This study, therefore, aims to analyze the technical efficiency of the large and medium manufacturing industries in West Java Province, Indonesia. Understanding the technical efficiency is important as firms with full technical efficiency, the less inputs they use, the larger output they achieve. Data envelopment analysis with output-oriented and variable returns-to-scale is used to accomplish the objective of this study. The output is measured by total output value, while the inputs are cost of labor, raw materials, fuel, electricity, and gas, representation and royalty, fixed capital, as well as industrial service. Result shows that among twenty-four decision-making units under-investigated, nine of them are considered as the most efficient.

Abstract

The development of the industrial sector and the increasing number of people in Indonesia causes the use of energy to increase. Fossil energy which has been the main support for electricity generation in Indonesia has experienced limitations and is running low. The current strategic issue is the government's commitment to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, namely reducing carbon emissions by 29% by 2030 with its own capabilities and 41% with international assistance. By 2060 it is expected to achieve the Net Zero Emission (NZE) target. Currently, most of the power generation still relies on fossil energy, which produces G. Nuclear energy is one of the clean energy options in the supply of electrical energy to meet the demand and need for electrical energy in Indonesia. The electrical energy produced by nuclear power plants is a very clean energy because it does not release carbon into the environment. However, nuclear energy among the general public is considered a dangerous energy based on the experience of the three largest nuclear accidents namely Chernobyl, Tree Mile Island and Fukushima. Nuclear energy is environmentally friendly energy and efficient in the use of resources. Government Regulation No. 79 of 2014 states that nuclear energy is included in new and renewable energy (EBT).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the response was given by the Gini coefficient variable to the movement of the variables of economic growth, foreign capital flows, and international trade and to find out which variables make the largest contribution to the amount of investment credit, the authors choose the Vector Auto Regression (VAR) analysis tool. ) or Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). IRF results show that when there is a movement in the economic growth of 1 standard deviation, the Gini coefficient responds negatively. This shows that when there is an increase in economic growth, the Gini coefficient will decrease. According to the Trickle-Down Effect theory, The increase in economic growth enjoyed by some of the rich will ultimately affect the economic activities of the poor and this growth will be enjoyed by the poor. The IRF results show that when there is a movement in the number of foreign capital inflows into Indonesia by 1 standard deviation, the Gini coefficient trend will respond positively. The increase in MNCs due to increased FDI causes an unequal distribution of income. This is because MNCs employ only skilled labor so that only some highly skilled workers get additional income and the income distribution becomes unequal. The impact of international trade can harm income inequality due to a large number of import activities carried out by Indonesia, thereby reducing the competitiveness of domestic producers. This reduces the income of local producers and causes an unequal distribution of income.

Abstract

ERACS (Enhanced Recovery After Caesarian Surgery) is a fast post-SC recovery program, namely a series of treatments starting from preoperative preparation, during surgery, and postoperative care to patient discharge. The ERACS concept is the development of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) concept, where the ERAS concept was originally used in digestive surgery. The purpose of this study was to find out whether the eracs method could be used as a solution to ease the burden on hospital and patient costs. This research method was carried out using a literature review approach with a library approach. The nature of the research used in this research is a prescriptive design. The results of this study were then analyzed qualitatively. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the Enhanced Recovery After Caesarean Surgery (ERACS) method is the newest method performed for cesarean delivery. This method emphasizes reducing the anesthetic dose so that the patient does not need to spend a long time in the hospital. Because, if the patient stays in the hospital for too long, this will have an impact on increasing the cost of hospitalization. This method can reduce the financial burden on both patients and healthcare facilities. This will help a mother to care for her baby much earlier without compromising her safety and satisfaction. Hospitals will have an advantage in terms of decreased beds and thus the number of patients treated will increase and healthcare resources will be increased efficiently used.

Abstract

The relatively new information technology has amazingly been the trigger for the growth of so many markets for goods and service offerings to become global in the truest sense. Market segmentation is the process of dividing the market into groups of potential customers who have similar needs and/or personalities and have the same reaction to spending their money. The marketing strategy consists of specific strategies related to the market, the target marketing mix, and the level of marketing expenditure. A company's marketing strategy must be able to change in a competitive environment. The purpose of writing this “Literature Review” is to determine the effect or relationship between exogenous variables (marketing strategy, market size, technology, and end users) on endogenous variables (market segmentation and competitive space).
