Abstract

Hypercholesterolemia is a condition when blood cholesterol levels increase above the normal range (200 mg/dL). Patients with hypercholesterolemia can benefit from reducing risk factors in a number of ways, one of which is by incorporating dietary fiber-based products into the diet. It is known the effect of giving soy bean pudding and seaweed on total cholesterol levels of hypercholesterolemia patients at Sekip Palembang Health Center. This type of research is a quantitative research with a quasi experimental design. The data that has been collected, then analyzed using Friedmant Test analysis, univariate analysis, bivariate analysis, and multivariate analysis. Proximate analysis results of F3 high fiber pudding with 85.55% moisture content, 3.36% ash content, 0.86% fat content, 0.91% protein content, 9.32% carbohydrate content, 7.07 dietary fiber content gram, vitamin C content 4.00 mg, and chemical analysis results niacine content 6.08 mg. The results of the qualitative test of Flavonoids with a sample concentration of 100 g = 100000 µg/ml. There was a significant difference in total cholesterol levels before and after, namely in the treatment group with a p-value 0.05, which was 0,711. Soybean and seaweed pudding containing low fat, high fiber, vitamin C, high niacine and Flavonoids can reduce total cholesterol levels in hypercholesterolemic patients at the Sekip Palembang Health Center. Abstract

Stroke adalah suatu kondisi yang terjadi ketika aliran darah ke beberapa bagian otak terputus secara tiba-tiba karena sebagian sel otak mati akibat terputusnya aliran darah akibat penyumbatan atau pecahnya pembuluh darah di otak. Latihan stabilitas dapat meningkatkan kekuatan otot-otot inti yang bertugas menjaga kestabilan tulang belakang (vertebra), dan juga meningkatkan kekuatan anggota tubuh bagian atas dan anggota tubuh bagian bawah yang lemah, sehingga dapat meningkatkan keseimbangan berjalan. dan koordinasi pada pasien pasca stroke. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperimental dengan rancangan randomized pre-test and post-test single-group design. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh stabilitas jantung terhadap peningkatan keseimbangan berjalan pada pasien stroke di beberapa rumah sakit di Kota Makassar. Dimana  populasi adalah semua pasien stroke yang berobat dirumah sakit Di Kota Makassar antara januari sampai September 2022 sebanyak 863 orang dan besar sampel  diambil  dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin di dapatkan 284 orang dengan kriteria pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sample. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan lebih banyak responden laki-laki yaitu 193 (67,96%), Umur responden lebih dari 60 tahun sebanyak 142 (50%) jenis stroke yang terbanyak adalah NHS dengan jumlah 266 (93,66%) dan nilai pre tes keseimbangan lebih banyak pada kategori bermasalah perlu pendampingan sebanyak 218 (76,76 %) responden. Gangguan keseimbangan merupakan masalah kesehatan yang sering ditemui pada lansia apalagi dengan kondisi stroke dimana sebagaian besar responden mengalami gangguan keseimbangan sehingga dibutuhkan intervensi core stabiliy untuk mengatasi masalah keseimbangan pada pasien stroke. Kata Kunci : Core Stability, Keseimbangan Berjalan, Stroke, Time Up Go Test.

Abstract

Fast food memiliki kandungan kalori, lemak, protein, gula dan garam yang relatif tinggi dan rendah serat, sehingga bila dikonsumsi terus menerus dalam jumlah yang banyak akan menyebabkan gizi lebih (overweight) serta dapat menyebabkan masalah gizi lainnya pada remaja. Tujuan khusus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai kebiasaan konsumsi fast food, menilai status gizi dan menilai hubungan kebiasaan konsumsi fast food dengan status gizi berdasarkan IMT siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain  cross sectional study. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP kelas VIII yang berjumlah 100 siswa. Kebiasaan makan dikumpulkan dengan wawancara menggunakan quesioner, status gizi diketahui melalui pengukuran antropometri yaitu tinggi badan dan berat badan. Untuk mengetahui hubungan kebiasaan konsumsi fast food terhadap status gizi dilakukan uji statistik Chi-Square dan diolah menggunakan program SPSS. Data disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi dan narasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kebiasaan mengonsumsi fast food bagi siswa SMP 30 Makassar umumnya jarang yaitu 63%, dan sebanyak 25 orang (25%) termasuk dalam kategori status gizi sangat kurus, sebanyak 17 orang (17%) termasuk dalam kategori status gizi kurus, sebanyak 5 orang (5%) termasuk dalam kategori status gizi gemuk, dan sebanyak 8 orang (8%) termasuk dalam kategori status gizi obesitas. Analisis statistik diketahui tidak terdapat hubungan kebiasaan makan fast food terhadap status gizi dengan nilai p=0,212 (p>0,05). Disarankan, sebaiknya dilakukan penelitian lanjutan untuk kebiasaan konsumsi makanan siap saji (fast food) dengan menambahkan jenis-jenis jajanan fast food yang dikonsumsi agar kebiasaan konsumsi fast food lebih tergambar dan mendapatkan hasil yng lebih baik. Abstract

Healthy hair is hair that is protected from various problems or diseases. Healthy hair will reveal a shining and luster look, soft texture, easy to style, and grow perfectly. Healthy hair is always depend on daily hair care, therefore it is very important to take care of hair regularly. The purpose of this study was to formulate pumpkin seed oil into pomade preparations. The purpose of this study was to formulate pumpkin seed oil (Cucurbita moschata Durch) in pomade preparations which were tested for its stability. This is an experimental research method by preparing and testing the stability of pomade preparations from pumpkin seed oil with concentrations of 5%, 7.5%, and 10%. The results showed that the pomade preparations from the three concentrations were white to brownish yellow in color, which were homogeneous and semi solid. In spreadability test, F0; F1; and F2 was spreading for 3.3cm while F3 was 2.9cm. The pH of pomade preparations ranges from 6.1-6.7. The irritation test showed that F0, F1, F2, F3 did not cause irritation to volunteers. The pomade resistance test on hair found positive results during four-hour test. The rinsing test showed that all pomade preparations could be rinsed off with water. Pumpkin seed oil pomade (Cucurbita moschata Durch) concentration of 5%, 7.5% and 10% was stable in 12 weeks’ stability test in room temperature.

Abstract

Weavers have various work risks in weaving in the form of fatigue effects which can be caused by monotonous work postures for long periods of time. The purpose of this study was to determine work fatigue and its management according to local perceptions of ethnic Bugis weavers in OHS perspective. This research is an analytic descriptive study related to work fatigue in weavers. Subjective measurement of work fatigue uses the Japan Industrial Fatigue Research Committee (IFRC) questionnaire, including measurements of weakening activities, weakening of motivation, and physical fatigue of workers. consisting of 30 point statements. Sampling in this study used a total sampling technique, namely the entire population as a sample of 141 respondents. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and chi-square with α=0.05. The results showed that 7 weavers (5%) experienced very high fatigue, 87 weavers (61.7%) experienced high fatigue, and 47 weavers (33.3%) experienced moderate fatigue. As for the treatment of fatigue based on local wisdom that is usually done is massaged by a family member or massage therapist (22.6%), taking herbal medicine (7.8%), and just letting it go (18.4%). For future researchers, they can examine the effectiveness of fatigue recovery based on local wisdom that has been practiced so far. Keywords : Fatigue, Weavers, Bugis Ethnic, OHS

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by a lack of nutritional intake due to the provision of food that does not meet basic nutritional needs. The problem of stunting can start when in the womb & you can only see the symptoms experienced when the child is two years old. This study aims to determine the effect of husband's support & diet on stunting prevention in pregnant women in Depok City. Methods: This research is an observational study with a cross-sectional study design, with independent variables, namely husb& support & eating patterns, & the dependent variable, namely stunting prevention in pregnant women. The population in this study were all pregnant women who live in Depok City in December 2022 with a total sample of 396 people. Data collection was carried out by filling out questionnaires & secondary data. The analytical method used was univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using the Pearson correlation test & multivariate analysis using multiple linear regression tests. Results: based on the results of the Pearson correlation test it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between husband's support for stunting prevention in pregnant women (p=0.001) & there is a significant correlation between diet & stunting prevention in pregnant women (p=0.001). Based on the R Square value from the results of multiple linear regression analysis, it shows that husband's support & diet obtained a number of 0.893, which means that 89.3% of stunting prevention in pregnant women is influenced by husband's support & diet simultaneously. Conclusion: Based on the results of the research analysis, it was concluded that husband's support & eating patterns have an effect on preventing stunting in pregnant women in Depok City.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) is a nutritional problem for pregnant women that needs more attention. Riskesdas 2018 data shows the prevalence of CED pregnant women aged 15-49 years in Indonesia is 17.3%, in South Sulawesi province by 16.87%, and in Makassar City by 13.02%. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of counseling on nutritional intake and body weight of CED pregnant women in the working area of the Tamalanrea Jaya Health Center in Makassar City. The research design used was pre-experimental with a one group pretest-postest design without a control group. The sample in this study was CED pregnant women who were selected by purposive sampling as many as 10 people with criteria for pregnant women who had an upper arm circumference of <23.5 cm. Nutrient intake data was obtained by the 24-hour recall method and weight data was measured using a digital weight scale. Data analysis in this study used the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the average nutritional intake of CED pregnant women both energy, protein, fat, and carbohydrates was low (< 60% RDA of pregnant women). The results of the analysis showed no effect of nutritional counseling on the nutritional intake of CED pregnant women, ranging from energy (p = 0.878), protein (p = 0.203), fat (p = 0.575), and carbohydrates (p = 0.508). The provision of counseling has an influence on the weight of pregnant women between before and after nutritional counseling (p = 0.012). The conclusion of this study is that nutritional counseling has not been able to increase nutrient intake until nutritional needs are met, but it can increase the weight of CED pregnant women.

Abstract

Background: Basic Health Research Data for 2018, there were 52.1% of smokers who smoked for the first time at the age of 15-19 years. In addition, there are around 10.61% of the population aged 15-19 years who smoke in 2020, which is an increase from 10.54% in 2019. Objective: To determine the effect of subjective norms and peer support on the intention to stop smoking in adolescents in Depok City. Method: The type of research used is an observational analytic study using a cross-sectional research design. The study population was all adolescents who live in the Depok City Region in the 15-19 year age group of 166,445 people. Based on sample calculations using the Slovin formula, a minimum sample size of 399 respondents was obtained. The research instrument used a questionnaire, with data analysis using the Multiple Linear Regression hypothesis test. Results: There is an influence of subjective norms and peer support on the intention to stop smoking in adolescents in the Depok City Region in 2023 with an F-count of 780.178 and a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). In addition, an R Square value of 0.798 was obtained, meaning that 79.8% of the intention to stop smoking was influenced by subjective norms and peer support, while the remaining 20.2% was influenced by other factors or other variables outside the model that were not examined. as the theory goes.

Abstract

The prevalence of leftover medicines that are still stored in households is still quite high, including people still storing medicines that have expired. Children are a vulnerable age group who often receive compounded and non-compounded medicines. The purpose of this study was to compare the attitudes of the two groups of mothers towards leftover compounded drugs and non-compunded drugs with assessment aspects namely storage of leftover drugs, reuse, and re-examination. This research is a quantitative-analytical research, non-experimental, with a cross-sectional design used in this study. Data was obtained from mothers of children who received treatment, carried out by guided interviews using an interview instrument containing 8 statements. The data was then processed statistically using the Chi Square test. The results showed that the age of most respondents was in the range of 26-35 years, the most recent education being high school, and as housewives, and using insurance. The percentage of respondents who showed a positive attitude on the aspects of remaining drug storage, reuse, re-examination in the compunded group (97.5%; 95%; 98.8%) showed a higher percentage than the non-compounded group (86.2%; 85% ; 97.5%). Both groups showed significant differences in aspects of leftover drug storage and reuse.

Abstract

Dietary fiber has the benefit of being a good source of prebiotics to maintain the health of the digestive tract. Kepok bananas contain inulin and fructooligosaccharides which are considered food for the intestinal microflora. Rice bran contains insoluble food fiber which can work as a source of prebiotics. This study aims to determine the acceptability and fiber content of the "SANGTUL" snack bar, namely banana kepok flour and rice bran flour as functional food sources of prebiotics. The research method is a pre-experimental design with a Post Test Group Design. Acceptability was assessed based on the hedonic test by 30 panelists and analysis of dietary fiber content using the gravimetric method with 2 repetitions. The results showed that the acceptability of the snack bar "SANGTUL" banana flour kepok substitution of rice bran flour from the most preferred color aspects, namely all concentrations, aroma concentration aspects (90%:10%), texture aspects concentration (90%:10%), and aspect of taste concentration (90%: 10%) so that the average acceptance of the most preferred snack bar is the concentration of kepok banana flour substitution of rice bran flour (90%: 10%). The results of the food fiber content of the snack bar "SANGTUL" banana kepok flour substituted for bran flour with a concentration (90%:10%) of 11.42 g per 100 g snack bar. It is suggested that in the manufacture of banana flour kepok snack bar substitution of rice bran flour in further research, test the content of other nutrients.
