Abstract

This research was conducted at Cileles Public Middle School 3, Lebak Regency in 2019. This research is a type of qualitative research based on data in the field and supporting documents. This study also contains data from interviews with Al-Qur'an reading and writing teachers, documentation and results of observations that the author conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Cileles, Lebak Regency. While the data collection method used in this study are: interview method, observation method and documentation method. Based on the results of the study it can be seen that the efforts made by the teacher in improving the quality of students' reading and writing of the Qur'an are: 1) adding hours of study for 2 hours per week with the Iqro Quran program, 2) using appropriate methods according to the level of student ability including the habituation method (drill), 3) applying appropriate media to learning to read and write the Koran, 4) finding and providing BTA materials and giving homework (PR), and 5) providing learning facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Fiqh is often interpreted as a human effort, which involves a process of reasoning, both at the theoretical and practical levels, in understanding, describing and elaborating religious laws. By calling it humane it is intended to distinguish fiqh from sharia. The latter is loosely understood to refer to the Islamic religion or divine law as contained in the corpus of revelation without involving human hands. In other words, fiqh is a reflection of the Shari'a. Because fiqh grows from the results of istinbath (legal exploration), fatwa and ijtihad, certain tools are needed to regulate the achievement of fiqh products, known as ushul fiqh (legal theory) and qawa'id fiqhiyyah. Social fiqh is also very closely related to human benefit in the framework of maqashid sharia. The purpose of fiqh is not just an individual approach or relationship with Allah, but rather an individual relationship with the surrounding community to establish friendship and build a high sense of humanity and social life. Apart from that, cultivating that character is also the psychological characteristics of morals and manners. The formation of character in Islam can also be called akhlakul karimah, which is where one can control oneself from desires that are positive or vice versa. The purpose of fiqh itself in life is to make Islam khaffah (perfect), as well as a guide in everyday life.

Abstract

Character education is an effort to instill good habits so that students are able to behave and act in accordance with the values ​​of good habits that they apply. Character education is an effort to develop the growth of noble character, thoughts, and growth of children. The age of 7-11 years is a golden age for children to accept rational things that are taught by their parents. At this age, it is the right time to teach commendable character to children, so that later they can be attached to their identity. In practice, character education is applied to children through religious teachings. The characters taught are in accordance with the role model of the Prophet Muhammad. This implementation is carried out at home, at school and in the play environment through religious activities, such as congregational prayers, maghrib recitals, Friday taqwa (JUMTAQ) and so on. Abstract

The background of this research is that there is a lack of instilling students' character values ​​to apply religious behavior in themselves, especially in learning Islamic religious education. With these problems, the authors identify problems in the form of: (1) the level of awareness of students who are still low in implementing religious behavior, (2) the low learning achievement of students in learning Islamic Religious Education, (3) The application of religious character education which is considered not yet implemented effectively, and (4) various problems related to the character of students who are very worried about the community. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, taking the background of Riyadul Mubtadin Mandalawangi Middle School. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study indicate that Islamic Islamic education learning activities in forming the religious character of students there are three stages, namely lesson planning, learning implementation, and evaluation. As for the forms of character that are instilled in students in PAI subjects, namely, religious, disciplined, honest, hard work, tolerance, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, respect for achievement, friendly communication, love peace , fond of reading, environmental care, social care, and responsibility. Where all these character values ​​must be included in every learning process, especially in Islamic Religious Education subjects. As for achieving the inculcation of students' religious character values ​​in learning Islamic religious education, several methods are used in the form of habituation methods, advice methods, giving attention methods, and punishment methods.

Abstract

The learning process of Thoharoh Fiqh is an activity that involves several components, namely educators, students, and other components in the teaching and learning process that influence each other in order to the achievement of predetermined goals is related to important knowledge about the sacred which is a condition for the validity of worship. This study aims to determine the learning process of Thoharoh Fiqh and to know the self-actualization and implementation of students in increasing individual piety at MTs Masyariqul Anwar Caringin through worship practices as a form of individual piety. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were Fiqh teachers and grade VII and VIII MTs Masyariqul Anwar Caringin, while the data in this study were collected through interview, observation, and documentary techniques. The results showed that the Fiqh thoharoh learning process at MTs Masyariqul Anwar Caringin in terms of implementation used the 2013 curriculum, in planning Fiqh teachers also made annual programs, semester programs, syllabus and lesson plans to facilitate the learning process by using methods commonly used at the time of learning, namely the lecture method, demonstration and question and answer. So that the thoharoh practice carried out on MTs Masyariqul Anwar Caringin students is able to practice ablution, tayamum and how to remove najis as a real form of individual piety.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengajarkan sikap jujur yang memiliki implikasi yang signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter dan moral individu di lingkungan pendidikan. Artikel ini membahas hasil positif dari mengedepankan sikap jujur di sekolah, termasuk pembentukan karakter kuat, peningkatan kepercayaan diri, dan hubungan sosial yang baik. Di madrasah, kejujuran dalam bermuamalah dianggap sebagai penerapan prinsip Islam yang mendorong akhlak mulia dan integritas dalam transaksi ekonomi. Metode dengan menggunakan studi kepustakaan (library research) yang dijadikan sebagai acuan dalam menjelaskan focus pembelajaran bersikap jujur dalam bermuamalah di madrasah. Hasil penelitian meliputi langkah-langkah praktis untuk mengintegrasikan sikap jujur dalam pendidikan, seperti pendidikan tentang konsekuensi kebohongan, peran model dari guru, dan diskusi terbuka tentang etika. Langkah-langkah serupa juga relevan dalam konteks madrasah, termasuk penekanan pada nilai-nilai Islam, pengembangan materi kurikulum khusus, dan keterlibatan orang tua. Pentingnya dukungan komprehensif dari berbagai pihak, termasuk sekolah, guru, orang tua, dan masyarakat, untuk memastikan pengajaran sikap jujur dapat diimplementasikan secara efektif. Dengan demikian, siswa akan siap menghadapi berbagai situasi dengan integritas, membangun fondasi kuat bagi karakter yang bertahan dalam lingkungan sekolah dan dalam interaksi ekonomi di madrasah.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the impact of students who are conditionally promoted to the quality of learning at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Huda, Mandalawangi Center. This research was carried out during for one month, starting on 24 July-23 August 2023. This research method uses qualitative methods, including observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of this research, students who are promoted conditionally have an impact on the school, community, environment and especially have a negative impact on themselves. The solution from this research includes several parties, namely: Firstly, parents, parents must pay attention to their children's behavior and care about their children's education. Second, from the school side, the school must provide humanist services so that students are happy at school. If students are happy then the learning process will run conducively and the quality will increase. Not only that, the school also helped improve school discipline and order.

Abstract

This research was carried out during the Field Experience Practice (PPL) activities of the Syekh Manshur Islamic College for the 2023 Academic Year. Starting from July 25 to August 24 2023 at MA Darul Huda, Mandalawangi Center. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, with data collection tools in the form of observation, documentation and interviews. This research aims to analyze teachers' professional abilities in the context of teaching in the classroom, including mastery of material, structure, concepts and scientific thinking patterns, mastery of competency standards and basic competencies, as well as creative development of material. The method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive approach. The research results show that teachers' professional abilities in teaching sociology are not yet ideal. It can be seen from the three aspects of teacher assessment that only one aspect is met, namely material mastery ability, structural ability, conceptual ability and scientific thinking ability. Teachers' ability to master competency standards and basic competencies is not yet optimal. The teacher assesses whether students must master basic competency and ability standards, including cognitive, psychomotor or affective abilities, which have been implemented, but the teacher has not implemented them in the classroom teaching process. The teacher's ability to develop material creatively and innovatively has been implemented but is not yet optimal. This can be seen from the minimal use of teaching methods, learning resources and learning media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze several regulations related to marriage between people of different religions in Indonesia, especially based on the regulations of Marriage Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage, Law No. 23 of 2006 concerning Administration and Supreme Court Circular No. 2 of 2023 concerning instructions for judges in order to adjudicate cases of applications for registration of marriages between people of different religions and beliefs. In addition, it is also to explain how the legal certainty of marriage between people is after the issuance of SEMA Number 2 of 2023. Research methods used by analyzing literature data qualitatively through legal and conceptual approaches on legal certainty of marriage between people of different religions. The results showed that Law No. 1 of 1974 as amended by Law No. 16 of 2019 concerning Marriage does not regulate firmly and clearly about interfaith marriage. Article 2 paragraph 1 of the regulation only states whether or not marriage is valid and not submitted based on the law of their respective religions and beliefs, Article 35 (a) of Law No. 23 of 2006 which is a reference for judges in determining marriage between people of different religions contrary to the marriage law, there is a discrepancy between the two regulations that causes uncertainty in the law of marriage between people of different religions in Indonesia. The issuance of SEMA No. 2 of 2023 provides fresh air in an effort to end the polemic of marriage between interfaith couples in Indonesiaso that there is certainty and similarity in the application of law related to cases of marriage registration applications carried out by couples of different religions, even though the problem of marriage between people of different religions has not ended because article 35 (a) of Law No. 23 of 2006 concerning Administration and its explanation is still valid today.

Abstract

This research took place at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Huda, Mandalawangi Center, regarding facilities constraints in the learning process, as well as the challenges of lack of discipline between teachers and students. This research aims to find out how the discipline exists at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Huda, Mandalawangi Center, and find out all the facilities that support the learning process. This research uses qualitative methods, and the results found from this research are; there is still a lack of discipline between teachers and students, as well as a lack of facilities that support the learning process. The future solution to this problem is to be able to improve discipline in the school again, and also to be able to complete the facilities for the learning process at the school.
