The academic anxiety scale is used to measure the academic anxiety condition of students before attending counseling and also after. Student perception questionnaires were used to evaluate the feasibility of the program based on students' perceptions as users. Student academic anxiety data were analyzed through an independent sample t-test assisted by the JASP version 0.13 program. Data about the feasibility of web-based SFBC based on students' perceptions was analyzed descriptively and narrated. The results showed that: 1) the website-based SFBC program was effective in reducing academic anxiety experienced by high school students; 2) the website-based SFBC program has a good level of acceptance and feasibility based on the perceptions of students. The results of this study have implications for the use of website-based counseling methods for students.

Abstract

The cultural context of Lombok, Indonesia, presents a unique backdrop for understanding and assessing self-confidence among students. Against this backdrop, the study aims to develop a self-confidence scale specifically tailored to the cultural nuances and characteristics of the region. The research sample, comprising 244 students selected through incidental sampling techniques, reflects the diverse socio-cultural landscape of Lombok. To ensure the validity and reliability of the developed scale, the study employs rigorous validation and reliability testing methods, including the Pearson Product Moment technique for validity testing and the Alpha Chronbach technique for reliability testing. The research results show that the Suhartiwi Self-Confidence Scale (SSCS) measures student self-confidence in Lombok accurately and reliably. With correlation values from 0.313 to 0.636, all SSCS questions are legitimate. Cronbach's alpha of 0.842 indicates the SSCS's high dependability. Thus, research into culturally appropriate self-confidence scales will ensure fairness and sustainability in Lombok student self-confidence initiatives.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an inventory suitable for counselors to use to measure students' internet addiction. This research method is a development research. The number of samples was 302 students at senior high school Malang City who were selected by using the Random Sampling technique. The inventory was compiled using the Internet addiction Likert scale and the validator test score sheet. Data analysis using Pearson Product Moment to calculate the validity of the item, Alpha Cronbach to calculate the reliability coefficient and factor analysis to determine the adequacy of the sample or the feasibility of all inventory statement items. The results of this development research resulted in an internet addiction inventory consisting of 43 valid statement items and had a high reliability coefficient of 0.933. This internet addiction inventory has 6 correlated factors, according to the internet addiction construct based on Young's theory which underlies the development of inventory. This inventory is needed by counselors to measure internet addiction in students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find a general description of savoring and adversity intelligence in students and to find a correlation between them. Savoring students explain strategies to increase positive experiences in their lives and overcome negative experiences to become positive by appreciating their experiences. This is illustrated by evaluating aspects of anticipating the future, enjoying present experiences, reminiscing about positive experiences in the past. Literature review revealed that the factor of being unable to be grateful and adversity intelligence has an influence on savoring. Adversity intelligence is defined as an individual's ability to face problems and continue to struggle when experiencing difficulties in his life by controlling problems, understanding problems, limiting problems to aspects of life, and considering the problems at hand to be temporary. So that savoring can increase adversity intelligence in addition to increasing happiness in a person. Because with the savoring in a person, the adversity intelligence will increase. The study used a correlational research design with a sample size of 180 students. Data were collected using simple random sampling technique. Instrument using Savoring Beliefs Inventory (SBI) and Adversity Intelligence Scale. The data analysis technique used the Pearson Product Moment (PPM) correlation method to determine the relationship between savoring and adversity intelligence among students. The relationship between savoring and adversity intelligence was found to be positively correlated. All dimensions of savoring and adversity intelligence were found to be positively correlated. Based on the research results, the more students have high savoring, the higher their adversity intelligence.
