Abstract

Occupational safety and health is very often ignored by small-scale industry players, either because (1) lack of knowledge about the causes of work accidents and (2) because of limited capital to obtain adequate work safety facilities. They think that these two things are problems that cannot be solved. To anticipate this incident, it is necessary to make efforts to prevent work accidents that can overcome the two problems mentioned above. Implementation of the theory of Occupational Safety and Health to prevent accidents at work is the best solution. The formulation of the problem: (1) is there a change in safety behavior towards workers after Occupational Safety and Health training (2) is there a change in K3 knowledge of workers after Occupational Safety and Health training, (3) Is there an effect of age on safe behavior towards workers after training Occupational Safety and Health (4) Is there an effect of age on the knowledge of K3 for workers after the Occupational Health and Safety training? The research method is Quasi Experimental. The number of samples is 31 workers. The results of the study were that there was no change in safety behavior towards workers after Occupational Safety and Health training, (2) There was a change in K3 knowledge of workers after Occupational Safety and Health training (3) There was no effect of age on safe behavior towards workers after Occupational Safety and Health training. and (4) There is an effect of age on the knowledge of K3 for workers after the Occupational Health and Safety training. Suggestion: it is necessary to do more research with a longer time.

Abstract

Penyakit infeksi cacing merupakan salah satu penyakit yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan pada anak-anak di negara berkembang, terutama pada anak-anak yang belum bisa menjaga personal hygiene. Faktor lain yang dapat meningkatkan angka kejadian kecacingan adalah pengetahuan ibu dalam mencegah dan mengobati infeksi kecacingan. Metode kegiatan ceramah dan pemeriksaan feses metode Direct slide. Hasil kegiatan diperoleh yaitu pengisian kuesioner pengetahuan ibu tentang infeksi kecacingan, ibu yang memiliki pengetahuan kurang sebesar 60%, cukup 26,66% dan baik 13,33%, namun setelah dilakukan promkes maka hasil pengisian kuesioner pengetahuan ibu kurang 0%, cukup 13,33% dan baik 86,66%. Hasil pemeriksaan feses pada anak-anak dengan rentang usia 5-12 tahun dari 15 spesiment ditemukan 4 spesiment positif telur cacing STH dengan jenis telur cacing Ascaris lumbricoides fertil (dibuahi) dan telur cacing Trichuris trichiur, sedangkan 11 sampel lainnya negatif

Abstract

Organic fertilizers come directly from plant or animal sources. One type of organic fertilizer is bokashi fertilizer. Bokashi fertilizer is produced from the fermentation of organic materials such as compost and manure by utilizing the help of decomposing microorganisms such as microbes or fermenting fungi. The result is in the form of solid fertilizer and the condition has decomposed so that it contains more macro and micro nutrients which are ready to be absorbed by plant roots. The use of organic fertilizers in agriculture is in accordance with agricultural efforts in harmony with nature which is healthy and brings benefits to both the soil and also to humans. The vegetable farming community in Tarus Village is one of the producers of vegetables that are supplied to the needs of the city of Kupang. Healthy vegetables presuppose the use of organic fertilizers, not chemical fertilizers. The high level of interest in the people of Kupang City for healthy vegetables has made vegetable farmers try to adjust production to consumer demand. The training on making bokashi fertilizer is beneficial for vegetable farmers in the Tarus Village to answer the needs and health of consumers.

Abstract

One of the important aspects in the transmission of Covid-19 is maintaining the cleanliness of household tools and objects used in daily life to minimize the transmission of the Covid-19 virus through household appliances, so that it plays a role in preventing Covid-19 infection. Purpose of this Community Service is to introduce home care products from the Department of Electromedical Engineering that are useful in society due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The scope includes the impact of new habits that exist in society today during the Covid-19 pandemic. This activity will be carried out using the socialization method and the practice of using electromedical devices and their benefits. This community service activity was carried out using the Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) approach which was coordinated by the Community Service team consisting of lecturers at the Poltekkes Kemenkes Jakarta II with different expertise backgrounds involving students at Poltekkes Emenkes Jakarta II. Activities carried out for 7 (seven) months. The results of the implementation of the activities show that there is an increase in knowledge points before and after education.

Abstract

The biggest potential possessed by Campurejo Village, Panceng-Gresik District is its natural resources which are close to the sea. This makes the majority of its peoples work as fishermen. The fish caught are usually sold directly in the market or processed into smoked fish. The smoking process is carried out conventionally. This can make the amount of smoked fish production limited each day. This activity aims to provide a solution to increasing the amount of smoked fish production produced every day by using more modern machines. After the machine has been made, a machine use workshop is held with the aim of providing information regarding the use and advantages of this machine. This machine has a capacity of 14 Watts, with an AC current source and a roasting time of 30 minutes to produce 5 kg of smoked fish.

Abstract

Clean water is one of the necessities that is used every day, therefore the quality of the water used must be clean, odorless and colorless. Because if you consume dirty water can cause various diseases such as diarrhea and skin diseases. Clean water can also be used as an effort to improve health status. By using clean water, we can avoid diseases such as diarrhea, cholera, dysentery, typhus, intestinal worms, skin diseases and poisoning. For this reason, it is mandatory for all family members to use clean water every day and maintain clean water quality in their environment. Based on observations made in the village of Balane, the use of cloudy water for daily consumption is due to a lack of knowledge about clean water and how to manage it, making this the objective of counseling on clean water management. This activity was carried out in the village of Balane Dusun I, Kinovaro District, Sigi Regency. The educational method used is lectures and the counseling media used is leaflets. The results of the counseling carried out are community knowledge regarding the importance of using clean water, managing clean water and the benefits of using clean water for health. Providing this counseling is a strategy to remind people of understanding and also increase public awareness of the importance of clean water for health in everyday life

Abstract

The development of internet technology is an interesting thing in the utilization of economic activities. E-commerce is one of the interesting topics that has surfaced in current business activities. Sales and promotion to expand the market is the main goal of using e-commerce. In this regard, the service team conducted e-commerce socialization activities for students at the Yayasan Al-Kamilah to provide participants with a basic understanding of the meaning of e-commerce and its forms. In carrying out the activity, the service team distributed pre-tests which were followed by socialization activities and distribution of post-tests. From the activities carried out, the participants were very enthusiastic about learning more of e-commerce, because the participants only understood about the marketplace. In addition, after the socialization activities, participants also understood the economic benefits of e-commerce.

Abstract

The purpuses of this activity are as follows: 1) socialization of Physics Education Study Program FKIP UNIPA, 2) Sharing knowledge in understanding physics concepts through visual aids. The socialization and community service activities at Manokwari 3 Public High School carried out by the Physics Education Department, FKIP UNIPA, went smoothly according to the schedule of events and the responses from the school, teachers and students were very kind by appreciating and thanking the presence of the team of lecturers and students of the Department of Physics Education who came to SMA Negeri 3 Manokwari and also provided props to be used in teaching physics at school.

Abstract

The community is expected to be able to play a role as actors in health development in maintaining, maintaining and improving their own health status and playing an active role in realizing public health. This hope is realized if it can empower communities and families, especially mothers in terms of feeding infants and children. This is very important because the mother in carrying out her role in the family provides food with sufficient nutrition for children as an ingredient in the process of growth and development. The problems found in the field are very complex related to toddlers. This is due to the availability of affordable access to nutritious food and the absence of easy early detection/screening tools to detect children who are experiencing malnutrition. The role of cadres in posyandu activities has not been maximized in terms of weighing weight, TB in posyandu activities and the role of cadres in providing supplementary food which is done every 2 weeks by the Puskesmas is not consumed by children but consumed by other family members. Families are expected to be able to prepare their children thoroughly so that children will have good adaptability in their environment. The role of the family in parenting has an important role, providing stimulation through games is a good thing to improve children's gross motor skills, fine motor skills, social independence and language. This family empowerment activity is an effort to increase promotive and preventive efforts to strengthen the quality of childcare with the target of family services, in addition to counseling and education in terms of strengthening the quality of care so that access can be utilized by all families in Indonesia. Solutions offered Seminars and training on infant and child feeding education and training on responsive feeding, Anthropometric measurements as a tool for measuring growth in children. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge, willingness and skills of partners in terms of knowledge and skills regarding infants and children.

Abstract

Markaz Hadits (MH) is a foundation that provides religious education with a core curriculum of memorizing the Quran and Hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad, at the level of junior high school (Tsanawiyah) and senior high school (‘Aliyah). The Tahfiz boarding school of Markaz Hadits Bilal bin Rabah Aliyah Legok is located in the village of Cirarab, where many of the residents work in factories, as sand and gravel transporters, farmers, and others. The boarding school is situated on a waqf land of approximately 800m2 with a mosque, classrooms, dormitories for students and teachers, as well as the school principal's residence. The mosque is the main facility for students to perform their worship and activities, and it also serves as a place of worship for the surrounding community. It is also a venue for conducting studies or lectures by speakers or teachers from various fields of knowledge, for students, the local community, as well as the school's mentors and supporters. To support these activities, a good audio sound system is required to amplify the adhan and other announcements, as well as for other activities. Therefore, an indoor and outdoor speaker system with optimal power and proper direction and placement is needed. The larger the space, the greater the power requirements, but it is important to consider power distribution. It is better to place several smaller speakers at specific points rather than one large speaker at a single point, and a suitable power amplifier to use is the Toa power amplifier.
