Abstract

Maternal mortality in pregnant women 17.52% occurred during pregnancy. One of the illnesses in pregnant women is anemia which can cause maternal death due to bleeding during delivery. Knowledge of pregnant women about anemia and nutrients rich in iron and folic acid during pregnancy are needed to ensure a good pregnancy and influence hemoglobin levels. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about anemia so that they can change their behavior in preventing and overcoming anemia. The method used is the lecture method and using flipcharts aimed at pregnant women at the Gerung Utara Polindes, Pohdana Village. The counseling that is carried out is an activity or effort to convey information about anemia to pregnant women, including the definition, causes, risk factors, signs and symptoms, impacts, and handling/prevention of anemia in pregnant women. To monitor the increase in knowledge of pregnant women, used pre and post-test. The results show a significant increase in participants' insight and understanding. There was an increase in the average knowledge of pregnant women about anemia from 5.93 to 7.80. Suggestions for health centers and health observers, especially pregnant women, are to provide more information about the health of pregnant women with various media so that pregnant women get the correct information and indirectly prevent risks to mothers and babies. Abstract

Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) mempunyai peran penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi nasional, oleh karena berperan dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penyerapan tenaga kerja. Kasus kegawatdaruratan yang sering terjadi pada pekerja di tempat kerja salah satunya adalah luka robek. Kejadian kegawatdaruratan di tempat kerja dapat terjadi sewaktu-waktu sehingga perlu adanya kesiapan baik peralatan dan kemampuan dalam penanganan awal kegawatdaruratan sebelum dibawa ke fasilitas kesehatan. Berdasarkan analisais situasi yang dilakukan terhadap mitra adalah karyawan Home Industry Shuttlecock di Desa Sumber Porong Kecamatan Lawang didapatkan beberapa permasalahan, antara lain keterbatasan tenaga kerja yang harus terlatih di bidangnya, keterbatasan pengetahuan terutama di bidang kecelakaan kerja, dan pelaksanaan teknis pekerjaan sebagian besar pengusaha home industry shuttlecock belum memenuhi standar keamanan kerja dimana dalam industri ini seringkali terjadi kecelakaan kerja terutama dalam proses pengolahan bahan baku. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan keterampilan penggunaan emergency kit dasar untuk penanganan awal kegawatdaruratan kecelakaan kerja pada home industry shuttlecock. Metode yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pekerja dan pemilik home industry shuttlecock adalah melalui pelatihan penanganan awal kegawatdaruratan kecelakaan kerja dan bantuan list set alat kegawatdaruratan kecelakaan kerja beserta fungsinya. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah karyawan Home Industry Shuttlecock di Desa Sumber Porong Kecamatan Lawang sebanyak 10 orang. Penyuluhan dan demonstrasi efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang penggunaan emergency kit dasar untuk kegawatdaruratan.

Abstract

The prevalence of breast cancer in women of childbearing age is increasing. This is reinforced by women's ignorance of Breast Self-Examination. The purpose of this activity is to increase women's knowledge about breast cancer and breast self-examination in order to reduce the prevalence of breast cancer. This activity was carried out for one day at Panti Waluya Sawahan Hospital, Malang with 20 respondents, with the method of providing health education which was previously given a pre-test to measure the knowledge of the respondents. After being given education by means of leaflets, demonstrations and discussions, then the respondents were re-measured their knowledge with a post test. The results obtained from this activity are, before the counseling, it was found that most of the respondents had sufficient knowledge, while after that, it was found that all respondents had good knowledge. This health education activity is included in health promotion efforts to form motivation and skills which are further useful in increasing self-efficacy in early detection of breast cancer. It is proven that counseling about breast self-examination can increase knowledge and insight of all women of childbearing age with knowledge levels in the good category.

Abstract

WHO said that adolescence is a period of rapid physical, cognitive, and psychosocial growth [2]. The physical growth of this teenager is marked by menstruation as the beginning of entering the puberty process [3]. Menstruation is regular bleeding from the uterus as a sign that the uterine organs are functioning properly. At this time the uterine blood vessels are very susceptible to infection and can cause diseases of the reproductive tract, urinary tract infections, and skin irritation, therefore cleanliness must be maintained [1,3]. Based on the results of research in 2019 at SMPN 3 Kuripan it was found that the level of knowledge of most of the VII and VIII grade students about personal hygiene during menstruation was still lacking [6]. Partners already have a UKS unit, but the students have never received information about personal hygiene during menstruation either from the local health service agency or the school. Based on the problems above, community service "Self-hygiene counseling during menstruation for students of SMPN 3 Kuripan" was carried out. This community service partner is the Principal of SMPN 3 Kuripan along with the student body and UKS officers. The distance between STIKes Yarsi Mataram and SMPN 3 Kuripan is 18.5 km. This community service uses the counseling method. Counseling begins with a pre-test and ends with a post-test. The measurement of students' knowledge level was done using a questionnaire. The counseling was carried out using a question and answer lecture method. Counseling on personal hygiene during menstruation to students of SMPN 3 Kuripan was able to increase students' knowledge about menstruation and personal hygiene during menstruation from 78% with sufficient knowledge to 60.3% with good knowledge. It is hoped that schools will continue to collaborate with health education institutions or health service agencies in an effort to apply personal hygiene behavior during menstruation at SMPN 3 Kuripan. Abstract

Coronavirus-19 (COVID) telah dinyatakan sebagai pandemi dunia oleh WHO (WHO,2020). Presiden Republik Indonesia telah menyatakan status penyakit ini menjadi tahap Tanggap Darurat pada tanggal 17 Maret 2020. Pengetahuan terkait pencegahan dan penanganan COVID-19 perlu di sebar luaskan untuk menekan angka penyebaran COVID-19 mengingat peyebaran virus ini antar manusia ke manusia. Kejadian COVID-19 di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) juga mengalami kenaikan yang signifikan sejak diumumkannya kasus positif pertama pada tanggal 24 Maret 2020. Hingga 21 April 2020, kasus COVID-19 di NTB adalah 108 orang dengan 11 orang dinyatakan sembuh dan 4 orang meninggal dunia. Adapun sebaran kejadian tiap kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat adalah Kota Mataram 43 kasus, Kabupaten Lombok Timur 19 kasus, Kabupaten Lombok Barat 11 kasus, Kabupaten Bima 9 kasus, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah dan Kabupaten Sumbawa masing-masing 9 kasus, Kabupaten Lombok Utara 3 kasus, Kota Bima 2 kasus, serta Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat dan Kabupaten Dompu masing-masing 1 kasus (Pemprov NTB. 2020). .Efek yang di timbulkan oleh virus ini biasanya relatif tidak membahayakan namun akan sangat berbahaya jika terinfeksi pada agregat balita, anak-anak dan lansia mengingat sistem imun dari masing-masing agregat tersebut belum sempurna dan telah terjadi degenerasi pada agregat lansia. Oleh karena itu perlu diadakan penyuluhan kesehatan terkait pencegahan dan pengendalian penyebaran COVID-19 guna menambah pengetahuan dan menghimbau masyarakat untuk menekan rantai penyebaran dari Corona Virus yang dapat menyebabkan COVID-19. Target pengabdian ini adalah Masyarakat Di Dusun Bilasundung Lekok dengan tujuan memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang pemberian penyuluhan pencegahan covid-19, mencuci cuci tangan yang benar, dan penyediaan bahan untuk pencegahan penularan covid-19 dengan membagikan masker secara gratis. Kegiatan tersebut telah terlaksana dengan baik. Sambutan dari warga dusun Bilasundung Lekok Kecamatan Masbagik sangat baik dan mengharapkan kegiatan serupa dilaksanakan secara rutin
