Jurnal Eksperimental merupakan media ilmiah pendidikan bagi guru madrasah ibtidaiyah yang diterbitkan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah STI Tarbiyah Al-Hilal Sigli. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali setahun yaitu pada bulan Juli dan Desember. Selanjutnya, jurnal ini diterbitkan dalam dua versi, yaitu cetak dan online. Fokus jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel penelitian tentang Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Pendidikan Guru SD/MI/SD, seperti analisis kompetensi, strategi pembelajaran, teori pembelajaran, pengembangan pembelajaran, profesionalisme pendidik, dan hasil penelitian. Reviewer akan meninjau setiap makalah yang dikirimkan ke redaksi jurnal eksperimental.

Abstract

Talking about the concept of education cannot be separated from the curriculum. Because the competence of graduates has been decided, the necessary framework and scope of materials to be prepared to be learned and mastered by teachers as main actors of education as stated in Government Regulation No. 20, 2003 of the national education system, in chapter 19 verse one: that the curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements concerning the objectives, content, and materials and how are used as guidelines for learning activities to achieve specific educational goals. The concept of IPS education in this case is an idea that describes the relationship between two or more facts such as the concept of "human needs", which deals with a variety of things, such as clothing, food, safety, education, love, and prestige. The concept can also be interpreted as symbols or ideas created by the students to understand the experiences that occur repeatedly, social sciences (IPS) is not a field of study or discipline, but rather of a social problem and phenomena. Thus, IPS is the study of society and human– it is a social science which is derived from the social.

Abstract

One of the aims of this research is to implement the use of nature as the source of learning in class X MAN 4 Pidie of the academic year 2018/2019. This study is a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subjects of the research were the students of MAN 4 class X. They were 36 students. The object of the study is biology in class X – which was implemented through the use of nature as media to learn. The result indicated that there were improvements in students understanding through learning by nature, it can be seen that the percentage was increased in each cycle. Cycle I, 65.25 %, cycle II, 91. 5 %. It was increased 26,25%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to notice the effectiveness of project-based learning models of the course laboratory management towards students ' creativity PGMI STIT Al-Hilal Sigli. The method used in this research is an experimental method or pre-experiment which was designed using the one-group pretest-posttest. The population were PGMI students of academic year 2015/2016, while the sample in this research is the V semester students taking course of the Laboratory Management I academic year 2015/2016. There were two data collection techniques used in this study, the technique of observation and examination technique. The instruments used in this study i.e., questionnaire, observation sheet and test. The results showed that project-based learning in the laboratory management course is effective against student creativity of PGMI students at Al-Hilal Sigli

Abstract

The lower result of students achievements in the last few years were influenced by several factors, among others are the methods used by the teacher which are not appropriate in the teaching and learning process. This research was conducted to know the improvement of learning outcomes. This study used the Quasi Experimental design through The Matching-Only Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design which was done at SMP Negeri 2 Delima. The sample used was a purposive sampling – that was an experimental class treated with a Cooperative learning model and a control class taught by conventional methods. Data collection was done by pretest and posttest to find out the improvement in student learning outcomes. The N-gain test showed the average score of students taught with the CL model has increased by 71% in the excellent category, while the average score of students taught with conventional learning methods has increased by 36% in the category medium

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the achievement and improvement of mathematical communication skill of SMP 1 Lembang students on functional and straight line equations, and examine the interactions between learning and KAM towards the improvement of students’ mathematical communication skills. This research is a quasi-experimental, with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design. The population of this study were whole eighth grade students at one of the junior high schools in Lembang city. The sample was determined using purposive sampling. The sample consisted of two classes, which were the experimental class that taught with contextual approaches, and the control class that received expository learning. The instrument used was a test of students' communication skills. The findings of this study were: (1) Achievement and improvement of mathematical communication skills of students who tutored by a contextual approach better than students who obtained regular learning both as a whole and KAM. (2) There is no interaction between learning and KAM (high, medium, low) towards the achievement of students' mathematical communication skills.
