Abstract

Abstrak. Pengetahuan tentang “sifat elastisitas” pada suatu barang merupakan hal yang sangat penting, khususnya bagi akademisi, pemerintah, pemerhati/ekonom dan praktisi (pengusaha). Melalui pengetahuan ini, akan dapat menjelaskan mengenai fakta perubahan dari berbagai variabel ekonomi yang diakibatkan oleh adanya perubahan dari variabel ekonomi yang lainnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sifat elastisitas permintaan cabai rawit dalam dua kondisi perubahan harga di kota Cirebon. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan secara sengaja yaitu pasar-pasar besar di kota Cirebon. Desain penelitiannya adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik pendekatan survai. Populasi penelitian adalah pedagang cabai rawit di pasar-pasar besar kota Cirebon dan teknik penentuan besar sampel dilakukan secara sengaja berdasarkan kerepresentatifan, yaitu sebanyak 28 orang. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan kaidah perhitungan nilai koefisien elastisitas titik. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa sifat elastisitas permintaan cabai rawit pada kondisi harga rendah adalah inelastis (e = 0,06) dan pada kondisi harga tinggi adalah juga inelastis (e = 0,48). Setelah penelitian ini, diharapkan dapat meluaskan pemahaman penerapan konsep elastisitas permintaan, menumbuhkan minat meneliti lebih lanjut, media silaturahmi akademik dan menjadi bahan ajar pada mata kuliah Ekonomi Mikro, Pemasaran Agribisnis dan Ekonomi Manajerial serta dapat menjadi bahan rumusan kebijakan ekonomi lokal.

Abstract

The agronomic characteristics of Robusta coffee plants are influenced by several factors, one of which is altitude. Robusta coffee can grow optimally at an altitude of 400-1,000 meters above sea level with a temperature of 21-24 °C. Pejawaran sub-district is known as a mountainous area with a height of 900-1600 m above sea level. This research was conducted in July to September 2019 in the coffee garden of Sarwodadi Village, Pejawaran District, Banjarnegara Regency. The selection of research sites was carried out by conducting a survey where 3 altitudes were selected that had a greater number of coffee plants. The research sites include 1,100 m asl, 1,200 m asl and 1,350 m asl, plant samples taken are 10% of the total plant population. Variables observed included chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, stomata opening, stomata density, plant height, stem diameter, number of productive branches, number of bunches per plant and yield per plant. The results showed that the altitude of 1,100 m asl has chlorophyll content, the number of bunches per plant and yield per plant is better than the other heights of 20.95 mg / g, 8.64 mg / g, 113 and 6.64 kg. The chlorophyll content of a and b is positively related to the number of bunches. Stomatal openings are significantly positive for the number of productive branches. Plant height was negatively related to productive branches and number of bunches. Stem diameter is positively related to the number of bunches. The number of productive branches is positively related to the results.

Abstract

Biostimulants plays an important role in the phytoremediation process of soil contaminated with hydrocarbon compounds. This experiment aims to determine the best treatment between N-fixing bacteria (BNF) and cow manure (CM) that can improve oil-polluted soil. The experiment was conducted in January-April 2019 at Kebun Percobaan Ciparanje Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor, Sumedang, used a randomized block design method with four combinations (without BNF + without CM, Azotobacter sp. + without CM, without BNF + CM dose of 100% and Azotobacter sp. 4% + CM dose of 100%). The results showed there was not significant with control, except combination of without BNF + CM dose of 100% treatment could increase the population of Azotobacter sp. of 4.8 x 108 CFU/g, while Azotobacter sp. + without CM can increase the degradation of hydrocarbons and dry weight of ramie plants 0.1047 ppm/day and 40.433 g.

Abstract

The study was conducted from January to February 2014 in the Broiler Cage Stage Cikandang Village, Rumpin District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The study aims to examine the utilization of fermented banana peels on protein consumption, crude protein digestibility and protein mass of broiler chicken meat. The material used was 120 broiler chickens (unsex) with an average body weight of 475 ± 0.98 g / head for 14 days, rumen fluid, banana peels and rations arranged in iso energy and iso protein. The experimental design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 6 replications. T0 treatment = control ration without banana peel; T1 = ration with 5% fermented banana peel; T2 = ration with 10% fermented banana peel; T3 = ration with 15% fermented banana peel. Banana peels are fermented for 1 week to reduce high fiber content and high tannin. Data were analyzed using the F test at a level of 5%, followed by the Duncan test if there is a treatment effect. Based on research results, protein consumption was not significantly different (P> 0.05), so was protein digestibility and protein mass. The conclusion of this study is the use of banana peels fermented with rumen fluid has not been able to increase protein digestibility, protein consumption and protein mass of broiler chicken meat. However, the use of banana peels to a level of 15% does not reduce the utilization of protein so that it can be used up to a mixture of broiler chicken rations. Suggestion from research is that further research needs to be done with a different starter or fermenter. Keywords: Broiler, banana peel, rumen fluid, protein utilization

Abstract

The aim of this research was to know the production performance of Holstein Friesian dairy cow on first lactation based on milk production records and length of lactation. The research was done at PT. Ultra Peternakan Bandung Selatan, West Java. A method of the research used descriptive analysis. Milk production and length lactation period on first lactation were used as production performance variable. The data obtained from 2011-2015 production record of 750 dairy cows on first lactation. Production performance of dairy cows on first lactation were have average daily milk production of 18,94 ± 3,74 Kg, 359,29 ± 81,14 days on length of lactation, 102,19 ± 65,27 days on peak production. The highest daily milk production of dairy cows in the first lactation period was 29,06 Kg, the smallest was 4,76 Kg, the longest length lactation was 872 days and the shortest was 195 days.

Abstract

Budidaya jeruk keprok pada umumnya menggunakan bibit yang berasal dari perbanyakan cara okulasi. Okulasi adalah salahsatu perbanyakan untuk meningkatkan mutu bibit dengan cara mempelkan mata tunas sebagai batang atas pada suatu irisan kulit pohon lain sebagai batang bawah, sehingga tumbuh bersatu menjadi tanaman baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya tumbuh bibit jeruk sistem perbanyakan okulasi pada batang bawah dan mata tempel yang berbeda. Percobaan dilaksanakan mulai Agustus sampai dengan Oktober 2018 di Kecamatan Karangpawitan Kabupaten Garut Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terpisah (Split Plot) dengan 5 ulangan. Petak utama adalah batang bawah (B) yaitu: b1 = RL (Rough Lemon), b2 = JC (Japanese Citroen). Anak petak adalah mata tempel (M) yaitu: m1 = Garut 1, m2 = Terigas, m3 = Madura, m4 = Batu 55, dan m5 = Tejakula. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terjadi interaksi antara perlakuan batang bawah dan mata tempel terhadap daya tumbuh bibit jeruk okulasi, namun secara mandiri terjadi perbedaan yang nyata. Batang bawah JC (Japanese Citroen) berpengaruh terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman pada umur 60 HST dan mata tempel Terigas, Madura, Batu 55, Tejakula berengaruh terbaik terhadap persentase tumbuh. Sedangkan pada parameter lainnya perlakuan batang bawah dan mata tempel tidak berpengaruh nyata.
