Abstract

The study was motivated by the issue that schools do not yet have an adequate environment for children's development, as evidenced by the rampant cases of violence, conflict & excessive conformity between students. The focus of the discussion was to describe the role of the counselor in creating a safe and peaceful school for students. The results of the discussion showed that the role of counselors in creating safe and peaceful schools can be both preventive and curative. Safe and peaceful schools are the basis for building healthy personalities for students

Abstract

Research is motivated by the need for guidance and counseling service programs in increasing interpersonal attractiveness. The limited time of a BK teacher in guiding all students urges the need for the preparation of classical guidance services. The research aims at developing the Classical Guidance Services program in increasing students' interpersonal attractiveness. The research method is development research. After the validation test, this program can be used by the BK teacher or homeroom teacher to increase students' interpersonal attractiveness. The final product of the classical guidance service program consists of the subject and purpose of the intervention, the competency of the counselor or counseling teacher or homeroom teacher, the steps for implementing the classical guidance service, success criteria, tools and media needed, service implementation matrix, and Guidance Service Activity Unit and counseling.

Abstract

Conditioning feeling dominance is very high in Indonesia. This causes the level of community rationality, especially among adolescents has decreased. In fact, rationality is very important to make someone able to adjust to the environment. Therefore it is necessary to establish the personality of rational domination. Through this article, the study focuses on how to establish rational personalities. The formation of personality of rational dominance can be achieved by objective thinking, scientific thinking (following the problem solving procedure), providing reinforcement, and conditioning oneself to a rationally dominated environment. The formation of a rational personality will be beneficial to someone, that is, someone can judge whether an action is good or bad from the ability to consider, can overcome and regulate his emotional state, can easily deal with problems, can adjust to the environment, more independent without having to always depend on others to face difficulties, and can achieve life success.

Abstract

The purpose of this reseach is to find out about “Effectiveness of Group Counseling Services to Reduce Anxiety in Public Speaking at Wijaya Kusuma Islamic Vocational School Jakarta”. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research : if with the Pre-experimental research method using one group pretest postest design. Data and sources of data in this study were students of class X AK-2 and X AP-1 Wijaya Kusuma Islamic Vocational School Jakarta, the total population of 64 students and reseach subjects or samples as many as 10 students with sampling using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was an anxiety questionnaire in public speaking. Data analysis techniques were carried out by means of non-parametric statistical test using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. The results of the study concluded that in general group counseling services were effective to reduce anxiety in public speaking. It can be seen clearly that the probability value of Asmyp. Sig (2-Tailed) speaking anxiety of students in the reserch subjects amounted to 0,005 or probability values below alpha 0,05 (0,005 < 0,05). The results of this study are useful for schools in designing guidance and counseling programs to be more effective in helping develop potential and alleviate student problems

Abstract

Motivation is very necessary in the learning process, because when students do not have the motivation to learn it can interfere with the process of learning activities. One service that can build student motivation in learning is content mastery services. The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Content Mastery Services on the Level of Learning Motivation in Class VIII Students of SMPN 01 Cileungsi. Research conducted using quantitative research, a quasi-experimental approach to the design of nonequivalent control group. The results of this study can be seen in the paired sample test results obtained by the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,000 <0.05 means that there is a difference between learning motivation in the pre and post test data of each group. In the independent sample test, the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.083> 0.05 means that there is no difference between the motivation of learning in the experimental and control groups. The conclusion is the content mastery service influences the level of learning motivation in class VIII students of SMPN 01 Cileungsi

Abstract

Research is motivated by the need for the development of the Adlerian Group Play Therapy program to increase interpersonal attractiveness. The research aims to develop the Adlerian Group Play Therapy program in increasing students' interpersonal attractiveness. The study was designed in the form of development research with a qualitative approach. Data analysis method in this research uses descriptive analysis. After receiving improvements from four expert lecturers & two homeroom teachers, this program can be used to increase the interpersonal attractiveness of elementary school students. The program consists of intervention subjects, intervention objectives, counselor competencies, implementation steps, success criteria, tools and media used, matrices, and Guidance and Counseling Service Activity Units
