Early Childhood Education and Development Studies ECEDS merupakan salah satu jurnal pendidikan anak usia dini yang menerbitkan, artikel penelitian, laporan studi lapangan, laporan studi kasus, kajian pustaka baik sekala lokal, nasional maupun internasional. Artikel yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal ini adalah tulisan asli yang berlum pernah dipublikasian di jurnal manapun. Tujuan Jurnal ECEDS dimaksud adalah sebagai wadah untuk menyebarluaskan informasi yang konstruktif untuk kemajuan pendidikan anak usia dini. Artikel yang akan dipublish memuat informasi dan isu-isu yang sifatnya terkini sesuai dengan perkembangan anak pendidikan anak usia dini. <![CDATA[This research aims to describe the form of participation of parents and community leaders in the performance of PAUD Kotenwalang at Latonliwo Village, Tanjung Bunga District, East Flores Regency. The subjects of this study were the principal, teachers and student parents at PAUD Kotenwalang; as well as residents and community leaders at Latonliwo Village. Data were collected by interviews and observations during the study. The results showed that the forms of parent participation in PAUD Kotenwalang are work partners, liaison of PAUD with the home, supporter of PAUD, involved as volunteers, and supporter of educational goals. While the form of participation of community is as motivator, contributor of resources, and improving the quality of PAUD. The interesting thing found in this study was the highly involvement of parents and community leaders in the performance of PAUD Kotenwalang.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to develop learning media in the form of a pyramid of numbers to develop the cognitive aspects of children aged 5-6 years. The development model used is Borg and Gall which consists of six stages. Products developed will be validated by a team of experts. The small scale subjects are 5 children and the large scale subjects are 15 children. The instrument used to collect data is an observation sheet. The results showed that the validation results of material experts obtained a score of 24 with an average value of 3.4 in the "good" category, the results of the media expert validation obtained a score of 31 with an average value of 3.8 in the "good" category. The results of the observations obtained that the percentage of pretest success was 46% (MB) and posttest 80% (BSB) and the results of hypothesis testing between pretest and posttest using the t-test was 1 < 2,048. From these results, it can be concluded that the number pyramid learning media is feasible to use to develop the cognitive aspects of children aged 5-6 years.]]>

<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the use of instructional media that is not in accordance with the characteristics of students which causes students to be uninterested and less active during the learning process so that student learning outcomes decline. This study aims to determine the improvement of the process of learning under passing by using a hanging ball media on the fourthgrade students of the SD Negeri Waikoro. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles, in each cycle there are four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 15 class IV students of Waikoro Public Elementary School consisting of 15 students consisting of 11 male students and 4 female students. The physical condition of students is physically and mentally healthy. The results showed that by using hanging ball media can improve the results of learning under passing in class IV SD Negeri Waikoro, in cycle I and cycle II, the results of learning to pass under the first cycle, the average value obtained was 70.55 with completeness classical 33.33%. In cycle II the average value of students increased to 81.11 with classical completeness reaching 93.33%]]>

<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitain ini adalah untuk mengetahui profil kompetensi tutor paket C. Secara khusus tujuan kajian ini untuk mendapatkan data dan informasi tentang: (1) Tingkat kualifikasi Pendidikan Tutor Program Paket C pada saat ini dan (2) Profil kompetensi pedagogik dan andragogik tutor pendidikan kesetaraan pada saat ini. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 41 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1). Persentase tertinggi kualifikasi tutor adalah kualifikasi S1 (92.7%). Kualifikasi tersebut umumnya adalah dari program S1 Pendidikan. Urutan kedua adalah kualifikasi SMA (4.9%), dan kualifikasi S2 (2.4%) Hal in menunjukkan sebagian besar tutor kualifikasinya sudah qualified dan hanya keahlian mengajarnya yang masih mismatch. (2). Profil kompetensi pedagogik dan andragogik tutor paket C rata-rata masih 53,9%. Kompetensi tutor diketahui berdasarkan pemahaman dan persepsi tutor terhadap setiap instrument penelitian. Dari hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar tutor kualifikasinya sudah qualified akan tetapi keahlian mengajarnya masih miss-match dan profil kompetensi pedagogik, andragogik tutor paket C berada pada posisi baik (53.9%) Kata Kunci: Kompetensi, tutor paket C, PNF-SKB]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan proses Belajar dari Rumah (BDR) yang dilaksanakan oleh peserta didik dari Kelompok Bermain Kurnia Bakunase. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Waktu penelitian dari bulan Mei-Juni 2021 yang berlangsung di Kelompok Bermain Kurnia, Bakunase, Kota Kupang NTT. Informan dari penelitian ini berjumlah dua belas orang anak (semua peserta didik di KB Kurnia pada Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021) yang berusia empat sampai lima tahun, satu orang guru, dan orangtua murid. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu Kelompok Bermain Kurnia memiliki strategi khusus dalam melaksanakan proses Belajar dari Rumah (BDR) yang tidak menyulitkan orangtua dan anak seperti belajar tidak selalu melalui daring, adanya workshop sebelum orangtua menjalankan BDR bersama anak, orangtua dan anak tidak harus menyelesaikan semua tugas dalam satu hari, orangtua diberikan kebebasan untuk memanfaatkan alat dan bahan di rumah menjadi media pembelajaran dan penilaian dilakukan oleh orangtua sendiri karena orangtualah yang paling memahami perkembangan anak yang tentunya dengan bimbingan dari guru.]]>

<![CDATA[This study is underpinned by the salient issues apparent in the realm of children's cognitive development. The primary objective of this investigation is to ascertain the extent to which the cognitive advancement of children, specifically in problem-solving through Maze activities, can be augmented subsequent to the application of task assignment methodologies. The method used is data collection, using the assignment method while the data analysis method is descriptive analysis. The problem raised in this research is whether the application of the method of giving assignments through doing a maze (finding traces) can solve simple problems in the cognitive field in children. In this study, it produced data taken based on a survey of students at the State Kindergarten in Tukadmungga Village. With these data, it can be seen that the effectiveness of tracking activities to improve cognitive abilities in children aged 5 to 6 years is very effective.]]>

<![CDATA[The use of hand puppets to improve children's speaking skills in group A TK Aisiyah Bustanul Athfal Dalam, Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency, Academic Year 2020/2021. The problem discussed in this study is how to use hand puppets to improve children's speaking skills through hand puppets. The goal to be achieved in this study was to find out how far the speaking ability or speaking skills of children through Aisiyah Bustanul Athfal (ABA) Taliwang District, West Sumbawa Regency, 20 children were able to use hand puppets in their speaking skills, the rest were still shy. The research was conducted for a week and the data collected was quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative data is data obtained from the results of formative tests in each cycle. While the qualitative data is in the form of observations in each learning cycle. The data obtained is then consulted with the success criteria to find out the child's learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the roles of a teacher is to create a conducive ang enjoyable learning atmosphere, thereby increasing children’s interest in participating in learning activities. However, the observed reality at TK Mawar Sari Binaan Maleipea is that the students are not interested in participating in the early learning activities, which also affects subsequent learning activities. To address this issue, teachers play a significant role in enhancing students’ interest in participating in the early learning activities. This is the primary focus that the researcher in interested in investigating, leading to the necessity for conducting a study with the title: The Role of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Teachers in Enhancing Students’ Interest to Participate in Early Learning Activities at TK Mawar Sari Binaan Maleipea. With the formulation of the problem, namely what is the teacher's role in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities at Mawar Sari Kindergarten Fostered by Maleiea? The purpose of this writing is to find out the teacher's role in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities. This research was carried out in the TK Mawar Sari Fostered by Maleipea and the research subjects were assigned to 4 teachers. Data collection techniques are interviews and observation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that the teacher's role in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities was very successful. This can be seen from the teacher's role from the five aspects of children's abilities, namely aspects of concentration, cognitive aspects, emotional aspects, language aspects and social aspects. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the role of the TK Mawar Sari Fostered Maleipea teacher in increasing students' interest in participating in early learning activities.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the teaching areas for kindergarten children is learning the alphabet. The introduction to letters is crucially taught because if one of the language activities is reading, then the absolute requirement for a child to read is to recognize letters first. This article aims to explain the efforts that can be made to improve alphabet recognition using the method of playing letter cards. The problem investigated in this research is how to enhance the ability to recognize letters among children in Group A of TK Kemala Bhayangkari Ruteng. This study employs the Classroom Action Research technique, and the number of research subjects is 20 children, consisting of 8 females and 12 males. The research results indicate that the effort of alphabet recognition using the method of playing letter cards makes children more interested in the learning process activities and enhances their language skills. There is an improvement from Cycle I to Cycle II, and the learning process becomes more enjoyable for the children as they are delighted and actively engaged in playing and arranging the letter cards.]]>
