Abstract

Yoga is no stranger to human life today. Yoga combines mind, body, and spirit into one integrated and balanced unity. Someone who does yoga seriously will get a healthy body and mind balance. Yoga is not just a movement or posture. Yoga guides a person to control the mind. Therefore yoga seeks to unite the activities of the body with the mind. In this case yoga as a way to self-discipline. Practicing yoga postures is very effective in curing various diseases. But if we are only interested in practicing yoga postures with the primary goal of maintaining a healthy body and not having the goal of healing the mind and emotions, then our confused minds are not in accordance with the condition of the body. Yoga is used as an ability to control emotions or manage emotions that are in themselves properly. When someone is able to exercise control or self-discipline, he will realize devotion to God. The goal of yoga is self-realization that will illuminate and enhance the mind and character of a Yogi. This is a spiritual achievement that is able to make humans discover the higher truths that are within themselves. To understand and understand our hidden selves, there must be a perfection in the conscious mind, so that the deeper layers of the mind can be directed at the level of consciousness.

Abstract

Yoga is becoming an increasingly global activity. This worldwide yoga is only for hatha yoga, not accompanied by the well-known advanced stages of hatha yoga, namely Raja yoga. The actually, Yoga teach to connect ātman and paramātman . This goal can be achieved if humans undergo the stages of yoga as a whole so that the atman who is affected by virtual nature can be purified again.Maha Rsi Pātañjali was the first people to give an explanation of the yoga system in the Yoga Sutras and there are eight stages which are called astangga yoga. Furthermore, yoga teachings are also contained in tattwa texts, including: Lontar Text of Tattwa Jñāna (prayogasaṅdhi); The lontar text of Wrhaspati Tattwa (ṣaḍanga yoga); Lontar text of Jñānasiddhânta (ṣaḍ-aṅga-yoga). Tattwa texts contain teachings about yoga because in the tattwa teachings there are the concepts of cetana and acetana. Putting off acetana leads to cetana with yoga as the path. The teachings of yoga whose aim is to connect and purify the ātman to paramātman are related to the advaita or monistic concept of divinity, because the paramātman that the ātman will aim at in yoga is of course the monistic paramātman which believes that everything is God and all the differences that exist are mere delusion.

Abstract

Lontar Taru Pramana is a lontar containing many types of plants that can be used in traditional medicine. Through the contents of Taru Pramana's lontar text, it is possible to trace the types of plants that have lived and are still growing in Bali's natural ecosystem, of course, with an environmental sociology perspective. The relationship between environmental sociology and Taru Pramana's lontar text semiotics explains the meaning of the relationship between humans and the environment. Three conceptions view nature in environmental sociology, namely: 1) Sustainable use of natural resources; 2) "arcadian" approach to the interpretation of nature; 3) natural social construction approach. This conception of nature as a resource has three main characteristics. First, nature is instrumental, which means that nature has value when other values can be manifested through it. Both realms function as a supplier of human material needs, such as food production, health, the availability of space for life, and a supplier of energy and materials. The three definitions of nature are generally closely related to natural science. The preservation of Taru Pramana plants is very important in addition to environmental harmony and as a form of human relations with palemahan (environment). Four types of rationality for human development. First, traditional rationality. The Second, effective rationality. Third, value-oriented rationality. Fourth, instrumental rationality. The ideology of Taru Pramana's text is the preservation and planting of medicinal plants in the ecosystem of traditional Balinese medicine.

Deity's holy teachings contained in the holy books of religion are a guide for everyone so as not to get lost on the journey of life to achieve the expected goals. Every person who lives in this world has the same goal, namely to want a comfortable, calm, full of joy and happiness, and to be kept away from worldly suffering. One of the many holy books of Hinduism that we can use as a guide to achieving the goal of Hinduism, namely the union between Atma and Paramatma (moksa) is the Bhagawadgita book, which contains the essence of Vedic teachings conveyed by conversation activities between Arjuna and Sri Krisna. One of the discussions in the conversation was about the implementation of yoga as a step-by-step guide to mankind to be able to control themselves to achieve a prosperous life in the world and spiritual happiness called moksa, union with Brahman.

Abstract

Traditional medicine is closely related to the culture in which it develops. The art of detecting disease through the tongue is one of the main diagnostic methods in Traditional Chinese Medicine culture that has been applied since the classical times of the Yellow Emperor. Tongue diagnosis in Traditional Chinese Medicine culture is a method for diagnosing disease and disease patterns by visual inspection of the tongue and its various features. As with other diagnostic methods, the diagnosis of the tongue is based on the principle that the outside of the body reflects the inside of the body. The tongue provides important clues that reflect the condition of the internal organs in each patient. In Traditional Chinese Medicine culture, the external structure of the body often reflects the condition of the inner structure and can give an important indication of internal disharmony.

Abstract

Homo religios is a human dimension that tries to find the meaning of life in the spiritual dimension. The effort to uncover the veil of the truth of life in the spiritual dimension is through an activity called yoga. Kriyà yoga is a part of yoga that places more emphasis on controlling the flow of life force (prana) through a series of specific pranayama techniques to achieve union with cosmic consciousness (God). In learning kriyà yoga techniques, one should attend to a competent teacher in a devotional manner. A series of kriyà yoga techniques that emphasize certain pranayama techniques are used to cleanse and provide a maximum flow of life energy (prana) to the energy centers (chakras) and the brain contained in humans. When this flow of prana flows more and more to the spiritual organ it automatically promotes an increase in awareness in a yogi.
