Abstract

Sungai Langsat Village has beautiful natural conditions and has tourist attraction and potential which if developed provides opportunities for this village to become a tourist village. The methodology used in carrying out this aspiration absorption activity is the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method. The result of this program is that the people of Sungai Langsat village, who initially did not know what a tourist village was, became aware of it and the response given by the village community regarding building a tourist village was also quite good. It is hoped that the village government can increase the participation of the village community based on the results of the study conducted, and for the community it is hoped that it will be more active in participating in village development, especially in village tourism planning which at the same time moves and grows the economy of rural communities

Abstract

In development planning, a village must have a plan that can be used as a reference in implementing the development of a village, both in terms of physical and non-physical development. In accordance with Article 4 of Permendagri No. 114/2014, village development plans are prepared in a time-framed manner including: Village Medium-Term Development Plans (RPJM Desa) for a period of 6 years; and the Village Annual Development Plan or the so-called Village Government Work Plan (RKP Desa), is an elaboration of the Village RPJM for a period of 1 (one) year and is stipulated by village regulations. The method used in the preparation of the Paku Village Medium-Term Development Plan to realize a disaster-responsive village is the method of discussion or exchanging ideas between village officials. The initial stage of preparation in the preparation of the Village RPJM to be able to realize a disaster-responsive nail village. The discussion stage for the preparation of the RPJMDes of Paku Village was carried out at the Paku Village Head's Office and assisted by the Head of the RPJMDes Preparation Team, namely Mr. Kusnadiansyah and the Paku Village Head discussing the disaster response village.

Abstract

The tourism potential of the Flower River can be further developed if there is good management of structured tourism awareness groups under the supervision of the village government. In addition, the embodiment of Sapta Pesona (safe, orderly, clean, relaxed, beautiful, friendly, and memorable) in the Flower River creates a conducive and ideal environment for the development of tourism activities in a place. The purpose of the service is to increase public awareness to create an ideal Tourism Village based on 7 Sapta Pesona. The methodology used to develop the potential of this village is through the socialization of Awakening, the Sapta Pesona-Based Tourism Village, and the Development of Tourism Awareness Groups. From this activity, it will increase understanding of developing the tourism potential of Aranio Village, open up the insight of Flower River tourism managers so that they can plan programs that can rebuild Flower River tourism, the village government obtains the necessary reforms to revive tourist villages and can form legally aware tourism groups.

Abstract

The education sector has implemented online learning, but now face-to-face learning can be carried out again by following the rules and complying with health protocols. SDN Cabi, Simpang Empat District, Banjar Regency also conducts face-to-face learning activities. The activity begins on August 30, 2021 which is carried out in stages. The method used is by using learning methods through mind mapping media, simulations or direct practice to students, and forming new habits systematically or in accordance with the steps of application starting from home, entering the school environment, and leaving the school environment. This can become a habit for students and is more organized or systematic. The material presented consists of: (1) how to wash hands properly and correctly, and (2) provide explanations accompanied by posters about the importance of complying with the implementation of 6M, namely maintaining distance, wearing masks, washing hands, avoiding crowds, reducing mobility, and avoiding eating together.

Abstract

At the beginning of the year, high rainfall triggered overflows of river water which, in flooding, one of which was in Sungai Tabuk Village, Simpang Empat District, Banjar Regency. The purpose of this service is to provide knowledge about potential disasters, characteristics, impacts, and cycles of flood disaster management for the village government and the people of Sungai Tabuk Village. The methodology used to provide understanding and increase awareness and improve communication between communities is through the Socialization of Flood Disaster Resilient. The stages in this service activity are the preparation stage, the stage of implementing online socialization and the stage of achieving the target. From this activity, it will increase public understanding and awareness to know the threat of disasters in their area so that they are able to organize and reduce disaster risk to reduce vulnerability to disasters with preparedness and make efforts to prevent and recover post-floods.

Abstract

The flood disaster that hit Kabupaten Banjar in early 2021 maded these area got disaster alert status. The flood disaster struck and also coincided with the Covid-19 pandemic disaster made people affected by floods aware of the importance of disaster mitigation and also the importance of a village being prepared to face possible disasters. KKN-Tematik Fisip ULM which carries the theme "Village Tourism and Disasters Resilient Village" aims to develop villages according to the potential and problems they need to face. From this KKN-Tematik Fisip activities, it is hoped that it can build the village into a disaster-resilient village or village tourism. The socialization of disaster volunteerism in Sungkai Baru village is hoped that the community will understand the mechanism of volunteerism by cooperating with the Banjar Regency BPBD as a speaker.

Abstract

COVID-19 was declared a national disaster on February 29, 2020, the government recommends that all health services focus on and prioritize handling COVID-19 and other health problems that are considered medical emergencies. Changes in health service priorities decreasing Sexual and Reproductive Health (KSR) services that are not included in medical emergency services. This restriction certainly makes it difficult for adolescents who need direct services such as STI checks or other reproductive health complaints (Sutrisna, 2020). Problems regarding menstruation are a problem for most women in Indonesia (38.45%) (Damayanti, 2013; Yunita et al, 2021). Service activities carried out online using an application attended by 90 junior high school students were health counseling activities regarding health education for young women: premenstrual syndrome. At the end of the activity, it was found that the majority of the levels of premenstrual syndrome experienced by 43 participants (47.8%) were moderate.

Abstract

Learning is the obligation of every individual. English is a compulsory subject for elementary school to high school students. English is required not only as a fulfillment of mastery learning in schools but also future necessities in facing the era of globalization. The current pandemic situation requires children to study online at home and this is not easy for some people. The impact of the pandemic is comprehensive. Not a few children drop out of school due to their inability to receive lessons or the absence of online learning support facilities and furthermore economic factors that do require children not to be able to continue their education formally. The service team took the initiative to carry out service in locations where there were indeed children who had dropped out of school both before and after the pandemic occurred. This service is in the form of face-to-face English language training by implementing health protocols on Jalan Otto Iskandardinata or well-known as Otista. This service aims to train children with basic knowledge of communicating English and provide an understanding of the importance of education for the future.

Abstract

IuM socialization of top games for Samarinda Muhammadiyah 6 Middle School students has several objectives: (1) to increase the concentration of junior high school students; (2) giving socialization to junior high school students about traditional top games; (3) increasing the interest of junior high school students in top games, (4) efforts to preserve traditional East Kalimantan games. In the current era the game is very minimal played by teenagers. This is due to the existence of modern games or online games that are more fun to be played by teenagers. Through this socialization, it is hoped that it can increase the interest of adolescents, especially students of towards top games. In addition, this service is expected to preserve local culture. The form of socialization of this service involved top players from the Kutai Kartanegara district to demonstrate how to play top. In the early stages of this service activity, the target of the IuM service team was all students. With the main goal of preserving East Kalimantan's local culture. Based on the results of the implementation of service in the form of socialization of the top games to increase the concentration of students. The results obtained were an increase in students' understanding of the top game, and students knew how to benefit from the top game in increasing concentration. In addition, the practice of how to play the top game, students were very enthusiastic in playing the top game.

Abstract

This community service aims to develop the human resources of pencak silat trainers in East Kalimantan Province by increasing their understanding of coaching theory and their ability to plan training programmes. This service activity is carried out in collaboration with the East Kalimantan IPSI. The trainees totaled 93 pencak silat trainers used lectures, discussions, and practise methods over the course of two days. The outcomes of this service activity include the following: (1) establishment of cooperation between the FKIP UMKT Sports Education Study Program and the IPSI of East Kalimantan Province; (2) enhancement of human resources and trainers' competence in areas such as coaching knowledge and training programme design; and (3) implementation of community service programmes. The service concludes that collaboration and collaboration between the Sports Education Study Program FKIP UMKT and the IPSI in East Kalimantan is a strategic step toward improving human resources and the competence of pencak silat trainers in sport science-based sports coaching theory. This collaboration between agencies can be expanded to include the implementation of additional programmes aimed at increasing the human resources and competence of pencak silat trainers in East Kalimantan
