Menara Tebuireng (Jurnal Studi Islam) adalah publikasi ilmiah yang berusaha memfasilitasi artikel akademis dan tulisan ilmiah dari sejumlah studi penelitian empiris dalam bidang Studi Islam. Menara Tebuireng terbuka bagi akademisi, mahasiswa, peneliti, dan praktisi yang berminat untuk berkontribusi dengan pemikiran mereka, terutama dalam bidang Studi Islam. Fokus utama jurnal Menara Tebuireng adalah pada eksplorasi hukum Islam, dinamika penyebaran dakwah dalam penyebaran Islam, studi ilmu sosial, Pendidikan Islam, dan pengembangan pengetahuan Islam kontemporer dalam ranah teoretis maupun praktis, khususnya dalam lingkup lokal, nasional, dan global. Subtema dan cakupan dalam publikasi ilmiah Menara Tebuireng meliputi: Dakwah dan penyebaran Islam: a. Abstract

The success of education at the school is largely determined by success in managing the head of the educational staff in schools/madrasah. Principals have responsibility for improving the quality of teachers in achieving its objectives in addition to the government's obligations. Implementation of management education personnel (teachers and staff) in Indonesia according Mulyasa, at least include; workforce planning, procurement personnel, dismissal of personnel, coaching and development, promotion and assessment. Activities meant to show that the provision of teachers as educators very great concern in efforts to achieve the quality of the success of learners. Quality Management aims to develop human resources empowerment of teachers who are expected to engage actively pushing to improve the quality of schools/madrasah. This devotion performed on MI Urwatul Wusqo PP. Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Bulurejo, MI Perguruan Muallimat in PP Walisongo Cukir, MI Tarbiyatul Aulad Bandung in Gebang Malang Bandung and MI Ar-Rohman Nglaban Bendet. Relative activity of teacher empowerment through developing quality human resources management model in order to improve the quality of madrasah in Sub district Diwek Jombang, can be summarized as follows: 1. In the beginning, the madrasah four management models are clerical, after empowering the community service program, the fourth madrasah management models to increase to managerial model. 2. Subject devotion capable of implementing the quality management model of human resources fitted to the characteristics of each institution. 3. The quality of human resources management model developed by Principals effective enough to increase the empowerment of teachers in the fourth MI. 4. The research subjects were able to understand the quality of human resources management capabilities and strength of institutions in improving teacher quality through the transformation of the quality management of human resources. 5. The research subjects understand their duties and functions as teachers (institution Asset, facilitator, motivator, mediator, and creator) in the teaching and learning process

Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a theme that remains attractively to be studied or researched, moreover the viewpoint of the Qur'an and the Hadith, as a major source of Islamic teachings. A Muslim will still need to understand and deepen it. Thus, the research aims have scientific assessment results which can be used as the basis for a Muslim in running the entrepreneurship. Independence of life and success generated by entrepreneurial activity, which also means by increased welfare, become meaningless without increasing faith and devotion. The method used in this research is literary study, it is a study carried out to solve a problem which is based on in-depth review of critical and relevant to library materials in accordance with the focus of the study. The focuses researches are: Definition of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship in general perspective, and the perspective of entrepreneurship in the Quran and hadith. All the verses and hadiths pertaining to entrepreneurial above require examination or in-depth study of reference books in the field of Quran and tafsir and hadith and syarakh (additional explanation), written by many of the scholars, we restudy, analyze, and interpret related to the newest conditions

Abstract

Muslims in the world-including Indonesia are divided into two major groups, namely the Sunnah and Shi'ah. Although, there are common thing unite them as the unity of Muslims, both have some disagreements that hard to be united; such as attitudes towards companions and Prophet’s wives, about Imamah and Wilayah (leadership and authority) of Ali and the Ahlul Bait, temporary marriages, tahrif al-Qur'an, and so on. Most scholars of Sunnah regard that Shi’ah as heretical / Ahlul Bid'ah, on the other hand mostly Shi’ah cleric's followers regard as Mukhalif Sunnah (the aberrant, violates the truth). As a result, it is not uncommon to open conflict between the followers of the Sunnah (Sunni) and the followers of Shi'ah (Shi'i), even to cause murdering. However, in some areas, cross breeding takes place, between a Sunni and a Shi'i, such as in Bangil Pasuruan, East Java. This study aims to explore the views of religious leaders, both Sunni and Shi'i, in Bangil, on the issue of cross-flow marriage (Sunni-Shi'i). The results showed that in dealing with cross-flow marriage (Sunni-Shi'i), Sunni in Bangil divided into three groups: (1) Conservative; prohibit absolutely. (2) Moderate; does not prohibit but also do not advocate. (3) Liberal; allow it absolutely. While Shi’i leaders agreed to take the attitude of Liberal; allow it absolutely. Marriages cross-flow (Sunni-Shi'i) has the potential to challenge more difficult life than marriage within the flow. The differences in religious rituals, traditions, political views and jurisprudence are prone to trigger psychic conflict. The ordeal is the pressure and rejection of social environment who is not ready to accept the Shi'i community members in the middle of the Sunni, or vice versa

Abstract

School or education institution, as place of education process that can be implemented by dynamic and complex system. The main activity of school is human resource management. Quality human resources preparation can be reached only by education quality. All of education system component must complete main standard quality. The organization can increase and endure its quality by build system of increasing quality. Once of them is TQM (Total Quality Management). TQM based on satisfaction as main target. Customers can be different to internal and external customer. In education, internal is manager of education management, such as school principle, teachers, staff, and school operator. The focuses of this research are: (1) Teacher quality in SMP Misykat Al-Anwar Kwaron, Jombang, (2) Implementation TQM on increasing teacher quality in SMP Misykat Al-Anwar Kwaron, Jombang, (3) Supporter and resistor factors of implementation TQM on increasing teacher quality in SMP Misykat Al-Anwar Kwaron, Jombang. The researcher uses field research method (qualitative descriptive). The technique of data collecting uses observation, interview, discussion, and documentation. In this research, have discovered that teacher quality at SMP Misykat Al-Anwar Kwaron Jombang, is teacher who have elected and selected well. To know the teacher professionalism can be looked through education grade, certification, and training education program, and teacher competent test. Implementation of TQM in increasing teacher quality through teacher recruitment, so teacher have elected and selected are teacher who have skills and creativities. Quality improvement in SMP Misykat Al-Anwar Kwaron Jombang can be implemented by consultation, building, workshop, seminar, and teacher training. The supporter factors of implementation TQM on increasing teacher quality is influenced by external and internal factors. To real this matter, school principle create good job condition by protect togetherness inter group, give opportunity to express opinion, give motivation and build work spirit to concern commitment which have decided, so activities can continue well

Abstract

Al-Azhar Kairo is a symbol of Islamic progress many generations, which Al-Azhar Kairo is an Islamic educational institution that is able to create ulama'-scholars, jurists', students which are able to contribute to Islamic education, especially education of pesantren in Indonesia. Various schools in Indonesia actually have the characteristics of the different education and learning. The characteristics of education and learning in pesantren prove from the ideas and concepts of the leaders and administrators of the cottage. In this case, the head of the cottage PMDG as well several cadres of pesantren have scientific background of the University of Al-Azhar Kairo. Thus directly or indirectly, the process of transformation of philosophy and scientific values ​​occur through programs and activities of the cottage, particularly programs and curriculum activities at KMI. The research problems are: 1. What is the pattern of relations between Al-Azhar Kairo and Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. 2. What forms of intellectual interrelation alumni of Al-Azhar Kairo in curriculum development in Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor. This study uses field research, qualitative descriptive research approach. To analyze the data,the researcher uses data reduction data presentation and verification of data. The researcher collects the data using interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, it can be concluded as follows: 1. The patterns of relationship between Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor and Al-Azhar Kairo is the pattern of socio-intellectual that with their experience of traveling overseas, cottage cadre delegation to continue the study and a cadre delegation cottage coaching preachers-preachers in the world, as well as its cooperation in the field of education, both with moral and material support. 2. The form and the process of transformation is done interrelation of Intellectual alumni of Al-Azhar Kairo in curriculum development Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor, either directly or indirectly lead to the development of language, curriculum development and teaching materials development, with reference to some of the works and literature classic of Al-Azhar Kairo in learning activities

Abstract

The calendar system is the important thing for human’s life to know the time and this calculation. Nowadays, calendar in the world based on movement from the Sun (solar system) or Moon (lunar system). Especially in Islamic (Hijriyah) and Javanese calendar, altought both of them based on lunar system, in application they have different rules. We can’t say that 1 Ramadhan is always same with 1 Poso or 1 Dhulhijjah is certainly 1 Besar. To know beginning of the month in Islamic calendar need the astronomical data, that is position of Moon and Sun when conjunction, the height of two object and others. Its mean, need calculation (hisab) or observe (ru’yah) to know that. But in Javanese, the date is always same. 29 days in even months and 30 days in odd months. So that, it can be important cause Hijriyah need to worship for Islamic people and Javanese close to culture and social calendar in Java community in Indonesia
