Abstract

Stemming algorithm Nazief Andriani has been development in terms of the speed and the accuracy. One of its development is Non-formal Affix Algorithm. Non-formal Affix Algorithm improves the accuracy for non-formal affixed word. In its growth, Indonesian language is used in two ways: formal and non-formal. Non-formal language is commonly used in casual situations such as conversations and social media post (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). To get the root of the word of a casual conversation or a social media post, stemming algorithm which can process the non-formal words with affixes already proposed. But, the previous algorithm unable to stem a non-formal word that slightly change the root word. Therefore, this study modifies Non-formal Affix Algorithm to increase stemming accuracy on non-formal word. Modifications are made by adding Levenshtein Distance. The result of the research shows that the algorithm made in this research has 96.6% accuracy while the Non-formal Affix algorithm has 73.3% accuracy in processing 60 non-formal affixed words. Based on the result, Levenshtein Distance approach can increase the accuracy on stemming non-formal affixed word.

Abstract

Pura Bangunan Unit of PT. Pura Barutama has responsibilities to handle new building construction and renovation of old buildings. The procedure of requesting memo to do that tasks are still processed by requesting to Pura Bangunan Unit to create a new memo. In addition, the project management process is often inaccurate and not real time. It is inefficient and ineffective because requesting memo takes 1-2 days. Sometimes, the collected requesting memo files are missing, and monitoring results are not optimal. This research will design and implement the management project application using CodeIgniter and Bootstrap framework. The results showed that the application helps and accelerates all units of PT. Pura Barutama to request a memo faster. Moreover, the memo requesting files can be stored safely and project management process can be done gradually, so that the monitoring results are accurate and real time. CodeIgniter framework made the code more simple and save. The use of Bootstrap also made this application accessible in a variety of screen sizes including on screen tablets and smartphones by providing responsive displays.

Abstract

A neural network is a form of artificial intelligence that has the ability to learn, grow, and adapt in a dynamic environment. Neural network began since 1890 because a great American psychologist named William James created the book "Principles of Psycology". James was the first one publish a number of facts related to the structure and function of the brain. The history of neural network development is divided into 4 epochs, the Camelot era, the Depression, the Renaissance, and the Neoconnectiosm era. Neural networks used today are not 100 percent accurate. However, neural networks are still used because of better performance than alternative computing models. The use of neural network consists of pattern recognition, signal analysis, robotics, and expert systems. For risk analysis of the neural network, it is first performed using hazards and operability studies (HAZOPS). Determining the neural network requirements in a good way will help in determining its contribution to system hazards and validating the control or mitigation of any hazards. After completion of the first stage at HAZOPS and the second stage determines the requirements, the next stage is designing. Neural network underwent repeated design-train-test development. At the design stage, the hazard analysis should consider the design aspects of the development, which include neural network architecture, size, intended use, and so on. It will be continued at the implementation stage, test phase, installation and inspection phase, operation phase, and ends at the maintenance stage.

Abstract

In the current era with the help of IT devices can be done more quickly, effectively and efficiently. Good collaboration between brainware, software and hardware, will produce the expected work performance and response. The Windows operating system, when loading applications, analyzes the files used during startup and what applications are running, then create index files and save them in HDD. With the Windows index can load applications faster. Windows 7 will crack the activity, and the mapping will be reused while loading the HDD app so it will speed up system performance, try to load this application by using 3 prefetch files network method by disabling prefetch, clear prefetch and prefetch activation. Recording time required in HDD application load on Windows operating system with Prefetch Files, in a WMPLAYER.EXE application with 61,800 milliseconds, WORDPAD.EXE record time of 77,367 milliseconds, and CHROME.EXE with the record time of 904,400 milliseconds. Pada Using Prefetch Files then the load time of the HDD app will be faster than without using Prefetch Files or by removing Prefetch Files.

Abstract

In the big data era, the clustering of data or so-called clustering has attracted great interest or attention from researchers in conducting various studies, many grouping algorithms have been proposed in recent times. However, as technology evolves, data volumes continue to grow and data formats are increasingly varied, thus making massive data grouping into a huge and challenging task. To overcome this problem, various research related methods for data grouping have been done, among them is K-Means. However, this method still has some shortcomings, among them is the sensitivity issue in determining the value of cluster (K). In this paper we discuss the implementation of the rule-of-thumb approach and the normalization of data on the K-Means method to determine the number of clusters or K values dynamically in the data groupings. The results show that the implementation of the approach has a significant impact (related to time, number of iterations, and no outliers) in the data grouping.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with high rate of natural disaster, so any information about early warning of natural disaster are very important. Social media such as Twitter become one of tools for spreading information about natural disaster warning from account of  Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), therefore, the effectiveness of this kind of method for providing information have not known yet. The statement becomes the reason that the visualization is needed to analyze the information spread of natural disaster early warning with Twitter. This study is performed in 3 steps, which is retrieving, preprocessing then visualization. Retrieving process is used to get the tweet data of BMKG account in twitter then save into database, while preprocessing is done to process tweet data that has been saved in database by grouping the data according to the category, which includes Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics according to existing keyword, also reduce tweet data that is unimportant like BMKG's reply tweet toward other user's question. Visualization stage uses the result of preprocessing data into line chart graphic, bar chart and pie chart. Highest information spreading from BMKG tweet happened in Geophysics at March with 25987 re-tweets, while the highest peak happened at 2 March 2016 with information about 8.3 SR earthquake in Mentawai islands, West Sumatera with total of 6145 re-tweets.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology and with the disruptive technology make multimedia developers continuously innovate in making specific information products. Internet as a source of information can be used as a reference to seek various information such as information about custom clothing from around the world. In addition to sources from the internet, many available information about custom clothing for example in print. The use of both media is found a variety of problems that Internet users must search for one by one information and readers should find information custom clothing one by one following details and explanations. The problem is solved by creating a digital encyclopedia about custom clothing in digital form based on multimedia technology using mobile application with Android operating system. The method for multimedia software engineering uses Luther method with its stages of concept, design, collecting material, assembly, testing, and distribution. The end result of this research in the form of multimedia products encyclopedia custom clothing in the form of android applications. Product test results have been passed using functionality testing and all functions can run well and in accordance with the concept. From the results of the survey on beta test results obtained 83% which states that the application is feasible to use.

Abstract

Car rental is a growing business that runs rapidly. Competition of travel business is getting strict and business development is getting rapidly. They can boost companies to improve quality and service to their consumers. The problem which always happens in processing travel business, i.e., manual data processing using book. It can give risk for losing data and duplication process, and also the data that does not automatically recapped until the report of income and other information are not up to date. It is needed that there is a system for supporting process of travel operational management. The method that used in the research was a method of software development, i.e., waterfall. The findings of the research is the system that can facilitate the process of travel operational management until it can make the available process more effective, improve the service to consumers, facilitate to search for data that relevant to vehicle travel data.

Abstract

A computer is a tool that become the needs of society, both in the society in general, educational institutions, industry and even in the world of health, in the issue of health scope using technology, there are several cases that can be implemented, one of which is knowledge. Knowledge is a science that a person has acquired where the knowledge takes a long time to get it, sometimes someone with knowledge needs to store that knowledge, there are many methods in storing knowledge, from noting to books, videos and even giving it to someone else, but the method takes a long time, the expert system can be one solution in the knowledge where the expert system is a system that can be incorporated knowledge and store knowledge in the system, there are many expert system methods such as expert system method using Certainty Factor algorithm and algorithm Decision Tree. In the problem taken is to analyze, where asthma disease is the five largest disease that causes death in the world that varies between 6-30% (around 16.5%). In making the system using the waterfall model procedure and the program created using web display for admin management and display android device for user interface, the purpose of which is done in this research is with the application of expert systems artificial intelligence, users or community will be knowing way and first handling in overcoming the asthma disease where the implementation of applications based on android smartphone, which can be used anywhere.

Abstract

Mobile devices are now almost used by all walks of life. Various platforms available on smartphones like Android, iOS, Windows Mobile provide great opportunities and become a challenge for app developers. The problem is that app developers need to be able to match the needs of the available platform. The solution to this problem is the mobile hybrid application technology, which enables application developers to bridge every different smartphone platform using the cordova framework. The Cordova framework allows application developers to build mobile applications using HTML5, CSS, and javascript (JS). In this research more focused on testing the technology of mobile hybrid application to build mobile application of disaster reporting at Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) South Sumatera. Test results in the form of android and windows phone applications through several tests, among others, ease in the process of building applications, publishing, and configuration. It is expected that this hybrid mobile application software can help disaster management agencies in southern Sumatra region in disaster preparedness in the community.
