Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve teachers' abilities in preparing KTSP through assistance to the principals of SD Fostered Schools, Paju Epat District, East Barito Regency. The method used in this study is Action Research which consists of 2 (two) cycles, and each cycle consists of: Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection. Based on the results of action research that mentoring can improve teachers' abilities in preparing KTSP for the principals of assisted elementary schools in the Paju Epat District, East Barito Regency. Furthermore, the researcher recommends: (1) For school supervisors who have the same difficulties, they can apply assistance to increase the ability to prepare minimum completeness criteria for school principals and assisted teachers. (2) In order to obtain maximum results, individual assistance can be applied intensively and continuously.

Abstract

This research is entitled Efforts to Improve Performance Through Individual Supervision of Fostered Elementary School Teachers, Benua Lima District, East Barito Regency. The method used in this research is Action Research which consists of 2 (two) cycles, and each cycle consists of: Planning, Implementation, Observation, and reflection. Based on the results of action research that Individual Supervision can improve the Performance of Primary School Teachers in Benua Lima District, East Barito Regency. Furthermore, the researcher recommends: (1) For school supervisors who experience the same difficulties, individual supervision can be used as a solution. (2) In order for the application of Individual Supervision to achieve maximum results, it is hoped that the School Supervisor will carry out Individual Supervision intensively and continuously.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to increase motivation and learning outcomes by using the discussion method in the mathematics subject matter of two-variable linear equations in class VIII-B of SMP Negeri 1 Grogol, Kediri Regency. This is because students' understanding of the material presented is lacking, the teacher must be active in providing variations in learning, so that students do not become bored so that blocking of the material occurs. Students should have space to convey their thoughts so that boredom does not occur at every meeting in learning. The most appropriate method is discussion because here students are taught how to think critically. There is at least two-way communication when applying the discussion method. The discussion method is an appropriate learning method to improve the quality of interaction between students. The goal is to gain a clearer and more thorough shared understanding of something, as well as to prepare and finalize joint decisions. The results showed that there was an increase in student motivation by (0.94) in cycle 1, from 2.56 to 3.5 in cycle 2. In increasing learning outcomes the number of students who were declared to have met KKM standards in cycle 1 were 22 students (62 .86%), and students who met the KKM standards in cycle 2 were 31 students (88.57%). The percentage increase was 25.71% from cycle 1. So it can be concluded that the application of the discussion method can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of class VIII-B UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Grogol material on Linear Equations of Two Variables. So it can be concluded that the discussion method can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of class VIII-B UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Grogol in the matter of Linear Equations of Two Variables.

Abstract

The results of monitoring the learning process and the results of the questionnaire given to class IX-D students of SMP Negeri 2 Pare, Kediri Regency, showed that students' abilities were still low in science subjects. Many students experience difficulties, especially in the matter of Inheritance of Traits in Living Things. This results in low quality of teaching and learning activities and test scores. The low quality of teaching and learning activities and test scores will have an impact on low student achievement. After examining in depth the cause of the low ability of students is the teacher's habits that dominate learning activities. Teachers assume that students will not gain knowledge if they do not transfer the knowledge they have, and assume that learning that focuses on student activities (student center) is only troublesome and results in learning objectives not being achieved. This study aims to describe natural science with the application of the STAD model which can improve science learning achievement in the subject of Inheritance of Traits in Living Things. This study used a Classroom Action Research design consisting of two cycles. Research data collection was carried out from August to October 2018. Research in the form of student activities and student achievement was obtained through tests at the end of each cycle. The results showed that students' interest increased by (14%) in cycle 1, from 70% to 84% in cycle 2. In increasing learning achievement, the number of students who met KKM standards in cycle 1 was 24 students with a mastery percentage of 66%, and students who were declared to have met the KKM standard in cycle 2 were 35 students with a completeness percentage of 97%. The percentage increase is 31% from cycle 1. So it can be concluded that the application of the STAD model can improve student achievement in class IX-D SMP Negeri 2 Pare on the material Inheritance of Traits in Living Things.

Abstract

The purpose of this school action research is to increase teacher competence in preparing lesson plans through workshops for Class Teachers of Fostered Elementary Schools, Benua Lima District, East Barito Regency, in preparing lesson plans that are in accordance with the competency standards of each lesson so that they can become a reference in the learning process so that students able to achieve the minimum completeness criteria. The method used in this research is Action Research which consists of 2 (two) cycles, and each cycle consists of: Planning, Implementation, Observation, and reflection. The results showed that (1) in the formulation component of learning objectives indicators, there was an increase from 61.3% in initial competence to 69.3% in cycle I and cycle II to 73.3%; (2) In the component of determining learning materials and materials, there was an increase in competence from 464.0% to 70.7% after cycle I and in cycle II it was stronger to 72.0%; (3) In the strategy and learning method selection component, which includes learning steps and determining the time allocation used, there is a significant increase from the initial 53.3% to 62.7% in cycle I and increased again to 72.0% after cycle II; (4) Even though there was no sharp increase, there was also an increase in the selection of media and learning tools from 53.3% at the beginning of the activity and 61.3% after cycle I to 70.7% after cycle II; (5) We can also see a significant increase in the learning evaluation planning component. From initially only 46.6% at the beginning of the activity, it became 60.0% at the end of cycle I and managed to reach 74.7% at the end of cycle 2; and (6) Looking at the data obtained from research results in this school's action research activities, it can be concluded that the Workshop can improve Teacher Competence in Preparing RPP for Class Teachers of Fostered Elementary Schools, Benua Lima District, East Barito Regency.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to increase motivation and learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education for class VIII-F students of SMP Negeri 2 Pare, Kediri Regency. This research is devoted to the material Avoiding Disgraceful Behavior. The research subjects were 33 students of class VIII-F of SMP Negeri 2 Pare, Kediri Regency. This study used the team quiz method, which is a learning method with a study group division system where learning material is divided according to the study group so that the study group will have the opportunity to be a group of questioners and answerers. This type of Classroom Action Research is carried out in cycles using the Kemmis and Taggart models with details of: (i) planning (ii) implementing actions (iii) observation (iv) reflection. The types of data obtained are qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data is data obtained in teaching and learning activities in the form of observation. Meanwhile, quantitative data is data on learning outcomes obtained by testing. The result is that the team quiz method can increase motivation to study Islamic Religious Education material Avoiding Disgraceful Behavior in Class VIII-F students of SMP Negeri 2 Pare, Kediri Regency. This is evidenced by the increased student learning activity from pre-cycle 45% to 60% in cycle 1, then increased 90% in cycle 2. The team quiz method can improve learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education material Avoiding Disgraceful Behavior in Class VIII-F students of SMP Negeri 2 Pare, Kediri Regency. This is evident from the average learning outcomes reaching 85.15 in cycle 2 with a classical completeness percentage of 93.93% from the previous results, namely cycle 1, the average learning outcome was 75.75 with a classical completeness percentage of 69.69%.

Abstract

Based on initial observations in class VII-I of SMP Negeri 2 Pare, information was obtained that the learning outcomes of most students in the subject of Islamic Religious Education were still relatively low. The learning process for Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 2 Pare often uses the lecture method. This has an impact on student learning outcomes which show that there are still many student test scores that do not meet the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) set at SMP Negeri 2 Pare. Therefore, in this study the Discussion method was applied to improve student learning outcomes in class VII-I and to find out student responses to discussion learning on Faith in Angels material. This study aims to describe Islamic Religious Education with the application of the discussion method which can increase the motivation and learning achievement of Islamic Religious Education students on the material Faith in Angels. This study used a Class Action Design (PTK) which consisted of two cycles. Research data collection was carried out from October to December 2018. This research was in the form of student learning activities and achievements obtained through tests at the end of each cycle. Based on the results of research data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: 1) The Discussion Method can increase learning motivation in the material Faith in Angels by 16% from 70% in cycle 1 and 86% in cycle 2. 2) The Discussion Method can improve learning achievement in material Faith in Angels as indicated by an increase in the percentage of classical completeness by 23% from 77% in cycle 1 to 90% in cycle 2.

Abstract

This study uses the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model with social interaction competency standards on social life and nationality in class VIII students. The basis for describing the influence of social interaction on social life and nationality through the Jigsaw Model. The purpose of this study was to objectively determine the increase in social studies learning outcomes through the Jigsaw Model in the matter of increasing social science learning outcomes in material about the influence of social interaction on social and national life through the Jigsaw Model for Class VIII-B Students Semester 1 of the 2022/2023 Academic Year in SMP Negeri 1 Pogalan. This research method is Action Research with the Stephen Kemmis model. This Jigsaw learning model is designed in two cycles. Research results In the first cycle of student learning outcomes have not reached completeness. The average value is 65.625. There are 18 students who achieve completeness with a percentage of 55.00%. In cycle II, student learning outcomes have reached completeness. The average value is 79.37. There were 19 students who achieved completeness with a percentage of 93.75%. The conclusion of this study, the Jigsaw Technique can improve social studies learning outcomes in material The influence of social interaction on social life and nationality through the Jigsaw Model in Class VIII-B Semester 1 Academic Year 2022/2023 at SMP Negeri 1 Pogalan. Based on this conclusion, it is suggested that teachers always improve learning outcomes by choosing methods or media that are appropriate to the characteristics of teaching materials and students.

Abstract

To make changes in improving the quality and quality of education, the teacher plays a very important role because the teacher is the front person whose job is to transfer knowledge to students. For this reason, a strategy or learning method is needed which is carried out by the teacher and it really depends on the creativity of the teacher himself in conveying the contents of the material to students. Learning methods that do not involve students will reduce students' interest in learning, so that learning achievement will decrease. Numbered Heads Together type of cooperative learning is a type of cooperative learning that emphasizes a special structure designed to influence student interaction patterns and has the aim of increasing students' cognitive mastery. Based on the results of research data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the Number Head Together Method can increase learning motivation Theme 4 sub-themes of globalization and its benefits through the number head together method in class VI MI Kunuzun Naja Purwoasri Kediri odd semester 2022/2023 academic year of 20% of 71% in cycle 1 becomes 91% in cycle 2. The Number Head Together method can improve learning achievement Theme 4, the sub-theme of globalization and its benefits through the number head together method in class VI MI Kunuzun Naja Purwoasri Kediri odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year which is shown with an increase in the percentage of classical completeness by 17.25 7% from 72.41% in cycle 1 to 89.66% in cycle 2. The increase in learning achievement was also indicated by an increase in the class average value of 8.83 from 74.83 in cycle 1 to 83.66 in cycle 2.

Abstract

In learning the concepts of learning material carried out by researchers in class, the existing reality shows that students' motivation to learn and learning activities are still felt to be less exciting. To increase students' understanding of the material presented, the teacher must be active in providing variations in learning, so that students do not become bored so that blocking of the material occurs. Students should have space to convey their thoughts so that boredom does not occur at every meeting in learning. The most appropriate method is discussion because here students are taught how to think critically. There is at least two-way communication when applying the discussion method. According to Gulo (2002) he argued that the discussion method is an appropriate learning method to improve the quality of interaction between students. The goal is to gain a clearer and more thorough shared understanding of something, as well as to prepare and finalize joint decisions. From the results of the analysis that the discussion method can increase student motivation. This can be shown from observations in the learning process cycle 1 getting 2.56 with the sufficient category, and in cycle 2 getting 3.5 with the category belonging to good. The discussion method can improve student learning outcomes. This can be shown from the increase in classical completeness, the number of students who meet KKM standards and the class average score. In cycle 1, it was found that there were 22 students who completed with classical completeness of 75.86% and an average grade of 73.86. In cycle 2, it was found that there were 25 students who completed with classical completeness of 86.21% with an average grade of 81.34. So it can be concluded that the discussion method can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of Class VI students MI Darul Muta'allimin Dayu Purwoasri Kediri Odd Semester 2021/2022 Academic Year in Material Theme 3 Sub Themes Inventors Who Changed the World.
