Authors who intend to submit a manuscript for publication in JPPI obliged to understand correctly the instructions and the ins and outs of the provisions on this journal. For authors who have never published the article on this journal, we recommend reading all of the term and conditions are listed in the journal. Authors are requested to prepare a manuscript in accordance with the Instructions for preparation of manuscript and then to follow the Author Guidelines for submission. Before the manuscript is submitted to the editorial team, please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template. The authors must refer to JPPI for writing format and style (Please download and use as a template for the initial manuscript submission). This will ensure fast processing and publication. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on the guidelines to authors or focus and scope, with great regret will not be processed and automatically rejected. The author who will submit the manuscript after deadline of submission as long as meet the requirement for publication in this journal will be process for next issue. The paper submission and reviewing procedures in JPPI will be processed with the web-based system via the Open Journal System (OJS) by Public Knowledge Project (PKP). We strongly prefer to receive manuscripts via our online submission system. With using our OJS system, authors can upload manuscript files (text, figures, and supplementary information) directly to our office and check on the status of Reviews their manuscripts during the review process.

Abstract

Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT) menjadi sorotan publik sekarang ini karena berakibat timbulnya kesengsaraan atau penderitaan secara fisik, seksual, psikologis yang cenderung dialami oleh wanita. Permasalahan psikologis ini perlu ada penanganan yang lebih serius. Salah satu alternatif psikologis yang dapat dilakukan melalui chronotherapy.  chronotherapy adalah suatu teknik non-obat sederhana yang menggabungkan beberapa metode seperti pemberian cahaya terstruktur dan eksposur gelap, terapi begadang diikuti oleh tidur yang memulihkan, pemberian melatonin dosis sangat rendah, dan pengaturan waktu makan dan olahraga. Artikel ini membahas pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling yang dapat dilakukan oleh konselor untuk membantu korban KDRT melalui chronotherapy. melalui bantuan terapis, Chronotherapy dapat diberikan pada individu korban KDRT sehingga pikiran dan perasaan-perasaan negatif bisa diubah ke arah yang lebih positif.

Abstract

Supposed educators can provide excellent service to consumers, in the academic community of Universitas Negeri Padang. Universitas Negeri Padang comes in at the 61st (sixty-one) out of the 100 (one hundred) best universities in Indonesia. Being one of the best universities in Indonesia’s educators should have excellent service to consumers who in this case are students. However, in fact, many educators still do not have self-awareness (self-awareness) awareness) in providing excellent service to consumers. This is evidenced by the identification of self-awareness conditions of respondents in the high category is still low compared to the medium category. The following report will describe the condition of self-awareness of educators.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low activity and student learning outcomes in  Civic Education  subjects in class 11th social program 2 at Islamic Senior High School Number 2  Bukittinggi. The factors that cause low activity and student learning outcomes such as the lack of opportunities for students to explore potential, low motivation, learning models that are not varied. The purpose of this study was to obtain information on the increase in activity and student learning outcomes through the jigsaw type learning cooperative learning model in class 11th social program 2 at Islamic Senior High School Number 2  Bukittinggi. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of the research was 25 people consisting of 18 female students and 7 male students. Based on the results of the study showed that there was an increase in activity in the first cycle of reading 60%, discussing 64%, listening to 64%, presenting 49.3%, asking 60%, making a summary of 26.67%, working on the test 42.67%. In cycle II I read 86.3%, discussed 86%, listened to 86%, presented 75.67, asked 83.67, made a summary of 68.33% and worked on the test 80%. From the results of the study it can be concluded that Civics learning using the jigsaw type learning cooperative learning model can improve learning activities and student learning outcomes in class 11th social program 2 at Islamic Senior High School Number 2  Bukittinggi.

Abstract

This research begins with the finding that the students of class VII who do not appreciate the various arts presented by class IX on art performances held in school. This can be evidenced by the loneliness of his students watching art performances at school because the majority of VII grade students roam the school. As if not concerned with the various artistry that is displayed. This research uses qualitative method. Application of research informants conducted. Determination of research informants conducted by Purposive sampling. Data were collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques. The technique of guaranteeing the validity of the data guarantees the data of this study using triangulation, Data Analysis model Miles dab Hubberman method using three steps consisting of data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusion. The result of the analysis shows that: the factors that cause the less appreciation of the students of VII and the students of class VII are: (1) the lack of students' understanding of the displayed art, (2) the interesting or unattractive influence of art displayed, (3) puberty, of them come to school just to play around in groups. In the case of the highly needed teacher's ability in the field of art and culture studies to more in depth provide learning to students of class VII and class VIII so they are more appreciative, and can assess every art that is displayed.

Abstract

This research was based on the fact that the activity and learning results of students of grade IX.5 at SMPN 5 Bukittinggi were low. The purpose of this research was to gain information and discuss the improvement of activity and learning results of Social Study by using cooperative model type Numbered Heads Together. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with qualitative approach. There were 2 cycles in this research, each of which consisted of 4 meetings namely planning, application, observing, and reflecting procedures. The subject of this research was the students of grade IX.5 of SMPN 5 Bukittinggi which consisted of 34 students; 15 females and 19 males. The instruments used in this research were test, students’ activity observation sheet, questionnaire, interview, documentations, and field notes. The data was analyzed by using percentage technique. The result of this research showed that the application of Numbered Heads Together could improve the activity and learning result of Social Study of grade IX.5 students of SMPN 5 Bukittinggi.
