Abstract

Forests are one of the natural resources that has an important and potential role for human life, therefore it is necessary to preserve their existence as a function to support living systems. The objective of this research is to know how to make an inventory of plant species belonging to Family Asteraceae in Batu Tikar Forest, Luwuk District, Banggai Regency. This type of research is descriptive research. Researchers seek, collect, describe, and interpret research data found in the field systematically, factually, and accurately. This research was conducted in August 2020. Sampling was carried out by the exploration method, namely tracing the research area. It is Batu Tikar forest. The data obtained from the research results were then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of this study found 9 species, namely Chromolaena odorata, Eclipta prostrata, Synedrella nodiflora, Ageratum Conyzoides, Tridax procumbens, Cyanthillum cinereum, Ludwigia hyssopifolia, Acmella paniculata and Bidens pilosad with a total of 39 individuals. From the research results, it can be seen that the plants of the asteraceae family belong to 9 genera, namely Chromolaena, Eclipta, Synedrella, Ageratum, Tridax, Cyanthillum, Ludwigia, Acmella and Bidens. Abstract

: Factors which influence growht of plants consist of two parts, they are internal factors and external factors. One of the external factors that affect plants growth is nutrients. rice washing waste contains many nutrients needed by plants, but not many people use it. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of rice washing waste on the growth of tomato (Solanum licopercum.) This research is experimental design. There were independent variable and dependent variable. Rice washing waste was independent variable and growth of tomato plants (Solanum licopersicum) was dependent variable. The research design used a randomized block design (RBD) model with 3 treatments and 3 replications. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used the ANOVA test. The result of this research shows that the implementation of rice washing waste did not signficantly influence the growth of tomato plants (Solanum licopersicum) with significance value > 0.05. Key words: rice washing waste, growth, tomato

Abstract

The outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the transition of the learning system, namely from learning in the class to virtuallearning or commonly known online learning. During the process, online learning uses technology more than using paper. The use of technology has a positive impact on the environment in the form of a decrease in the amount of paper waste produced in the surrounding environment. From the reduced amount of waste, a policy called the paperless policy. Therefore, an analysis related to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out as an effort towards a paperless policy. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of use of technology and use of paper among students during online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Qualitative descriptive research method by distributing questionnaires to students at the FKIP campus, Sultan AgengTirtayasa University. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The results obtained from this study are 99% of respondents admitted that they use paper less when carrying out learning and use technology more. Thus, the FKIP campus of Sultan AgengTirtayasa University is declared ready to move towards a paperless policy. Keyword:Paperless Policy, Online Learning, Paper Usage, Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Online learning is currently considered a new paradigm in teaching and learning activities where in the process of teaching and learning activities there is no need to be present in the class room. To find out the situation in the online learning process, it is necessary to have the perception so responses from teachers and students to the online learning process. This study aims' to determine teachers’ perceptions about the online learning process in biology subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk, and students’ perceptions about the online learning process in biology subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Luwuk. This is a descriptive qualitative research. The study population was 4 biology teachers and 214 students and the sample size was 2 biology teachers and 67 students. Data collection techniques used are interviews and instruments. Data were analyzed by useng descriptive qualitative methods. The results showed there are still many obstacles faced by teachers that result in the online learning procesa not running effectively so that teachers need support fromall parties so tha ty the online learning procces can be carried out properly and students preceptions about the online learning process in biology are very good.
