Abstract

Investors in the Islamic capital market record growth every year. However, the total sharia investors compared to the total investors as a whole in 2021 is still at 5.5%. Whereas Indonesia has great potential in the Islamic capital market with 86.88% of Indonesian Muslims in 2021. So, this study aims to determine the effect of Islamic financial literacy, income, technology advance and risk perception on investment preferences in the Islamic capital market in millennial generation at Malang. The method to collected the data in this study is through questionnaire distributed by google form. The technique to collected data used in this study is purposive sampling with total of 107 respondents who were born in 1981 – 1996, domiciled in Malang and had invested in the Islamic capital market after March 2020. The data analysis method used was logistic regression analysis using a logistic regression analysis tool with SPSS. The results of this study indicate that Islamic financial literacy, technology advance and risk perception do not have a significant influence on investment preferences in the Islamic capital market, while income has a significant influence on investment preferences in the Islamic capital market.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a dependent relationship between the variables of financial literacy, trust and profit sharing on saving decisions. The number of respondents to the study was 100 traders from the Pasar Besar City of Malang, East Java, using a quantitative methodology. According to the results of research that has been done, there is a positive relationship between financial literacy, trust and profit sharing on saving decisions. . Of all the independent variables, those that have the greatest influence start from the trust variable of 0.630, the profit sharing variable of 0.366, and the financial literacy variable of 0.278. Thus this study suggests that the government and Islamic savings and loan cooperatives can increase socialization regarding the benefits of using savings products, as well as improve the quality and distribution of Islamic savings and loan cooperatives so as to increase public trust and interest in saving.

Abstract

This research is aimed to discover whether or not there is an effect of Halal labels, price perception as well   as income levels on cough medicine consumption. The subject of this research are the 123 residents of Malang city, East Java using quantitative methodology. According to the results of this research, there is a positive relationship in between the effect of Halal label, price perception, plus income levels and cough medicine consumption. Of all independent variables, the one that gives the most significant effect is the presence of Halal labels. With that being said, this research suggests that the government or Islamic religious authorities accelerate Halal certification on cough medicines, as well as medicine manufacturers to increase affordable yet high quality cough medicine productions so that the public can have equal access to the medicine’s benefits Kata Kunci: Halal, Obat Batuk, Harga, Penghasilan

Abstract

The Special Capital Region of Jakarta is one of the twelve provinces that receive the mandate for establishing a waste-powered electric generator (the Intermediate Treatment Facility), which is popular with the name of FPSA, an Indonesian acronym for Intermediary Waste Management Facility. However, since its inauguration in 2018, the development has not taken place until 2022 due to fund shortage. The cause is the high construction cost, in which the budget of IDR 3 trillion is too much for the local budget to cover, making the project stopped. Until 2021, the amount of cash waqf in Indonesia has reached IDR 180 trillion. That sum of money is potential to be used as a funding alternative for the project. This descriptive qualitative research discusses how cash waqf paly its role in supporting the FPSA program using case study approach. The primary data examined here were obtained from interviews. The results show that the potential and the reality of cash waqf can support the FPSA program through small aid scale and that the use of waqf-through-money scheme is more suitable for the construction of FPSA .

Abstract

Perbankan syariah sebagai bagian dari sistem nasional mempunyai peranan penting dalam perekonomian. Terdapat pandangan di mana adanya bunga dalam bank konvensional ini hukumnya haram menurut agama Islam dan dari segi ekonomi juga dinilai tidak menerapkan norma keadilan. Mayoritas masyarakat Indonesia sudah memahami akan keberadaan Bank Syariah, namun terkendala pada pemahaman produk dan persepsi masyarakat yang menilai akad-akad pada bank syariah masih menyulitkan masyarakat. Maka dari itu produk bank syariah hanya digemari oleh sebagian masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh variabel motivasi menghindari riba, persepsi nasabah dan pengetahuan produk terhadap keputusan menjadi nasabah pembiayaan BSI KCP Malang Pasar Besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan 128 sampel dari total 239 populasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitan kuantitatif inferensial. Metode analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa motivasi menghindari riba, persepsi nasabah dan pengetahuan produk secara simultan mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan. Kemudian secara parsial variabel motivasi menghindari riba dan pengetahuan produk mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan menjadi nasabah. Sedangkan variabel persepsi nasabah secara parsial tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keputusan menjadi nasabah.

Abstract

The existence of the COVID-19 virus prompted the government to issue an Emergency Community Activities Restrictions Enforcement (PPKM) policy that aimed to suppress positive cases, yet, on the other hand, detrimental to the community since they could not carry out transactions directly to meet their needs. However, the existence of e-commerce can help people to fulfill their needs by making transactions online. Each individual in the community has different preferences in making purchasing decisions. As Muslims, we are obligated to consume halal products, other than that, product quality and prices can also influence consumer preferences in purchasing decisions. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the influence of halal labels, product quality, and product price perceptions on consumer preferences in purchasing food and beverage products at Shopee.  The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach through logistic regression analysis. The results showed that the variables of halal labels and price perceptions significantly affected consumer preferences in purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the product quality variable has no significant effect on consumer preferences in purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to find out Yusuf Qardhawi's thoughts on the concept of poverty alleviation. The researcher used the library research method in examining Yusuf Qardhawi's thoughts on poverty alleviation through a book written by Yusuf Qardhawi entitled Musykilat al Faqri wa Kaifa Alajaha al Islam which was translated by Syafril Halim along with Yusuf Qardhawi's other books and journals as support. The results of this study indicate that the concept of poverty alleviation put forward by Yusuf Qardhawi is based on Islamic teachings that poverty can be overcome by working, family compensation, zakat and non-zakat assistance with a note that the concept of Islamic teachings is fully implemented.

Abstract

In 2020-2021 poverty continues to increase due to Covid-19, one way to overcome it is for people who can issue zakat and then distribute it to those in need (mustahiq). So that the zakat funds given do not run out quickly, it is in the form of productive zakat. LAZ Solo Peduli is one of the zakat institutions that distribute productive zakat through cash and business support tools through its Economic Empowerment program. The business's success can be seen through the profits it earns because profit is the primary goal of the business. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the business capital, type of business, length of business, and promotion affect the operating profit of the mustahiq fostered by LAZ Solo Peduli. This research uses descriptive quantitative, and the determination of respondents uses saturated sampling, namely all mustahiq recipients of productive zakat are 50 mustahiq. This study uses primary data, namely questionnaires, direct interviews with respondents, and secondary data, namely annual data from LAZ Solo Peduli. The data analysis method is multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed that business capital, length of business, and promotion have a positive and significant effect on mustahiq's operating profit. But the type of business has a negative and significant effect on mustahiq's operating profit. The type of trading business is faster to generate profits. Pada tahun 2020-2021 tingkat kemiskinan terus meningkat salah satu penyebabnya pandemi Covid-19. Salah satu cara penanggulangan kemiskinan yang masyarakat dapat lakukan yaitu dengan berzakat bagi yang mampu. Dana zakat tersebut akan disalurkan kepada yang membutuhkan (mustahiq). Agar dana zakat yang diberikan tidak cepat habis maka disalukan dalam bentuk zakat produktif. Lembaga zakat yang menyalurkan zakat produktif adalah LAZ Solo Peduli melalui program Pemberdayaan Ekonomi. LAZ Solo Peduli memberikan bantuan modal usaha bagi mustahiq dalam bentuk uang tunai dan alat-alat penunjang usaha. Pertumbuhan usaha dapat dilihat melalui laba yang diperoleh dikarenakan laba merupakan tujuan utama seseorang dalam menjalankan suatu usaha. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah modal usaha, jenis usaha, lama usaha, dan promosi berpengaruh terhadap laba usaha mustahiq binaan LAZ Solo Peduli. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif dengan penentuan responden menggunakan sampling jenuh yaitu seluruh mustahiq penerima zakat produktif binaan LAZ Solo Peduli yang berjumlah 50 mustahiq. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh langsung dari responden melalui kuesioner, wawancara, serta data sekunder yaitu laporan tahunan LAZ Solo Peduli. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal usaha,lama usaha, dan promosi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap laba usaha mustahiq. Namun, jenis usaha berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap laba usaha mustahiq, serta jenis usaha dagang lebih cepat menghasilkan laba.

Abstract

Management of waqf assets carried out by professional nazirs following their objectives, functions, and uses can make waqf a potential Islamic institution that is useful in strengthening the people's economy. The role of women in waqf has been seen since the time of the Prophet ﷺ. One of the women who made waqf was Hajjah Aji Putri Nural Ayani who was a descendant of the Gunung Tabur sultanate and donated her inheritance in the form of land to build a mosque. The purpose of writing this research is to find out the practice of waqf by the daughter of the descendants of the Sultanate of Mount Tabur and to find out the role of mosque waqf on Mount Tabur for the Socio-Economy of the community. This study uses a qualitative approach to the historical approach. The results of the research findings obtained that the daughter donated land to build the Al-Hijrah mosque in 1991 and the construction of the mosque was assisted by the Pancasila Muslim Amal Bakti Foundation. This mosque land waqf has a role in the fields of worship, education, social, economic, and political. There are also obstacles and challenges in the form of developing waqf assets, waqf archives, and managing human resources faced in maintaining the land waqf of the Al-Hijrah mosque.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the era of globalization has made Islamic boarding schools experience a paradigm shift from an institution that only focuses on deepening religious knowledge, but also becomes an institution for developing economic potential. One Islamic Boarding School already has a program to expand its economic potential is the Anwarul Huda Malang Islamic Boarding School. This research is here to reveal the extent to which the effectiveness of the students' economic empowerment program, especially the "Laboratorium Bisnis Santri," in fostering the entrepreneurial spirit of students at Pondok Pesantren Anwarul Huda Malang. This study used a mixed method with the CIPP model evaluation approach. Data in the study were collected using questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and observation. Data were analyzed using z-scores and then verified into the Glickman quadrant prototype. The results of this study indicate the effectiveness of the "Laboratorium Bisnis Santri" program at Anwarul Huda Islamic Boarding School Malang is in the Glickman III quadrant with details of the Context variable obtaining a negative frequency (-), a negative frequency Input variable (-), a positive Frequency Process variable (+), and Product variable positive frequency (+). Based on the study results, it can be concluded that the "Laboratorium Bisnis Santri" program is in the less effective category.
