Abstract

Football is a popular game involving two teams with 11 players on each team. This game requires players to use their foot skills to compete for the ball and score goals in the opponent's goal. Basic techniques in football include passing the ball, dribbling, ball control, and heading the ball. Programmed, routine, and disciplined training is essential to master these basic techniques. Passing in football involves transferring the ball from one player to another within the same team. Passing skills are crucial in the game because their purpose is to create space, score goals, maintain defense, and restart the ball after a foul. The inside of the foot is often used in passing because it is wider and allows players to direct the ball more accurately. Drill methods, which involve systematically repeating movements, can help improve mastery of basic techniques. Drill training can also enhance physical conditioning. This research aims to improve passing training outcomes for Perseta SSB athletes using the drill method. This study benefits researchers, athletes, coaches, and others in enhancing understanding and skills in football passing. The method used in this research is the sports action method. The results obtained indicate that passing training using the drill method, especially the triangle drill method, is effective in improving athletes' passing abilities. This training helps improve coordination, speed, and passing accuracy. This finding provides evidence that drill methods can be used as an effective approach in training passing techniques and skills for athletes.

Abstract

This research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR). Data collection methods are essential for obtaining accurate and accountable information. The choice of research methods for data collection aligns with the research objectives, utilizing observation and measurement techniques. Data analysis techniques encompass both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative descriptive analysis aims to describe collaborative observation results and compare them with the number of observed students. Quantitative descriptive analysis, on the other hand, seeks to compare the observations made by the researcher and collaborators regarding student behavior during the learning process. This research was conducted in Class V of MI Darul Ulum Sumberagung and resulted in a successful outcome.

Abstract

Soccer is one of the growing sports today and requires a balanced physical condition. With the development of soccer schools in Jember regency, particularly in East Java, and the increasing number of clubs providing coaching for young children, the sport of soccer demands not only physical fitness but also technical skills that require training to prepare for matches. Physical condition can be maximized through regular and well-programmed training, such as speed, agility, strength, explosive power, and endurance training. The objective of this research is to assess the physical condition of soccer players at SSB Cendana in 2023. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method with measurement test techniques. The population consists of active training students/athletes, and purposive sampling was used, resulting in 16 students/athletes. The results showed that 12 players had good strength (push-up) performance, which accounts for 75%. Twelve players had moderate strength (sit-up) performance, also 75%. Sixteen individuals exhibited less than optimal speed, which accounts for 100%. Nine players showed moderate agility, accounting for 56.25%. Eleven players had suboptimal explosive power (broad jump), which accounts for 68.75%. Eight players exhibited suboptimal endurance, representing 50%.

Abstract

Sports are a necessity for humans in life to maintain good physical health and well-being. The importance of physical fitness varies for each individual in achieving success in sports. One crucial factor in achieving success in sports is the mastery of techniques, tactics, physical fitness, and mental abilities required by an athlete. According to the theory presented, maintaining good and optimal physical fitness requires appropriate training that is well-designed and tailored to the needs of the specific sport. The objective of this research is to analyze the physical fitness of extracurricular futsal students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jember. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive method, which aims to understand naturally occurring phenomena scientifically. The sample consists of 9 futsal extracurricular students from SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Jember. The research instrument used in this study is the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT). The results of the study show that out of the 9 subjects in Jember, all were able to pass the first level of the test. However, in the second level, four subjects could not complete it, mainly due to their slender or small body size. In the standard level, there were three subjects who did not perform well, indicating that their physical condition was weak, possibly because, at the age of 15, they were not adequately trained or accustomed to running. On the other hand, two subjects out of the nine reached the highest level, signifying their superior physical fitness compared to others, although it is worth noting that their body size was on the heavier side, indicating room for improvement.
