Abstract

The aimed of this research was to analysed the parents perception and their involvement toward the important of EYL in rustic area. To investigate the kind of phenomena specifically, qualitative approach is needed to applied in this research which employed a case study design. This study was conducted in Pakuniran village, Pakuniran district, Probolinggo East Java Province. This village is chosen because Pakuniran become one of the remote area in this distric but children enthusiasm in teaching and learning english is higher. The data was obtained through observation, interview and questionnaire. Fifteen parents from kindegarten and primary school volunteered to be the participants for responding to their choices in the questionnaire. Five parents of students (i.e. p1, p2, p3, p4, and p5) in each level were requested to perceive the perception and involvement in their children's English ability. The subjects were selected using Purposive Sampling techniques. The result of this research that parents' perception and their involvement toward EYL in rustic area, in this case is Pakuniran village Probolinggo Regency have positive response. Parents involvement becomes one of the biggest support systems to success in teaching and learning. Choosing the best school for their education child, additional English learning outside are the ways of parents’ support.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan Evaluasi Diri madrasah di MI Muhammadiyah Karan yang terletak di Kecamatan Karanganyar Kabupaten Karanganyar Jawa Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melakukan analisis dan mengambil kesimpulan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik observasi lapangan, interview kepada kepala sekolah, guru dan admin, serta mengumpulkan dokumen yang relevan dengan penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa skor standar mutu MI Muhammadiyah Karan masih tergolong baik dengan skor 63.87. Evaluasi Diri Madrasah menggunakan 5 instrumen evaluasi yaitu pengembangan diri, pembiayaan, sarana dan prasrana, kedisiplinan dan proses pembelajaran. Skor terendah adalah instrumen pengembangan diri dengan nilai skor 25.00, lalu sarana dan prasarana 65.00 dan pembiayaan 70.00. Dengan hasil skor ini maka yang menjadi fokus perbaikan di tahun pelajaran yang akan datang adalah tentang pengembangan diri, sarana prasarana dan pembiayaan. Selanjutnya kepala madrasah melakukan tindakan yaitu mewajibkan guru untuk ikut pelatihan metode Ummi untuk pengembangan diri. Dan menaikkan iuran dari orangtua untuk memperbaiki sarana dan prasarana, dan pembiayaan madrasah.

Abstract

Leadership is visionary leadership. Visionary leadership is leadership whose main work is focused on engineering a challenging future. With the visionary leadership of the madrasah head, he is able to color Islamic educational institutions so that Islamic education experiences an increase in realizing progress so that it is able to compete strictly, even being able to outperform the progress achieved by other educational institutions. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type with a multi-case design. The research location chosen was MAN 2 Pondok Pesantren Darul Ulum Rejoso. The results of the study state that the head of the madrasa is a leader in increasing competitiveness, namely by elaborating the vision into missions so that the objectives of the madrasa are achieved, formulating goals and targets for the quality of the madrasa to be achieved, analyzing opportunities, challenges, strengths and weaknesses of madrasah diniyah, being transparent in the use of the budget, in decision making, applying visionary leadership. Focus on a challenging future, a superior change agent. organizational direction. professional trainer in his leadership he head of the madrasa describes a visionary leader who is able to become a professional trainer. This is realized from literacy programs and moving classes, which translate into institutional success. The visible indicators of madrasah competitiveness are: the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of the available study rooms. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji nilai-nilai toleransi dan kebebasan berpendapat di era kemajuan tekhnologi dan informasi adlam pndangan Al Qur’an dan Tafsir pada masyarakat Indonesia yang majemuk. Metode penelitian empirik ini dilakukan dengan cara observasi mendalam pada kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia di era kebebasan perpendapat saat ini dengan pendekatan antropologis. Temuan dan hasil penelitian, kebebasan berpendapat menjadi hal yang sangat pelik ketika semua orang menyampaikan ekspresinya tanpa memperhatikan akhlak ataupun fitnah atas dasar kebebasan berpendapat. Mereka seringkali menggunakan istilah-istilah bukan pada arti sebenarnya yang sengaja dibuat multi persepsi dengan dalil-dalil implisit. Ujaran kebencian yang dibungkus multi persepsi mengancam kebhinnekaan dan kemanunggalan bangsa sebagai bangsa yang besar karena perbedaan. Hal ini menjadi hal serius manakala disampaikan di media sosial dengan bersembunyi dibalik dogma agama, akun palsu dan bisnis berita hoaks. Maka diperlukan internalisasi nilai toleransi di era kebebasan berperdapat dalam kemajuan tekhnologi informasi dan pluralisme sosial.

Abstract

In 2020 Indonesia experienced the Covid-19 pandemic, resulting in a worsening learning crisis. The government issued an emergency curriculum policy. After running for one school year, the government found that using the emergency curriculum got better results than the previous curriculum. Moreover, in February 2022, the government began to apply the Merdeka curriculum. This research aims to find out and provide information about English teachers' perceptions of the Merdeka curriculum at SMKN Darul Ulum Muncar for the 2022/2023 academic year. The researcher focuses on teaching modules and the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile Project (P5) in the Merdeka curriculum. For data collection, researchers use quantitative methods. Then for the research model with a survey model, researchers distributed questionnaires to nine English teachers at SMKN Darul Ulum Muncar. Moreover, this study found that English teachers' perception of the Merdeka curriculum at SMKN Darul Ulum Muncar was very good. The overall average score of teachers indicates this is 79, which is included in the interval range score of 72 < X, which means it is categorized as very good. In more detail, four teachers have good perceptions, and five other teachers have very good perceptions. This research provides valuable insights into how the Merdeka curriculum is received by English teachers at SMKN Darul Ulum Muncar, depicting a positive response to the curriculum change.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran merupakan salah satu faktor penentu yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Negeri Ngadirojo sejumlah 365 siswa dengan sampel kelas X AK 2 dan X AP masing-masing berjumlah 40 siswa. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode quasy eksperiment (semu) dengan Post-test Only Control Group Design. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar berbentuk uraian dengan terlebih dahulu dilakukan validasi oleh validator, menguji tingkat kesukaran dan daya beda butir instrument serta uji reliabilitas instrument. Prasarat uji yang dilakukan adalah uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Data-data yang telah berhasil dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisis untuk melihat perbedaan hasil belajar dengan uji Independent Sample t-Test dengan menggunakan bantuan software pengolah data statistik (IBM SPSS Statistics). Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh nilai t hitung 0,463 dan nilai probabilitas atau signifikansi sebesar 0,05 yang berarti (0,463 >0,05). Maka H0 diterima atau H1 ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan penilaian pemnyelesaian masalah matematika ditinjau dari kemampuan siswa. Jenis penelitian ini juga penelitian deskripsi kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas 7 SMP Negeri 7 Jember. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah pre-test,post-test, dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kemam;puan tinggi melaksanakan semua tahapan peneyelesaian masalah matematika dan mendapatkan nilai sangat tinggi yaitu 100. Sedangkan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan rendah tidak melaksanakan tahapan penyelesaian masalah matematika dan mendapatkan nilai 23,07

Abstract

Etnomatematika merupakan aktivitas matematika yang dilakukan oleh suatu komunitas masyarakat tertentu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan eksplorasi matematika dalam budaya masyarakat tersebut dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembelajaran matematika sebagai sumber belajar. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasikan konsep-konsep matematika pada sistem mata pencaharian masyarakat Telaga Desa Piru, yakni hasil dari anyaman daun kelapa sebagai wadah ketupat dan kakusang kasoami sebagai sumber belajar matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif diskriptif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam artikel ini adalah masyarakat Dusun Telaga Desa Piru Kabupaten Seram Bagian Barat yang menganyam daun kelapa sebagai sumber mata pencaharian. Analisis data dilakukan dalam dua tahap, yakni selama di lapangan dan setelah terkumpulnya data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil anyaman daun kelapa sebagai mata pencaharian masyarakat Telaga Desa Piru terdapat konsep-konsep matematikayang dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika, khususnya pada bidang geometri, yaitu bangun datar (belah ketupat, segitiga, dan persegi panjang) dan bangun ruang (yakni balok, limas segitiga, limas segi empat, kubus, dan tabung).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze students' critical thinking skills based on learning styles. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were class VIII students of SMP PGRI Jenggawah, Jember Regency. There are 3 test subjects with one participant from visual, auditory/auditory, kinesthetic. The information in the research was generated from learning style polls, student test sheets, and interviews. The procedures for examining information in this study are information reduction, information disclosure, and reaching determination. Polling data is filled in to determine student learning style tendencies, while test sheets are used to determine students' reasoning abilities. The results showed that the reasoning abilities that determine students in each learning style have different levels. Students with a visual learning style can basically think in a high classification with a score of 75, students with an auditory learning style can think fundamentally in a moderate classification with a score of 62.5, while students with a kinesthetic learning style can think basically. in very low classification with a score of 31.25. In accordance with the learning style, producing a visual learning style has a decisive reasoning ability that is better than listening/auditory and kinesthetic abilities

Abstract

The use of instructional media is expected to increase student motivation and interest in learning. One medium that can provide motivation and fun for students and teachers is the quizizz paper mode. The process of evaluation or assessment using quizizz paper mode media is a medium that is close to the development of information technology. The use of cellphones is directed towards media support for the rest, making the evaluation media with the quizizz paper mode very interesting. It is very interesting to study about improving learning outcomes with quizizz paper mode in learning with RME for students. With this type of qualitative research using pre-test and post-test instruments. The instrument was validated by experts with valid results. While the teacher observed the implementation of RME learning with the results that all steps could be carried out. The results of the research are that it can increase student learning outcomes to 86% of the remaining completion. So an increase of 50% of the results at the beginning of learning. The application of the quizizz paper mode can be continued by adding validation to the teacher's teaching documents.
