Abstract

Abstract—The compressive strength of concrete can be used to increase the strength of steel beams, especially in the positive moment region. From the composite action that occurs it is expected to reduce the size of the steel profile to be used. This thesis compiles a plan using Composite Steel Beams and End Plate Connections, using the SAP2000v23 program for static calculations, and calculation of beam and column dimensions as well as connection and base plate planning. To analyze the dimensions of the required WF Steel Profiles for Columns, Composite Beams, beam-column connections, main beams-joists, and floor slabs. From the analysis results, the dimensions for main beams are WF 400x200x8x13 and WF 450x200x9x14, for joists using WF 300x150x8x13, and for columns using WF 350x350x12x19. The design of the connection on the flanged beams uses an End Plate with a plate thickness of 18 mm and the number of bolts is 8 Ø 24 mm. The connection design for the web beam-column connection uses an End Plate with a thickness of 10 mm and a total of 8 Ø 20 mm bolts. The connection design for the main beam-subbeam and the joist beams uses an angled profile of 80x80x8 and the number of bolts is 4 Ø 22 mm. The required base plate size is 550x550x45mm using 8 Ø 19 mm anchors with a length of 800 mm. Keywords : Steel Structure, Composite, SAP2000v23

Abstract

AbstractThe Creative Stage House for the Marginal is an architectural design which is the result of an architectural design competition for housing. Intended for the marginalized, this house is designed with a behaviorial approach and the Sundanese cultural architecture which is the location of its design research. The purpose of this article is to identify and describe the principles and characteristics of traditional Sundanese architecture that are the background in the design and to understand the principles and characteristics of the application of traditional Sundanese architecture in the design of the Creative Stage House for the Marginal. The research method used is descriptive qualitative which is expected to be able to describe the application of the traditional architectural form of Sundanese culture to the design of the house through literature study. By identifying the visual characteristics of the spatial form of the Creative Stage House for the Marginal, it is known that the architectural design of the Creative Stage House for the Marginal adapts not only the form of Sundanese architecture but the values contained in it such as the concept of dividing the three masses of the house building. The results of this philosophical study found that the composition of the masses, the typology of buildings that adhere to Sundanese cosmology and the shape of the roof that uses the Sundanese Julang Apak architecture hold the hope of increasing the standard of living and self-confidence of the marginalized. Keywords: Philosophy, Sundanese Traditional House, Traditional Architecture

Abstract

Serang City is preparing for the development of infrastructure and road network, so that every area in Serang City can be well integrated. Serang City has 6 sub-districts, including the center of national activities and is a big city because it has a population of around 652,192 people (BPS, 2019). By knowing the growth of the LHRT, the generation and attraction models of movement in the city center, based on the direction of the zone under review, namely north, west, east and south in the internal zone of Serang City and the external zone around Serang City. With the multiple regression analysis method on the generation and attraction models of movement which are analyzed based on socio, economic and demographic variables with dominant factors. The independent variables measured were population (X1), number of health facilities (X2), number of schools (X3), number of workers (X4), GRDP (X5) and the dependent variable is the amount of daily average annual traffic (Y). The results of the equations of motion obtained are 4 generation equations, 4 pull equations and the value of the determinant of each equation.

Abstract

AbstractKertajati Airport in Majalengka, West Java is known to have an attractive architectural design with a characteristic expression of "Merak" which can be seen in several parts of the passenger terminal building, especially recognized on the roof and facade. Based on the publication of PT. West Java International Airport (BIJB) as a Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) responsible for the construction and management of Kertajati Airport, this airport design carries the concept of " Merak " which is referred to as a representation of the local icon of West Java. The purpose of this study is to identify the design ideas that underlie the architectural design concept of the Kertajati Airport terminal building so that the philosophical meaning that is transformed into the architectural form of this airport is the embodiment of the local expression of West Java Province can be confirmed. Through the identification of visual characteristics in several parts of the architecture of the passenger terminal building, it can be concluded that the architectural design of the Kertajati Airport terminal building is more likely to adopt the transformation of the body shape of the Merak bird than the Merak Dance. This can be seen from the results of the identification of the architectural form of the Terminal building on the typology of the building mass, the segmentation of the building, the shape of the roof, the details of the roof, and the part of the facade which are compared with the visual characteristics of the morphological form of the Merak and the visual characteristics of the costumes of the dancers of the Merak Dance. Keywords: Architectural Transformation, Philosophy, Kertajati Airport Terminal, Merak dance
