Abstract

This study aims to discuss the teaching skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing of X MAN 2 Parepare; and the discourse mastery of English through listening, speaking, reading and writing. The results showed that the teaching of language skills listening, speaking, reading, and writing of X MAN 2 Parepare is not adequate because the implementation did not get level of 66.67%. Inadequate implementation of the teaching of language skills in this regard due to the application of learning, teaching materials management, and utilization of the facilities or infrastructure associated with teaching and learning process is not optimal. English discourse mastery based on the teaching of language skills of X MAN 2 Parepare is considered inadequate or did not get 75% of students who got score more than 7 on all four of the discourse mastery process. Thus, students have not mastered the English language discourse by teaching language skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the hyperactive behavior of students in Junior High School 2 Pinrang. This type of research is qualitative research in the form of case studies on students who behave in a hyperactive. The technique used in data collection were interviews, observation, analysis and documentation. Data were analyzed with descriptive qualitative analysis. The results showed that the indicator hyperactive behavior of students are: 1) it is difficult to concentrate, 2) often does not do the work, 3) can not sit quietly, 4) often flicked friends, 5) impulsive, 6) often monopolize activities in social interaction. Impact hyperactive behavior of students are: 1) the decline in student achievement, 2) lack of harmony in social relationships with peers. Hyperactive behavior is influenced by the pattern of authoritarian parenting and unattended.

Abstract

Basically learners have the imagination and curiosity. Both are authorized for developing attitudes and critical and creative thinking can not be separated from the information and communications conveyed. Therefore, learning activities need to be made if the land in order to become a fertile place for the development of both the potential of God's grace. Learning atmosphere accompanied by praise of teachers towards the students 'work, which is accompanied by a teacher's question that challenge and encouragement so that students conduct experiments is a good learning to develop students' potential. Information and communication technology can be a means to facilitate learning that can be digested and received with both an appropriate means of beginning the learning success.

Abstract

Research problems namely is the implementation of cooperative learning model Teams-Games-Tournaments can improve student learning outcomes on addition and reduction of numbers in the first grade of SD Muhammadiyah 2 Pare Pare? from the formulation of the problem, the research aims: to improve learning outcomes the sum of mathematics in the subject and reduction of numbers by applying cooperative learning Teams-Games-Tournaments. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. Classroom action research (PTK) was implemented in the first grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 2 Pare Pare totaling 17 people by focusing on two main aspects, namely: (1) aspect of the learning process; and (2) aspects of learning outcomes. The second aspect of the focus of which will be observed during the study with research procedures, ie: action planning, action, observation, and reflection. From the implementation of the measures obtained data collected by observation, achievement test and documentation. Furthermore, the data is analyzed and processed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative descriptive. Results of the study showed that: the teacher's activities in meyajikan materials with cooperative learning model Teams-Games-Tournaments tend to increase; activity of students in the learning process, also tend to be the better; and learning outcomes the first cycle and the second cycle are at sufficient qualification, and the third cycle is at a good qualifying.

Abstract

Material development is one of the competencies that should be required by Arabic teacher in their duties. It is important for them to make the teaching and learning process more effective and efficient. In fact, many teacher pay less attention to their duties. This research is a descriptive-qualitative. The subjects of the research were Arabic teachers of public and private Madrasah Aliyah. Data was collected through interviews, observation, documentation, and triangulation. The Arabic material development of MA teachers in Parepare were, reduction, simple adaptation and modifications, addition of sharf and qawaid. The problems faced by Arabic teacher at Madrasah Aliyah in Parepare are a low student motivation in learning Arabic, variety of Arabic language ability, lack of cost and infrastructure. To overcome these problems, the teachers are encouraged to participate actively in Congress of Subject Teacher (MGMP), teachers are motivated to take part in training or workshop relating to the improvement of learning and teaching materials, the teachers motivate students to interact with the Arabic language, the teachers usually adjust the material to the students' abilities, and teachers delivers teaching materials with various techniques.

Abstract

Construction of Curriculum 2013 islamic religious education subjects can not be separated from the influence of the world in terms of epistemology is the epistemology of the West, the indicator is the ratio of the dominant use in the learning process, where the ratio is a key tool in the philosophy of rational epistemology West. This paper discusses the West's hegemony rationalism construction PAI Curriculum 2013 subjects who dissect the influence of Western rationalism epistemology in Curriculum 2013 subjects PAI. Analysis of the data used in this paper is the analysis of documents that a thorough analysis of curriculum documents in 2013 subjects PAI. Findings is that the curriculum in 2013 on the subjects of PAI greatly affected even hegemony by Western rationalism.

Abstract

Islamic education has been growing and developing along with the existence of Islam in Indonesia as an effort of Islamization, and as a process of growth and development of Islamic society in Indonesia. One form of Islamic education that was developed since the existence of Islam in the archipelago is Islamic boarding school. The current form of pesantren, in its history, is the development of the Prophet's period of education. namely: Khuttab and Khalaqah. In the development of pesantren, it has two functions, as a value transformation with amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar (classical function) and community development, as a means of improving living standards and community welfare (development function). As'adiyah pesantren since its foundation plays a role in the development of education in southern and eastern archipelago and serves as a printers of Islamic scholars and preservers. In this pesantren, becoming a scholar or kiai, santri are required to master various religious disciplines. Therefore, to reach the title of kiai (young kiai), not all santri can get it. A senior santri must first take a memorizing test from a kiai. The test results determine whether the kiai admit it or not. If it has been recognized by the kiai that the person is already worthy of being a young kiai. As'adiyah Boarding School's role is so great and make the government and community of Wajo district put hope to this pesantren to become one of change agent and community development. Thus, the demand is also for this pesantren, to be more responsive to the needs and challenges of the times.

Abstract

The development of education in Indonesia is currently faced with the moral problems of the nation's children. This study aims to provide constructive results for the national education system in terms of character education of the nation. This research uses descriptive method to collect actual information in detail that describe the existing symptoms, identify problems, make comparisons or evaluations. This study shows that any morality-related issues of education can not be solved using only one approach but require another approach depending on the conditions prevailing at the time.Indonesia’s national education system developed from the struggle for independence and the renaissance of the nation. During its development, many influences, local or global, contributed to the changing nature of the curriculum, pedagogy, assessment, and teacher professionalism. The author argues that education reform should entail a dialog involving the government, educators, and society to attain the goal of constructing an independent society of democracy and social justice.

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of teacher ability using computer-based media to the attention of learners on learning PAI in SMPN 2 Pinrang Regency. This toward study aims to determine the ability of teachers using computer-based media, the attention of learners on learning PAI in SMPN 2 Pinrang regency, and the effect of teacher ability using computer-based media to the attention of learners on learning PAI in SMPN 2 Pinrang regency. This type of research is quantitative research, as it find the objective, valid, and reliable data using numerical data, preferably observation, questionnaires, documentation. Data obtained through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the ability of teachers using computer-based learning media significantly influence the attention of learners on learning PAI SMPN 2 Pinrang District. Known from the results of hypothesis testing was proposed alternative hypothesis can be accepted. Based on the calculation, r calculated = 1,000 > r table = 0,169 at 5% significant level so it is concluded that ho is rejected and ha is accepted. Means there is a significant positive influence between variables x and y variables. T test results show t arithmetic greater than t table, 6.029>1.985, meaning Ho rejected or Ha accepted. the calculation results obtained by determination coefficient of 0.27,7 means the correlation value of 27.7 percent of independent variables can explain the deviation and dependent variables.Some of the implications in this study as a form of learning process development is the school is expected to facilitate the process of computer-based learning. Availability of infrastructure facilities will maximize the motivation, interest and attention of learners so that achievement and learning outcomes can be maximized.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the implementation of the supervisory duties of the PAI, the performance of principals, the professionalism of PAI teachers, and the contribution of supervisors and principals to the professionalism of PAI teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Parepare. This type of research is applied research that is correlational or associative. The PAI surveillance population, the principals of one person and the PAI teacher are four. Sampling technique used is saturated sample technique or total sampling that is the determination and sampling taken as a whole as many as 6 people. The results show that the implementation of PAI supervisors in SMPN 1 Parepare is very high. The performance of principals is categorized as either high or good. The professional level of teachers of PAI is categorized as high, strong or good professionalism of the teacher. As for the supervisors of PAI and principals there is a very significant influence on the professionalism of PAI teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Parepare.
