Abstract

Members of the submarine unit have limited and small environmental conditions that can affect the lives of members of the submarine unit. The life of a member of a submarine can pay attention to physical well-being and psychological well-being. The current study examined the impact of personality and work environment with psychological well-being among members of submarine unit Angkatan Laut Indonesia. A total of 86 members of submarine unit Angkatan Laut Indonesia were recruited through accidental sampling. The Measuring instruments were personality scales, work environment scale, and psychological well-being scale. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a simultaneous effect between personality and work environment on psychological well-being with a simultaneous contribution of 55.2%.

Abstract

Employees are the most important aspect to realize the vision and mission set by the company. One way to deal with it is to improve the performance of its employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of organizational commitment and leadership on the performance of PT. PAL Indonesia (Persero). Respondents in this study amounted to 65 employees, who were selected using a non-random sample sampling technique. The results showed that there was a simultaneous influence of organizational commitment and leadership variables on employee performance variables, with a magnitude of influence of 41.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between peer social support and religiosity with psychological well-being in AAL level II cadets independently and simultaneously. The number of respondents was 100 AAL Cadets Level II students taken by saturated sampling technique. The results showed that there was a simultaneous relationship between peer social support and religiosity with psychological well-being. The findings also show that peer social support and religiosity show a positive relationship towards psychological well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the dimensions of extraversion, neuroticism, openness to experience, agreeableness, and conscientiousness can predict adherence to health protocols during the Covid-19 pandemic in college students. Respondents were Hang Tuah University students as many as 362 were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The compliance variable has 34 valid items with a reliability value of 0.950. The Big Five Factors Personality variable has 31 valid items with a reliability value of 0.785 for the Neuroticism dimension, 0.804 for the Extraversion dimension, 0.699 for the Openness to Experience dimension, 0.590 for the Agreeableness dimension, and 0.724 for the Conscientiousness dimension. The results show that the big five personality factors can be a predictor, with a coefficient of 0.040. Other results show that extraversion cannot be a predictor of adherence to health protocols during a pandemic, while neuroticism, openness to experience, agreeableness, and conscientiousness can be predictors of adherence to health protocols during a pandemic.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship between self-esteem and fear of missing out (FoMO) and the relationship between life satisfaction and fear of missing out (FoMO) in adolescents. This research used a quantitative approach with survey research methods. The number of subjects as many as 384 youth with an age range of 12-23 years in Surabaya, selected by purposive sampling technique. This study used three scales, namely the self-esteem scale consisting of 12 items, the life satisfaction scale having 14 items and the fear of missing out (FoMO) scale having 15 items. The results showed that there was a relationship between self-esteem and fear of missing out (FoMO) in adolescents with a positive relationship. Other results show that there is a relationship between life satisfaction and fear of missing out (FoMO) in adolescents with a negative relationship. The results of this study can be used as a reference for further research related to fear of missing out (FoMO).

Abstract

The current study examined the relationship between career self-efficacy and family support with with career adaptability indepedenly among students of SMAN 1 Pandaan. The number of respondents was 206 students of twelve grade SMAN 1 Pandaan, recruited through nonprobability sampling. The measuring instrument were CAAS (Career Adapt Adaptability Scale), Career Decision Making Self-Efficacy Scale (Indonesia Version) and family support scale from House and Khan. Data were analyzed using multiple correlation techniques. The results of the study show that there is a relationship between career self-efficacy and career adaptability of class XII students of SMAN 1 Pandaan, the direction of the relationship is positive. Other results show that there is no relationship between family support and career adaptability for class XII students of SMAN 1 Pandaan.
