Abstract

Acute respiratory infections are the most important cause of morbidity in children. Based on the results of the 2018 Riskesdas, the highest category of the population experiencing ISPA was in the age range of 1-4 years (25.8%). The prevalence of ISPA according to the population age group 0 to 11 months was (9.4%). One of the factors that influence the incidence of ARI is the history of breastfeeding. Data obtained from the DKI Jakarta Province Health Profile shows that the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in 2016 was 48.1% and decreased to 46.60% in 2017 with Central Jakarta City as the region with the lowest percentage of exclusive breastfeeding. The community needs to know the important role of exclusive breastfeeding both from a health perspective and from an Islamic point of view. This research is an analytic observational study using a cross-sectional design conducted on children aged 0-24 months at YARSI Hospital, Jakarta. After conducting a review based on the history of breastfeeding, the results of the Chi Square Test p 0.031 indicated that there was a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and non-exclusive breastfeeding on the incidence of ARI in children aged 0-24 months at YARSI Hospital, Jakarta. Most mothers give exclusive breastfeeding which is in accordance with Islamic recommendations.

Antibiotics used not according to the rules will cause serious problems such as side effects of these drugs and antibiotic resistance. Methods: The method used is by distributing questionnaires to health and non-health sciences in DKI Jakarta Province. The number of samples is 161 people using stratified sampling technique. Results: The results showed that in the knowledge category, health sciences had good knowledge of 33%, while non-health sciences had good knowledge of 6.6%. From the overall cross tabulation of 161 people, the majority of respondents had a good level of knowledge and a positive attitude of 81.1%.Conclusion: The conclusion in this study is that health sciences have more broad insight to use antibiotics better when compared to non-health sciences. The ability of health professionals must be strengthened to prescribe and administer antibiotics appropriately and to communicate effectively with patients. Governments should promote specific information on the rational use of antibiotics and AMR to certain target groups.

This study was conducted to determine the effect of comorbid diabetes mellitus on the severity of COVID-19 patients. This research is quantitative with a case-control approach. This type of research is an analytic observational study. The population and samples in this study were all medical record data of patients infected with COVID-19 at YARSI Hospital. Data collection techniques using secondary data in the form of medical records of COVID-19 patients at YARSI Hospital. The data measurement technique uses the bivariate analysis method. Then the data were processed using SPSS. The results showed that there were 795 patients affected by COVID-19 at YARSI hospital, with 178 patients (22.38%) having comorbid diabetes mellitus, 20 patients (11.23%) having comorbid diabetes mellitus without confounding factors and 12 patients (60%) having comorbid diabetes mellitus without confounding factors and data completeness.
