Abstract

The majority of people in Pisang Indah Village, Bumi Agung District, Way Kanan Regency, Lampung Province, are farmers. In farming, they use chemical fertilizers. Unfortunately, continuous use of chemical fertilizers can result in decreased soil quality and damage to soil structure. In order to replace chemical fertilizers with more affordable and ecologically friendly alternatives, socialization is being carried out on the manufacturing of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (Pupuk Organik Cair/POC) based on Local Microorganisms (Mikroorganisme Lokal/MOL). POC which comes from the fermentation of natural organic materials has become the main focus in efforts to increase plant productivity in a sustainable manner. This activity uses a descriptive-explanatory qualitative approach so that it presents practical steps to produce environmentally friendly and effective POC based on banana stems and rice washing water as an alternative fertilizer. The focus on the use of local organic materials, such as banana stems and rice washing water, is driving the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices in various agricultural communities. Through outreach activities and practical training, this article highlights farmers' interest and enthusiasm for POC as an alternative fertilizer that has the potential to provide good crop yields without damaging the environment. With the use of POC, it is hoped that in the future it can become the basis for efforts to empower farming communities in sustainable natural resource management to strengthen sustainable food security.

Abstract

Training in creating learning materials using Canva is becoming increasingly relevant in the context of modern education which is increasingly adopting technology. Canva, as an online graphic design platform, offers various features that enable teachers to create interesting, interactive and informative learning materials. However, this training also faces several challenges, including variations in technology skill levels among teachers and limited access and time. This research investigates the training process for creating learning materials using Canva and its impact on graphic design skills, use of technology, and student engagement in learning. The research results show that this training is effective in improving teachers' graphic design skills, expanding the use of technology in teaching, and increasing student engagement in the learning process. Practical implications of this research include the need for additional support and resources for teachers, as well as training approaches tailored to teachers' needs and skill levels. Further research could explore more effective strategies for overcoming these training-related challenges, as well as their long-term impact on the quality of learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this activity is to introduce and provide training and mentoring to students at SMK Grafika Yayasan Lektur Lebak Bulus in making designs easily using the Canva application, learning using the Canva application as material to improve competence and hard skills in the world of digital-based education. The expected benefits of this activity are that students know about design learning, competence, and hard skills in making designs using the Canva application making various image and video designs, learning that contains from introduction, and installation to practice making designs. The methods used are lectures, discussions, and mentoring methods. The activity was located at SMK Grafika Yayasan Lektur Lebak Bulus with 24 students. The results of the activities that all students have carried out can help, them understand, install, and use the Canva application to make good designs.

Abstract

Pre-menopause is the period before perimenopause which is characterized by the beginning of decreased reproductive function until the appearance of vegetative complaints or other signs of menopause. Menopause is a biological stage of women, which is characterized by the cessation of menstruation after 12 consecutive months. The incidence of menopause in Indonesia on average occurs at the age of 45-55 years in 90% of women. About 5% will occur after age 55. Data from the Central Statistics Agency in 2021 when compared to the total population of Indonesia at the age of 40-45 years is 21.88% and the population of productive age between 15-64 years is 70.72% of the total population of 270.20 million people. The results of interviews with the head of the PKK and Mrs. RT 03 Mangliawan Village, District, Malang Regency that the partner's problem is the many vegetative complaints felt by PKK member mothers in the form of hot flushes, insomnia, dyspareunia, and osteoporosis as well as the habit of drinking less water. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge about healthy lifestyles and knowledge of handling pre-menopause and menopause vegetative complaints with obstetrics and acupuncture approaches. Method of Implementation of activities using pre-test and post-test techniques with interventions in the form of health promotion. Pamphlet and questionnaire instruments. The results of this activity showed that there was an increase in knowledge of healthy lifestyles (p = 0.001) and the level of knowledge of handling pre- and menopausal vegetative complaints (p = 0,000). This activity concludes that there is a success of health promotion activities by increasing knowledge of healthy lifestyles and knowledge of handling vegetative complaints in empowering family welfare of mothers.

Abstract

The independent curriculum requires teachers to have an enthusiastic, active, innovative, creative, and skilled attitude. One form of innovation for teachers is to create LKPD with a contextual approach that encourages students to be active and creative. However, the LKPD made by teachers is still in the form of questions and exercises that only measure the ability to answer right or wrong, and the concepts are not yet linked to students' real lives. Thus, the purpose of this service is to train junior high school math teachers in creating LKPD using a contextual approach. CBR is the method used in this service, along with practice techniques, Q&A sessions, and lectures. The three stages of an activity are preparation, execution, and evaluation. The results of the service showed that participants were able to understand and create LKPD using a contextual approach. This can be seen from the results of the pre-test and post-test evaluations that have been carried out. Apart from that, based on the service activity questionnaire that was distributed to participants, they received a positive response, and participants wanted sustainable service activities.

Abstract

Desa Sangiran merupakan Desa Wisata yang dikukuhkan pada tahun 2021 oleh pemerintah kabupaten setempat dan langsung terkena dampak Covid - 19 selama dua tahun hingga saat ini. Pengembangan Desa Wisata ini baru dilakukan oleh masyarakat setempat dan masih belum terkoordinasi dengan maksimal. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa wisata Sangiran terletak di Desa Krikilan Kecamatan Kalijambe Kabupaten Sragen Propinsi Jawa Tengah. Adapun tema kegiatan ini adalah Pendampingan Bagi Masyarakat Di Sekitar Desa Wisata Sangiran. Pedampingan kepada Masyarakat sudah terlaksana sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. Jumlah peserta pelatihan adalah 30 orang masyarakat usia produktif. Para peserta sangat antusias selama mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan khususnya dalam materi- materi yang disampaiakan sehinga tercipta suasana aktif dan diskusi mengenai tata Kelola desa wisata. Penilaian para peserta mengenai kegiatan pelatihan ini sudah tertuang dalam kuesioner yang dibagikan panitia, dan secara umum penilaian terhadap kegiatan ini baik sekali. Baik peserta maupun PJ. Kepala Desa Krikilan beserta Sekretaris Desa dan Ketua Pengelola Sadar Wisata memberikan kesan dan pesan yang baik pada kegiatan ini. Mereka menyampaikan terima kasih dan mengharapkan kegiatan pelatihan yang diberikan dalam jangka waktu yang panjang dan secara berkelanjutan di Desa wisata Sangiran, Kecamatan Kalijambe Kabupaten Sragen.

Abstract

Elderly people are part of the life process that cannot be avoided and will be experienced by every human being. Objective: to help the elderly community in the area of the Lukas Church of Maria Kusuma Karmel Parish, West Jakarta, Meruya Selatan Subdistrict to improve their quality of life, especially in the physical domain, through counseling activities, health services and treatment so that it is hoped that it can improve the quality of life of the elderly. Method: Health services were provided to 60-70 elderly people in South Meruya Village. The service team consists of 6 lecturers and 3 students. Blood pressure, height and weight, glucose, uric acid and cholesterol were measured. Results: High blood pressure was checked for around 37% of elderly people, 33% for cholesterol, 10% for glucose and 57% for uric acid. Conclusion: Regular health checks are an important part of comprehensive prevention and management of chronic diseases. Family and local community support can help elderly residents undergo treatment to improve their quality of life.

Abstract

Markaz Hadits (MH) is a foundation that provides religious education with the core material of memorizing the Koran and the Hadith of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, at junior high school (Tsanawiyah) and high school ('Aliyah) levels. Tahfiz Markaz Hadits Bilal bin Rabah Aliyah Legok Islamic Boarding School, is located in the village of Cirarab, where many of the residents make their living as factory workers, freelance workers transporting sand and gravel, farmers and others. This Islamic boarding school is located on waqf land of approximately 800m2 with a mosque, classrooms, student and teacher dormitories as well as the principal's residence. The mosque is the main facility where students carry out worship and activities, it is also a place of worship for local residents and is also a place where studies or lectures are carried out by resource persons or teachers from various scientific backgrounds, both for students, the surrounding community and the supervisors and administrators of Islamic boarding school activities. To support these activities, a good audio sound system is needed to carry out the call to prayer as well as other announcements and other forms of activities. For this reason, indoor out loudspeakers with optimal power and the right direction and location are needed, the wider the area, the greater the power requirement. However, what needs to be paid attention to is the power distribution. It is better to place several speakers with smaller power spread out at certain points than large power speakers but only placed at one point and the right power amplifier is to use a Toa power amplifier. To optimize the indoor sound system of the mosque at the Tahfiz Markaz Hadits Bilal Bin Rabah Aliyah Legok Islamic Boarding School, the PKM Team for the Electrical Engineering Study Program at Pamulang University carried out a PKM entitled Training on Mosque Area Sound System Installation at the Tahfidz Markaz Hadits Bilal Bin Rabah Islamic Boarding School Cirarab Legok Tangerang Banten.

Abstract

One of the pests that is a problem for plants is rats. As a result, it can cause a decrease in production, crop failure and can even cause plants to die and losses to farmers. To overcome rat pest attacks, it is necessary to control them. Farmers have not received much information on control efforts derived from natural ingredients. Hence, in this service activity, outreach was carried out on "The Use of Natural Ingredients as Rodenticides and Rat Repellents to Farmer Groups in Negeri Agung Village, Gunung Pelindung District." The results show an increase in knowledge and understanding among participants from the low category of 40% to the high category of 90%, with an average increase of 50%.
