Abstract

Technological developments have entered the world of education. Starting from the educational administration process to entering the delivery of learning materials in intracurricular and extracurricular activities. Entering the independent curriculum, extracurricular activities are activities that must be applied in schools, one of which is nature lovers activities at the high school level, namely SISPALA. At MAN 10 Jombang School, we have just established a student organization of nature lovers, which runs in the 2nd year so that students are minimal about nature-loving material. In delivering material in the form of an educational game carried out through electronic media, Android is an option because it is currently a communication tool that cannot be separated from teenagers and has an impact on changes in the game world, especially for online game activists. Like the snakes and ladders game, which has been played with board game media and equipped with a set of dice can be played by two or more players. The research method used in this study is the System Development Life Cycle Waterfall method is a method for software development. The sequence in the Waterfall Method is serial which starts from the process of planning, analyzing, designing, and implementing the system with a structured process using use case diagrams and Construct 2 as the software used. With the application that has been built later, it is expected to be able to provide benefits for users in adding material knowledge as a provision for mountain climbing.

Abstract

Electrical Power Installation Engineering at State Vocational High School 7 Surabaya giving lessons on electric lighting installation. In the process of teaching and learning, practical learning provides real provision regarding electrical lighting installation engineering material. Practical learning must be in accordance with the needs of human resources in the world of business and industry, this discrepancy will result in incompetent human resources in the industrial world. Based on the results of observations made at State Vocational High School 7 Surabaya, it was found that in the learning process students still did not have good critical thinking skills in completing school assignments, both theoretical and practical assignments. Therefore, the existence of this research is an effort to determine the effect of practical learning experiences and critical thinking skills on student learning outcomes. This research involved class XII students majoring in Electrical Power Installation Engineering (TITL) at State Vocational High School 7 Surabaya. The research method used is comparative causal research or what is commonly called the ex-post facto method. This research was conducted at State Vocational High School 7 Surabaya, Department of Electrical Installation Engineering with a population of students at State Vocational High School 7 Surabaya Class XII TITL Electrical Installation Engineering Expertise Program and the sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling. The data collection was obtained through a questionnaire to determine the level of practical learning experience, a description test to determine the level of critical thinking skills, and a multiple choice test to determine learning outcomes of knowledge competencies and observation to determine learning outcomes of skills competencies. Practical learning experience affects the learning outcomes of knowledge competencies based on partial tests with a t count (2.625) greater than t table (1.993) with a significance value of 0.011 <0.05. The practical learning experience has an effect on the learning outcomes of skill competencies based on the partial test with a t count (3.185) greater than t table (1.993) with a significance value of 0.002 <0.05. The ability to think critically affects the learning outcomes of knowledge competence based on the partial test with a t count (3.138) greater than t table (1.993) with a significance value of 0.002 <0.05. The ability to think critically affects the learning outcomes of skill competencies based on the partial test with a t count (2.716) greater than t table (1.993) with a significance value of 0.008 <0.05. Practical learning experience and critical thinking skills affect learning outcomes of knowledge competency based on multiple linear regression analysis with a calculated F value (4.979) greater than F table (3.13) with a significance value of 0.009 <0.05. Practical learning experience and critical thinking skills affect learning outcomes of skill competencies based on multiple linear regression analysis with a calculated F value (5.100) greater than F table (3.13) with a significance value of 0.009 <0.05.

Abstract

Filling reservoir water automatically using a pressure switch and radar is still not effective, because it cannot know how much water is in the reservoir in real time and how much water comes out of the reservoir. In addition, there is a problem with drilled wells where the source of water is not always available, when the well runs out the water pump will run continuously and can cause damage to the water pump. Therefore this study aims to make reservoir water filling automatic, maintain water availability in reservoirs, monitor water in reservoirs in real time, remote control and protect water pumps when well water supplies run out. This research was made using the ESP32 microcontroller, water flow sensor, water switch sensor and also utilizing the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor. This research produces a tool that can work well for monitoring how much water is in the reservoir, turning off or on the pump automatically based on the water level in the reservoir, monitoring how much water discharge comes out of the reservoir and monitoring whether or not there is input of water into the reservoir so that the water pump does not lights up continuously when the well or reservoir water runs out to prevent damage to the water pump. All of these systems are controlled by the ESP32 microcontroller which is connected to the internet of things and Android devices so that they can be monitored in real time.

Abstract

Currently, ordering menus at Sunny cafes and restaurants is still manual. Ordering menus that are still manual creates a problem, namely when the customer has finished selecting a menu, the customer does not know the total price of the order. Customers who come together at the same time will cause a buildup of order queues. From these problems, we get a solution by building a menu ordering system using a website-based QR Code using the PHP programming language, the CodeIgniter Framework, MySQL as a database and using UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a design. The purpose of making this system is so that customers can easily get information on menu catalogs and prices without having to ask the waiter. A menu ordering system at Sunny cafes and restaurants using QR codes has been successfully created.

Abstract

To find out the development of the livestock sector, the Livestock Service Office of Kampar Regency collects data on livestock in Kampar Regency. The data is then processed in excel and then reported to the relevant agencies. Data collection with this system creates problems of difficulty in processing and searching data. The more data that is recorded, the more difficult the process of processing and searching for data. As a solution, a web-based Kampar Regency livestock data collection system was built using the codeigniter framework  and made using the php programming language and mysql database as well as a design modeled with UML (Unified Modeling Language). The purpose of this system is to facilitate livestock data collection and more efficient data processing and searching. The results can facilitate data management by the Livestock Service Office of Kampar Regency, present information about livestock in Kampar Regency and a more efficient data collection and processing process.

Abstract

Tonec Vision is a company engaged in multimedia, photography, and graphic design. The address is Griya harmony No. 02 Jombor Village, Tuntang District. This company offers quite a variety of services including video shooting, pre-wedding photos, weddings, then digital printing. In today's digital era, which is advancing rapidly, it is easier for humans to receive information. This has a big influence on business people, to do a lot of innovation. Publication media such as company profiles are needed by business people. Company profile aims to inform the existence of a company with detailed information. Information that must be in a company includes company history, vision and mission, form of service or product and company contacts. In addition, the company profile itself has an important role in the business growth of a company. So far, the Tonec Vision company in publishing its business is still through print media such as brochures, mmt, and through the website. This is still lacking in providing information to the public, so it is necessary to add interesting media to attract people to the company. The purpose of this study is to design a motion graphic-based company profile, this company profile design is used to complement the previous publication media. The final result of this company profile is in the form of interactive media which contains company information made with motion graphic techniques. In the use of motion graphics, different elements such as animation, photography, typography, and music are combined into an attractive video. The results of the validation values obtained from media experts are 38, material experts are 39, and product users are 38.33 which are classified in the Very good category, so this company profile is declared valid to be used.

Abstract

The learning process carried out by teachers in schools is a very important activity in improving the quality of education. The learning process carried out by the teacher cannot be separated from the use of instruments in the form of questions that will be presented to determine the level of students' critical thinking. The use of the right questions is very important to support the learning process in the future. One of them is a question based on the partial credit model to determine the level of critical thinking of students which is considered suitable to be implemented in the learning process. This study aims to determine the validity and reliability of the partial credit model instrument in the subject of electrical equipment repair and to determine the position of respondents and items on the wright map. The research method used is an experimental method in the form of a One-Shot Case Study. The experimental subjects were students of class XI TITL 2 at SMK Negeri 1 Kediri. Then to analyze and process data using ministep software. The results showed that the partial credit model based question instrument was declared valid for use with the unidimensionality test results obtained by the raw variance explained by measures measurement result of 40.4%, the partial credit model based item instrument was stated to be reliable with the item reliability rating result of 0.93 and 0.94, obtained person reliability values of 0.68 and 0.70, and obtained values from crombach alpha of 0.69, analysis of the wright map obtained item measures and person measures on the wright map showing the distribution of item difficulty and person abilities with limitations logit values 2 to -2 with equivalent person and item positions, so it can be concluded that the instrument can be used to measure the person's ability level.

Abstract

This research aims to produce a problem-based learning device for electrical lighting installation experiment sheet that is expected to provide solutions to teachers to improve student learning outcomes that are feasible to use. The feasibility refers to the aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research method uses the Research and Development (R&D) method and for the development model used as a reference in this research, namely the 4-D model. Thiagarajan (1974: 5) states that there are four stages in the 4-D model, namely: (1) define which includes front-end-analysis (initial analysis), leaner analysis (learner analysis), task analysis (task analysis), concept analysis (concept analysis), and specifying instructional objectives (formulating learning objectives). (2) design, which includes the stages of contructing criterion-referenced tests, media selection, format selection, and initial design. (3) develope, which includes expert appraisal, and developmental testing. (4) disseminate which includes validating testing, packaging, and diffusion and adaptation which is the stage of product dissemination. The disseminate stage is carried out on a limited basis, namely by providing teaching materials developed to students in class XI TITL at SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya. The subjects of this study were students of class XI TITL 1 as a product trial, at SMK Negeri 7 Surabaya. This study uses a One-Group Pretest- Posttest Design research design to determine differences before and after in a group, by providing a treatment in the form of a problem-based learning-based electrical lighting installation experiment sheet, the achievement of student competence is obtained from whether there is an increase in grades before and after learning.

Abstract

Along with the development of technological advances so that the need for fast, accurate, easy and practical data processing has become a demand, so that currently the majority of institutions have utilized a computerized data management system, good service is able to provide satisfaction to the community. However, most of the service processes at the sub-district office are still carried out conventionally, namely correspondence services and data management still using a word processing program (Ms. Office), so that the process requires more time to carry out services and document documentation is not properly administered. At the Lembak District Office, one of the offices that provides administrative services is located in Lembak Village, Lembak District, Muara Enim Regency. The form of services provided relates to population administration and other services related to government at the sub-district level. The services provided are for example a cover letter for identity cards (KTP), cover letters for family cards (KK), crowd permits, incoming and outgoing letters.

Abstract

As a fairly large institution, management and system development that needs to be designed from a manual basis to a digital basis is very necessary, of course, so that the use of Technology and Information can also be applied to minimize deficiencies and bring the expected profits in providing medicine stock at Islamic boarding school clinics. Due to geographic location, it is necessary to develop a system that can assist in handling the availability of drug stocks so that the process of distributing drugs to patients can run without problems. It is hoped that the use of the Apriori algorithm can help in supplying medicine stock at the Darul Mursyid Islamic boarding school.
