Abstract

This study aims to strengthen organizational culture in local government in the era of regional autonomy. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The results showed that a strong organizational culture is a key factor in improving local government performance. A strong organizational culture is defined as the adoption of shared values, traditions and norms that are understood and carried out by all members of the organization. As for the role of a strong organizational culture towards the organization, members of the organization and those related to the organization, namely organizational identity, unifying the organization and conflict resolution. It is hoped that the results of this research can become input for local governments in developing and strengthening organizational culture to improve local government performance in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to look into the influence of social media in influencing investment decisions among the millennial age. Because the millennial generation is thought to be the most reliant on digital technology and information, the influence of social media on them is growing. As a data gathering tool, this study employs quantitative methodologies with survey techniques. The research sample consists of 400 Bogor City millennials who use social media regularly. According to the study's findings, social media has a considerable influence on investment decisions among the millennial age. Based on these data, the study indicates that social media has a significant impact on millennial investment decisions. Therefore, investment companies and financial institutions need to consider using social media as a marketing and communication tool to attract the attention of the millennial generation and strengthen their brand image. In addition, the millennial generation needs to increase their self-awareness about investment risks and make investment decisions that are more rational and based on fundamental considerations.

Abstract

The community is the main actor in disaster management in their area. Involvement as explained by The international strategy for disaster risk reduction (UNDP: 2006) which is one of the strategies by involving community participation in the implementation of disaster risk reduction. The involvement of the community in disaster management policies has been carried out by the government of West Bandung Regency through a disaster resilient village program implemented by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD). The program is intended to establish and foster local communities for disaster management. This means that the community is facilitated to be involved in disaster management through local organizations formed by the government. Then the local Institution in Pagerwangi Village, Lembang Subdistrict, West Bandung Regency in disaster management is still in the process of developing its resources. The knowledge of organization members about disaster management provides a barrier to the process of strengthening the capacity of local organizations, especially in natural disaster management. So far what has been done is still waiting for encouragement from the local government of West Bandung Regency and from the internal organization itself.

Abstract

Communication is in everyone's interest to socialize with other people. Someone will find it difficult to connect with other people without communication between everyone. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of communication and work environment on employee performance at PT Pos Indonesia Regional 3 Bandung. The research method used is descriptive and verification method. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews. The sample in this study were 84 respondents. Data processing was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis, model fit test, and hypothesis testing with the T-test and data processing assisted with SPSS software tools. The findings of this study prove and provide results that communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and communication and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Food security is one of the main challenges in urban areas, where land is limited and access to food resources is limited. Aquaponics, as an integrated system of aquaculture and hydroponics, has been recognized as an innovative solution to meet food needs in urban areas by utilizing land efficiently and optimizing the use of water resources. This study aims to evaluate the potential of aquaponics as a solution to family food security in urban areas. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate that aquaponics has significant potential in increasing family food security in urban areas. The aquaponic system is capable of simultaneously producing a wide variety of vegetables and fish, providing a balanced source of protein and nutrition for the family. In addition, aquaponics can also be applied in urban environments that have limited land by using vertical spaces or controlled container systems. The conclusion from this research is that aquaponics has great potential as a solution for family food security in urban areas. In order to optimize this potential, policies and programs are needed that support the implementation of aquaponics as a sustainable food alternative in urban areas.

Abstract

In addition to having a positive impact, technology also has a negative impact on society, including the emergence of more and more new crimes, namely computer crimes, such as internet fraud, hacking of ATM PIN, burglary of banking accounts, the rise of fake social media, pornographic media, and defamation through the internet. This study aims to legally analyze the judge's decision in the criminal act of threats and intimidation directed personally related to Law Number 11 of 2008. This study uses a descriptive analysis method with a normative juridical approach. The reference for the panel of judges in deciding cases is the prosecutor's indictment, not the indictment by taking into account the evidence. The judge's considerations are deemed appropriate to be able to sentence the defendant. Regulations and sanctions for all forms of social media use must be in line with the ideals in which Law Number 11 of 2008 was made to protect and maintain the comfort of social media users. So that in the future social media users can use it wisely to build a modern and law-abiding society. In this case law enforcers must see that the use of social media is increasingly being used at this time, this causes the use of social media to become uncontrollable, causing losses to the parties.

Abstract

Human capital management is a strategic approach in human resource management that focuses on increasing the value and effectiveness of individuals in organizations. In the context of public services, improving the quality and competence of ASN is a key factor in achieving efficient and responsive government performance. However, many government agencies face challenges in identifying and developing the potential of existing ASNs, as well as facing dynamic changes in societal demands and organizational needs. This study aims to investigate and analyze optimal ways of developing and utilizing the potential and skills of the state civil apparatus (ASN) through a human capital management approach. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show The results of the study show that the application of the concept of Human Capital Management (HCM) in the development of ASN in a planned and structured manner has a positive impact on organizational performance and public services. Through identification of individual potential and competencies, as well as appropriate coaching and mentoring, ASNs are able to improve their professionalism and adaptability in dealing with changes in the work environment. The use of information and communication technology (ICT) also contributes to increasing collaboration, efficiency and innovation within organizations. The merit system implemented in performance management provides incentives for ASN to work more productively and have superior performance. In addition, a positive and inclusive organizational culture creates an inspiring work environment and supports the growth of ASN.

Abstract

The aim of this research for mollen dryer project is to give application to small and middle industries in dry juice production. Benefit from this research was to give more choice for dryer utilize, with used dried air as heating media. The principal of this mollen dryer was based on hot air blows into mollen tube, rotation of mollen tube and move of agitator in mollen tube to material mixing was to spreading of heated air over to entire heating material and water evaporating to get good dried products criterion. The steps of this studied as followed : literature studied, basic designing, detail engineering design (DED), revision of DED, design simulation, prepared of construction material, construction of mollen dryer, and test of operational to dried products. The result from drying tested of mollen dryer which had desgned and constructed, with air flow between 1.1 m/s - 4.5 m/s during operating about 4 - 5 hours, we got pineapple powder equal to 550 g, water content equal to 2.71 %, and the content of vitamin C about 16.13 mg / 100 g, from pineapple fruit extracts with total dissolved solid equal to 16 obrix which have been enhanced by sugar equal to 1100 g with water content equal to 82.3 %. Totally operational of mollen dryer have been designed and construction was efficient, effective, and good.

Abstract

The digital era has changed the business and organizational landscape significantly, triggering rapid changes in technology, work culture and market dynamics. In facing the challenges and opportunities presented by the digital era, adaptive leadership is critical in ensuring the survival and success of the organization. Leaders who have the ability to lead and utilize technology are called digital leaders. This study aims to analyze the role of digital leadership in building adaptive organizations in the context of the digital era. This research will use a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results show that digital leadership is not only about understanding technology, but also about formulating a vision that integrates technology into business strategy, builds a culture of innovation, develops employees' digital skills, focuses on customers, and creates organizational flexibility. Digital leaders need to have the ability to adapt quickly to change, design responsive organizational structures, and maintain data security and privacy. By applying these digital leadership principles, organizations can optimize the potential of technology, achieve sustainable business goals, and adapt successfully to the relentless changes of the digital transformation era.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the process of implementing strategies in dealing with media convergence .Tjandra FM Radio developed from initially being limited to conventional radio but then developed by combining it with new media such as the internet . The theoretical basis used is New media from Pierre Levy. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. In its implementation, Radio Tjandra no longer only broadcasts on air on radio but also utilizes internet media as a process of expanding listeners, increasing existence and also broadcasting advertisements. What is done is by creating a social media account. such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, creating websites and streaming radio applications. Apart from that, Radio Tjandra also carries out many off air or on air activities in busy places using an OB Van. The results of the implementation process of the strategy of combining radio with the internet have not yet produced maximum results for expanding advertising, however for expanding listening it has provided significant results as proven by increasing the number of listeners every day.So the future challenge for Radio Tjandra FM is how to find new, more interesting innovations, and also develop existing human resources so that the initial vision and mission can be achieved and the radio's existence increase
