ISSN : 29642930     EISSN : 29643317     DOI : https://doi.org/10.21111/jocrise
The objective of JOCRISE as a scholarly bedrock of critical thinking in socio-economic issues and problems comprises abstraction derived from the ontological premise and mapped into the continuum of the socio-economic learning system by the ontological being and becoming of logical formalism. Analytical investigation subsists upon the premise of unity of knowledge as the primal ontology. This approach is further characterized by the objective criterion of simulating global wellbeing in the evolutionary learning metaverses driven in continuum of matter and mind interrelationship by the episteme of unity of knowledge. Being a multidisciplinary scholarly journal of a singular kind in academia, JOCRISE is open to the methodological moral inclusiveness study of diverse issues and problems of the socio-scientific domain. Among this entirety, as few are named here: Theory of critical realism Theory of unity of knowledge Application of the theory of critical realism to socio-economics Theory of social ontology and applications From ontology to epistemology and phenomenology pertaining to socio-scientific problems Theory of multidisciplinary wellbeing of moral inclusiveness in science Evolutionary learning behavior and inter-variate circular causation in simulating wellbeing Islamic methodological worldview of unity of knowledge Application of Islamization of knowledge in socio-economics Sustainability in respect of a comprehensive objective criterion of wellbeing Climate change by socio-economic transformation for the common good Poverty alleviation and socio-economic restructuring Consciousness in socio-scientific structures and choices Pervasively participatory socio-economic development

Abstract

The discipline of sociology is in a deplorable condition as it has a pervasive blind spot for the social dynamics of compound interest on credit, resulting in a systematic collective incompetence to bring well-informed structural solutions to the socio-ecological crises that human societies are facing everywhere around the world.

Abstract

A ‘paradigm’ is a mindset based on interconnected assumptions and underpinnings which appear to be self-evident truths. It is thus an intellectual structure founded on connected components while being, at the same time, an understanding of reality. Paradigms decide what does, or does not, happen. A shift to accurate paradigm opens the way for much positive and beneficial change. A new paradigm cannot be understood by using the analysis and understandings of the old paradigm. It can only be understood in terms of its own new analysis and understandings

Abstract

Mid-libertarianism is the new kid on the libertarian block. Torpman (2021) is critical of what he calls “classical libertarianism” and attempts to improve it with the introduction of his new perspective, “mid-libertarianism.” The present paper maintains that the good, old-time philosophy of plain libertarianism is invulnerable to his criticisms of it, that his “mid-libertarianism” has problems of its own, and thus there is no reason to substitute the one for the other.

Abstract

The study is emprical case of Young Generation Anti-Corruption Literacy Index (ALI). it was conducted with a scope of students from SMKN1 Gambut, Banjar, South Kalimantan. The number of registered students is 908, for various reasons it is estimated that only about 900 have reached as the target. The number of responsed collected was 724 or a “response rate” is 80.05%. Answering the question how is the ALI measurement carried out? Researcher describe: 1). By using the wellbeing methodology (WM) approach; 2). Designing object, defining sub-objects (variables) with expert group discussion (EGD); 3). Carry out sociometric measurements and design online e-survey instruments and cloud computing. The measurement includes an assessment based on the perspective of perception, participation and acceptability (PPA) on each variable, using a purposive population. The results of these measurements are then accumulated in the form of an index. This index is a kind of composite index. The value score is a numeric number from a scale of 9, no conversion is carried out, calculated accumulatively, all scores are tested for significance. The significance reference standard (SRS) was used. From the data presented, it can be seen that all scores show a much higher value than the SRS score. This means that the results of ALI for students at SMKN1 Gambut, Banjar are significant. From the comparison of scores, the highest value is on the X5 variable, namely "honestly conveying" with an assessment score of 7.97 (of 9) which is an almost perfect score. Very good. In the perception data, only 4.1% rated score 5 or below it. This means 95.9% of respondents rate 6 and above. The recommendations given by the researcher on the results of the ALI study at SMKN1 Gambut, Banjar, South Kalimantan are as follows: 1). Public Research, by e-Survey need to be conducted regularly (6 months) and continuously. If a students are in vocational school for 3 years, they will receive introduction and education of ALI for 6 times; 2). Schools need to conduct public research independently, via the school student council and collaborate with parties when necessary. To embed an anti-corruption attitude for the younger generation. The school publishes to students. Public Research is a kind of Open Science. The openness of knowledge is increasingly widespread in the digital era; 3). As an effort to participate in civil society, in this case schools are to help the government suppress extraordinary crimes (corruption, drugs and terrorism). Public research, is research that is easy, cheap and fast.

Abstract

This article attempts to analyze Indonesia's geopolitical policies in accommodating sharia-based economic and tourism policies. The object of this research is the policy around Muslim-Friendly Tourism (MFT). The tourism sector as one of the largest foreign exchange earners for Indonesia accommodates tourism trends in Muslim-populated countries. This study attempts to analyze the relationship between tourism and Indonesia's international geopolitical policies that involve religious elements, both in macro and micro level. In this study, the researchers found that at the macro level, the government at the national and regional levels provides policies and regulations related to the management and development of MFT. This is driven by phenomena at the micro level related to economic and socio-political aspects. The economic aspect which is dominated by the trend of consumerism of halal products and the socio-political aspect which is dominated by the spirit of Islamic populism in some areas needs to be accommodated by government regulations as a strategy to strengthen the integrity and sovereignty of the nation.

Abstract

In this paper I posit that most of the serious existential crises faced by humanity are, directly or indirectly, derived from a flawed, yet surprisingly resilient, economic philosophy. The free-market system has certainly produced some benefits, which may counterbalance some of its detrimental impact, but given the persistence of euphemistic and managed narratives in the mainstream political, academic, and media realms, most critical debate is stifled. The paper suggests that it is imperative for the extant research paradigm to be first fully critiqued, then transformed, and finally adopted by the political classes. If a new paradigm gains sufficient traction, however, it will have succeeded where the neoliberal critics of the last fifty years have failed. This paper hopes to offer people fresh insight into this hitherto insurmountable problem.

Abstract

In the view of many, Coase (1960) overcame and supplanted Pigou (1932) in terms of the sophistication, and accuracy of the law and economic analysis of social cost. It is the task of the present paper to main that the same fate should befall Coase. We have through are paper tried to redefine the problem, showing in the process that the problem of social cost is the problem of violation of private property rights which in policy and judicial implementation becomes the problem of establishing the harm done, and holding the damaging party responsible for the violation.
