a form of activity during the COVID-19 pandemic to help pregnant women have mental readiness to face childbirth by increasing knowledge and skills and reducing maternal stress. This activity is carried out in the form of providing education and therapeutic exercises to reduce stress. The activity lasted for 6 months which was carried out through class sessions and home visits to respondents. The results of the activity showed that there was an average increase in respondents' knowledge of 24.96%, 24 respondents who experienced a decrease in post-activity stress and 34 people (80.95%) who were skilled at doing the therapy that was taught. Further programs are needed to ensure the mental health of pregnant women so that they are not only physically healthy but also mentally healthy.

Abstract

The amount of coffee husk waste has the potential as a pollutant in the environment if it is not managed properly. Making compost made from coffee husk as organic fertilizer is an effort that can be done to reduce the impact caused by coffee husk waste and at the same time as an effort to improve soil quality. This socialization activity aims to provide awareness and understanding of the impact of coffee skin waste and at the same time how to utilize the waste. This activity was carried out in the Social Forestry Business group (KUPS) Register Lima in Tebat Pulau Village, Bermani ulu sub-district, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. Methods of counseling and interactive discussions through the zoom meeting application. After this socialization activity was carried out, there was an increase in public awareness and understanding regarding the use of leather waste in improving soil quality.

Abstract

Edukasi tentang kesehatan reproduksi wanita sangat penting agar wanita selalu menjaga kondisi kesehatan reproduksinya, mulai dari anak-anak, remaja, dewasa, istri maupun ibu sampai kondisi perempuan tersebut memasuki masa menopause, agar wanita berperilaku hidup sehat, khususnya dalam menjaga organ reproduksinya sehingga tidak timbul masalah yang mengganggu kesehatannya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pemberian edukasi tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan reproduksi d pada wanita usia subur. Kegiatan berlangsung selama 1 hari yang dilakukan menggunakan media video. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pretes pengetahuan adalah 61.55 sementara pada saat postes meningkat menjadi 74.63. hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perubahan pengetahuan yang signifikan setelah kegiatan edukasi. Diperlukan edukasi yang lebih intensif lagi kepada wanita usia subur untuk menjaga reproduksinya

Abstract

Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) merupakan salah satu pendorong untuk meningkatkan perekonomian nasional dan sumber penciptaan lapangan kerja yang ada di Indonesia. Adanya Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat membuat munculnya persaingan pasar semakin ketat, dengan peralihan pemasaran konvensional ke media online. Salah satu daerah yang memiliki banyak pelaku UMKM adalah di Kelurahan Bendo, Kepanjen Kidul, Blitar. Masalah yang dihadapi pelaku UMKM disana adalah minimnya informasi mengenai pemanfaatan teknologi pemasaran produk ataupun jasa yang dipasarkan. Akibatnya mereka tidak tau bagaimana memasarkan produk yang baik agar mendapatkan konsumen yang tepat. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah melakukan sosialisasi mengenai digital marketing dan praktek penggunaan e-commerce Shopee secara tepat agar usaha mereka menjadi lebih produktif dan dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Abstract

Jenisgelaran Village has many MSMEs that have the potential to be developed to become typical products of the village. One of them is Goat Tawa which is Etawa goat's milk business. These products are in great demand by the public and quite well known so that buyers also come from outside Bareng District. The efforts to develop and advance this MSME such as updating the design on the bottle packaging as well as the product logo and the correct procedure for milking Etawa goats so that the resulting product has the same quality and taste and is sterile. From the training carried out, it resulted in new bottle packaging designs and logos and the Etawa goat milk MSME actors applied the correct milking procedure.

Abstract

Garbage is a problem that is often faced by the people of Jenisgelaran Village, Bareng District, Jombang Regency. Due to the absence of a proper landfill (TPA), people litter and can cause garbage to accumulate. So that the solution that can be given to the community is to use the waste into organic fertilizer. By making appropriate technology tools in the form of composters that will convert organic waste on a household scale into liquid and solid organic fertilizer. For the manufacture of composter tools, the community is given socialization about the manufacturing procedure to its benefits, composter tools are made on a home scale so that they can be easily applied by the community. Socialization which is a community service program is carried out by providing guide modules, counseling to the provision of one composter tool as an example to the community. The existence of this activity is expected to provide knowledge to the community so that they can process household organic waste into organic fertilizer. It can also provide relief to the community in saving costs to buy fertilizer.

Abstract

Vegetable cultivation is a sector that is quite a lot in the agricultural sector. Blitar sub-district, Sukorejo sub-district has a women farmer group (kwt) named KWT Raharjo Mukti, and focuses on vegetable cultivation and sales of these vegetables. This raharjo mukti women farmer group has the potential to advance in the field of cultivation, but the limited knowledge of cultivation and the continuity of cultivation as well as the limitations of its marketing are obstacles in the process of cultivation and production of its commodities, so it is necessary to give a little direction so that they can devote their knowledge to the community, through community development in the village. Blitar. The long-term goals of the program are: (1) Encouraging the growth of motivation and creativity of kwt Raharjo Mukti in the process of cultivating horticultural crops so as to increase production,(2) Assisting the potential of kwt Raharjo Mukti in developing cultivation with maximum production, and (3) Helping kwt Raharjo Mukti in solving problems in cultivation, in order to build a better Blitar village. The specific target to be achieved is the production of several types of quality vegetables and processed for the Blitar Village
