National development that lasts all the time, then the development of higher education is still prioritized by the government to continue to grow, including the role and duties of lecturers. Strategy setting is part of long-term development. The goal is in the most appropriate way in the future to be able. Improving the quality of higher education can not be separated from the quality of human resources owned. Therefore, improving the quality of the behavior and behavior of lecturers as teachers through education channels and effective training programs in their work is needed. With qualified human resources, it is expected that higher education will become an institution capable of effectively facing the challenges of the future.

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of KKNI based (Indonesian national qualifications framework) curriculum toward the improvement of the education quality of PTAIN (State collage for islamic studies). The method of discussion done by the author is the observation at IAIN Bengkulu, equipped by literature study that packaged using descriptive qualitative analysis based on some opinions, Thought and reviews from experts in the field of education, academics and education practitioners who are competent. The result shows that the implementation/ execution of KKNI through several stages including preparing the learning achievements, formulating a profile of graduates of study programs, formulating competency standards learning outcomes, formulating the achievement of learning courses, formulating the achiement of course learning outcomes/CLO, finding key concepts and keywords to the achievement of the learning courses, RPKPS development (planning programs and learning activities of the semester): The quality improvement of PTKIN influenced by the implementation / application of KKNI based curriculum through three main factors: (1) the adequacy of educational resources in terms of the quality of staff, cost and means of learning; (2) the quality of the learning process that encourages students to learn effectively and (3) the quality of output in form of knowledge and attitude skills. Then it can be recommended that PTKIN should immediately implement the curriculum of KKNI to improve the education quality of PTKIN

Indonesia sebagai sebuah bangsa yang majemuk, merupakan suatu fenomena yang tidak dapat kita hindari. Perjumpaan dalam perbedaan agama, suku, ras dan budaya menyatu menjadi ciri khas indonesia. Yogyakarta sebagai daerah otonom yang dikenal sebagai kota pelajar yang tidak terlepas dari sebuah kenyataan masyarakat yang majemuk. Masyarakat Yogyakarta dikenal sebagai kota yang menjunjung tinggi kearifan lokal dan rasa toleransi. Kasus salib terpotong do kotagede menjadikan Yogyakarta kota yang tidak toleran. Kasus dan peristiwa intoleransi kembali mengubah wajah Yogyakarta menjadi buruk. Kasus intoleran tentang pemotongan simbol salib dinisan seorang katolik yang terjadi di Kotagede Yogyakarta melukai nilai konstitusi. Kasus simbol salib pada nisan yang terpotong di Yogyakarta, menjadi tantangan dalam penerapan toleransi. Kasus ini menciderai kehidupan keberasaan dalam sebuah relasi interpersonal umat beragama, terkhusus Islam-Kristen.

The development of Islamic boarding schools today is not only a formal educational institution, but more broadly Islamic boarding schools play an active role in empowering and developing the surrounding community. The existence of Islamic boarding schools besides having an impact on improving the education of the surrounding community, also has an impact on improving other sectors. This study aims to analyze the impact of the existence of the Shuffah Hizbollah Islamic boarding school and Madrasah Al-Fatah Lampung on community development in Muhajirun Hamlet. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with research data sourced from literature review. The results of this study indicate that the Shuffah Hizbullah Islamic boarding school and Madrasah Al-Fatah have had an impact on community development in Muhajirun Hamlet and have had an impact on the surrounding community in terms of education, economy and health.Perkembangan pondok pesantren saat ini tidak hanya menjadi lembaga pendidikan formal, tetapi lebih luas pondok pesantren berperan aktif dalam memberdayakan dan mengembangkan masyarakat yang ada disekitarnya. Keberadaan pondok pesantren selain berdampak pada peningkatan pendidikan masyarakat sekitar, berdampak pula pada peningkatan sektor-sektor lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak keberadaan pondok pesantren Shuffah Hizbullah dan Madrasah Al-Fatah Lampung terhadap perkembangan masyarakat di Dusun Muhajirun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan data penelitian yang bersumber dari kajian pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pondok pesantren Shuffah Hizbullah dan Madrasah Al-Fatah memberikan dampak terhadap perkembangan masyarakat di Dusun Muhajirun dan memberikan dampak pada masyarakat sekitar dari segi pendidikan, ekonomi dan kesehatan.

Pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan slah satu unsure penting untuk digiatkan guna mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional yang seutuhnya. Dalam merealisasikan PAUD ini membutuhkan berbagai pendekatan dan strategi untuk memaksimalkan perkembangan dan pertumbuhan potensi anak. Pendekatan Active Learning, sistem Area, dan BCCT adalah bagian penting untuk dijadikan metode dalam pengembangan PAUD. Masing-masing pendekatan memiliki kelemahan dan kelebihan sesuai dengan sifat dan karakteristiknya, sehingga ketiga pendekatan ini penting untuk diketengahkan sebagai model perbandingan dalam penerapannya bagi PAUD.

New Islamic revivalism is a contemporary Islamic thought movement that seeks to cleanse and restore the understanding and practice of Islamic teachings to pure Islam. New Revivalism arises because of the internal prob- lems of Muslims and External and Western modem influences. New Revivalism in Pakistan emerged under the main character of Abul ‘A’la Al-Mawdudi with the idea that the life of Muslims should be governed by Islamic teachings in an Islamic state, which takes the form of “theo democracy”. For the realization of such a state, a gradual Islamic revolution should be undertaken, by first doing the Islamization of society. Hasan Al Bana with Kaffahnya Islamic concept through lkhwanu Muslimin trying to make it happen by utilizing all available potential, either individually or institutionally, so that Islam becomes a comprehensive, universal ldiology based on the original source; Al-qur’an and Sunnah. The Mus- lim Brotherhood movement became radicalized in the hands of Sayyid Qutub, so ready to conduct jihad fisabilillah. In Indonesia also found the movement of Revivalism both in the form of premodernist and postmodernist among others is padri movement, Muhammadiyah, The United of Islam, and in the form of more now among others is Jamaat Islam and Darul Arkam. This paper discusses strategies based learning multiple intelligences. Which has focused on the concept of multiple intelligences based learning strategies, training and developing 8 (eight) value of intelligence (Multiple Intelligences) and the contribution of multiple intelligences learning strategy based on National Education. Theory of multiple intelligences triggered by Howard Gardner, is used as an analytical tool, ie linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, musical, kinesthetic, interpersonal, and intrapersonalnya, natural. Pasang surut suatu pemerintahan sangat bergantung pada pemimpin saat itu, saat masa kepemimpinan Sultan Agung, Sultan agung banyak mengeluarkan kebijakan ekonomi yang sangat membantu dan menunjang perekonomin Mataram Islam. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apasa kebijakan perekonomian yang dikeluarkan pada masa Pemerintahan Sultan Agung dan bagaimana perkemngan perekonomian pada saat itu. Dalam bidang perekonomian sultan Agung memberikan dampak yang cukup baik, Mataram Islam mampu mencukupi kebutuhan pangan penduduk didalamnya. Ekonomi pertanian atau agraris merupakan sumber utama pendapatan kerajaan Mataram Islam. Dalam bidang kebudayaan adanya Islam Kjawen yang menyatukan tradisi dan kebudayaan unsur Hindu Budha yang menyatu dengan ajaran Islam. Adapun kebijakan yang dikeluarkan Sultan Agung dalam menstabilkan perekonomian sultan agung dengan menggunakan beberapa kebijakan yaitu: Pendistribusian tanah, kebijakan pertanian, kebijakan fiscal, dan membangun lembaga keuangan syariah. dengan kebijakan yang dikeluarkan oleh Sultan Agung ini penduduk Mataram berhasil mencapai kesejahteraan.

The paper aimed at discussing the nurturing effects of utilizing second hand as authentic materials for encouraging English as a foreign language (EFL) learning atmosphere among Madrasah learners. The paper was based on the community services program conducted by writer several months ago in collaboration with research and community services unit of IAIN Bengkulu. The program involved head master, English school teacher and 90 learners of Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Mambaul Ulum at central Bengkulu district. Quasi experiment reserach design was applied to testify the hypotheses. The raw data was analyzed by SPSS software program. The findings showed that authentic media impacts significantly towards students’ motivation and learning achievement. The research result also proved that the school teachers were motivated to design their own classroom teaching media. In conclusion, the authentic materials bring the real world into the classroom teaching, promoting learners’ motivation and learning achievement.
