Abstract

Indonesian Migrant Workers, travel documents are required as a condition for working abroad. There are problems that arise when they want to work abroad, the trigger for this is that many people have not received information to become Indonesian Migrant Workers, so there are many phenomena to work abroad non-procedurally. A research is needed regarding the communication strategies carried out in disseminating information to prevent the occurrence of non-procedural Indonesian migrant workers, as well as the obstacles faced in disseminating information. By using qualitative research methods, this research was carried out using the theory of communication strategies including knowing the audience, compiling messages, determining methods and selecting and using media. By conducting observations and direct interviews with sources to obtain data. The results of this study indicate that by implementing a communication strategy in disseminating information by direct socialization and using social media, mass media, and print media to Indonesian Migrant Workers candidates. The communication strategy carried out by the Class I Immigration Office for Immigration Checkpoint (IC) Surabaya has met the criteria for indicators in the theory of communication strategy but there are obstacles in the use of the method. To maximize the use of the method, it is possible to establish a Village Entry Immigration (VEI) program to be able to carry out regular socialization activities in every sub-district, and areas that are considered Indonesian migrant workers barns.

Abstract

Adanya tuntutan masyarakat terhadap kemudahan dalam mengakses layanan keimigrasian pada Provinsi Bengkulu yang hanya memiliki satu kantor imigrasi saja pada Kota Bengkulu. Layanan Eazy Passport menjadi langkah alternatif dalam mengatasi masalah tersebut dan dinilai cukup efektif karena sekarang setelah masa pandemi mulai reda Layanan Eazy Passport menjadi layanan unggulan yang dapat meningkatkan pelayanan keimigrasian pada masyarakat yang bersifat kolektif dengan metode jemput bola. Penelitian ini bertujuan membahas bagaimana penerapan pelayanan dari kebijakan Eazy Passport yang dilaksanakan pada Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I TPI Bengkulu dan upaya dalam menangani faktor penghambat apa saja yang ditemukan dalam pelaksanaannya. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan menganalisis permasalahan menggunakan teori implementasi kebijakan dan didukung dengan teori pelayanan publik yang berdasarkan kualitas pelayanan publik dan prinsip-prinsip pelayanan publik. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi lapangan, wawancara terstruktur, dan studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Kantor Imigrasi Kelas I TPI Bengkulu telah melaksanakan penerapan kebijakan Layanan Eazy Passport sesuai dengan kebijakan yang berlaku dan secara bertahap berhasil mengatasi beberapa faktor penghambat dan kendala yang terjadi pada setiap pelaksanaannya meskipun masih ada beberapa kendala yang masih harus di perbaiki dalam kegiatannya.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a variety of cultures and languages. Madura is one of the ethnic groups in Indonesia which has a very distinctive culture. In culture aspect, the Madurese people hold tightly to the traditions and customs passed down by their predecessors, both in terms of language, religion, art and so on. in Madura with the culture or culture of the people who are considered to be able to hinder the process of services being provided to all levels of society in Madura. The purpose of writing is to explain the 5 dimensions of service strategy according to David Osborne and Pieter Plastrik, namely core strategy, consequence strategy, customer strategy, control strategy and cultural strategy. The research method in this paper is descriptive qualitative research with an inductive approach. The results of this study are that the strategy used is quite good in fulfilling the indicators in the service strategy, but there is still one strategy that has not been optimally implemented, namely the cultural strategy related to communication carried out which is based on communication theory which is still not optimal because the delivery of communication is still not adjusted with the Madurese community so that in order to be able to provide the best service for every level of society, the Pamekasan Immigration Office needs to optimize and adapt more to the conditions of the local community with a service strategy approach, namely the cultural strategy and communication theory used.

Abstract

To carry out its duties as a public service, the Bogor Class I Non-TPI Immigration Office creates the latest service with innovative passport retrieval services through Drive Thru. However, there are obstacles as the Drive-Thru passport collection service goes on, namely vehicle queues due to service mismatches with the implementation of the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and the lack of public understanding regarding the implementation of Drive-Thru passport retrieval. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of Drive Thru passport retrieval service innovations at the Bogor Non-TPI Class I Immigration Office in improving public services by identifying supporting and inhibiting factors and producing Drive-Thru passports retrieval services. This study uses an approach with formative evaluation, there is data collection through semi-structured interviews with informants, observation, and study documentation to obtain credible data. The results of this study prove that some undoubted strengths and opportunities have not been maximized in the Drive Thru passport retrieval service, using SWOT analysis and SWOT Matrix. Therefore, to look for strengths and opportunities, there is a recommendation that contains efforts to service Drive Thru passports using the SO (Strength-Opportunity) Strategy, namely for a recommendation to be used in the innovation of Drive Thru passport retrieval services to maximize public services by service standards public.

Abstract

Indonesian Migrant Workers families employ various survival strategies, including saving, debt management, enhancing skills, and utilizing technology. These strategies help them cope with the challenges they face and improve their well-being. In terms of remittance management models, Indonesian Migrant Workers families utilize both formal and informal channels for sending and receiving remittance. They alson engage in micro business, such as culinary ventures, laundry services, and handicrafts, to generate additional income and meet their daily needs. However, Indonesian Migrant Workers families encounter challenges in establishing and sustaining micro business, such as limited capital, restricted market access, and lack of business management skills. To address these challenges, training programs, education, and broader market access are recommended to echance the success of micro businesses. The government plays a crucial role in supporting the well-being of Indonesia Migrant Workers families by implementing policies that facilitate the development of micro businesses and effective remittance management.
