Abstract

Makalah ini merupakan simulasi numerik model epidemik dengan fungsi linier sebagai strategi intervensi menurunkan tingkat endemik terhadap perubahan perilaku dari evolusi penyakit yang lebih sederhana. Untuk memenuhi kekuatan infeksi, model dapat mempunyai kestabilan dari kesetimbangan bebas penyakit dan kestabilan dari kesetimbangan endemik pada waktu yang sama. Jika kita merubah rata-rata recovery, simulasi numerik menunjukkan bahwa batas dari daerah penyakit mengalami perubahan dari separatrix sadel ke limit cycle tidak stabil. Jika pencegahan akibat perubahan perilaku lemah, didapat dua limit cycle dan bifurkasi dari model seperti perubahan pada ukuran populasi untuk menemukan bahwa penyakit mungkin tidak lagi ada meskipun terdapat dua keseimbangan endemik.

Abstract

Global warming, or what has been called the Greenhouse effect, refers to an average increase in the earth\'s temperature, which in turn causes changes in climate. The Greenhouse Effect is the results from a four step process. First, sunlight radiates from the sun, through space to earth\'s atmosphere. Second, the sunlight enters the atmosphere and hits earth. Some of it turns into heat energy in the form of infrared light. The heat is absorbed by surrounding air and land, which in turn makes it warm. Third, infrared rays, which are remitted into the atmosphere, are trapped by greenhouse gases. The gas absorbs the light and is remitted back to the earth\'s surface and warms it even more. Greenhouse gases primarily carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide. Global warming caused by greenhouse effect, feedback effect and solar cycle variations. Global warming causes climate changes and extreme weather events, rising sea levels, increasing of precipitation are likely to have detrimental effects on human health that accompany malnutrition. The objective of this study is to give information about global warming, and how to change people attitude toward environment by conservation, efficiency of energy, reduction of energy, and educational approach.

Abstract

Sulawesi is a priceless island for biology conservation due to the fact that it has high level of endemic. This is not only the proud for Sulawesi, but also the huge responsibility to bear. Sulawesi is supposed to manage it so that it will benefit future life. Yet, the irresponsible deed has ended up in the rapid extinction of flora and fauna in Sulawesi and other islands in Indonesia. Since 1931 the endemic fauna in Sulawesi has been classified into scarce protected fauna. We have no rights to catch, hurt, kill, store, possess, keep, carry, and sell live or dead fauna. Although there have been a lot of activities for preserving the continuity of this wildlife and laws that rule the preservation, but extinction still threatens. Therefore, these laws must be implemented well. Besides, it is necessary to set a sustainable well organized effort that involve government and people in order to keep this wildlife since the variety of flora and fauna is part of our priceless natural resources.

Abstract

Single crystals of (Ph4P)DyCl4(CH3CN) is obtained from the reaction of dysprosium trichloride, DyCl3 with tetra phenyl phosphonium chloride, Ph4PCl in acetonitrile. The crystal structures monoclinic, P21/n Z = 4, a = 997.3(5); b = 1835.8(7); c = 1626.7(5) pm, ? = 104.67(4)o; R1 = 0.0469, wR2 = 0.0971 for I>2?(I)] contain the dimeric anions [Dy2(?2-Cl)2(?1- Cl)6(CH3CN)2]2- and (Ph4P)+ cation in slightly different packing modes.

Abstract

Since the Gorontalo Province was established as stated on the national law number 38 year 2000, the Gorontalo city become a part of the province area and became the capital of the new province. As the capital Gorontalo city, it has a strategic role that makes possible providing opportunity in developing economy, industry and trade, transportation services and other development sector. The growth and the development give positive impact to the development, but negative impact to the people and the natural resources. In the other side, that cause emerging of new environmental problems. The function of productive land as one of the people life resources mostly convert to other function as governmental building, trade building, people residence and other infrastructure. This research was conducted in Gorontalo city on the productive area in the 10 sub-subdistrict of the Kota Utara subdistrict. The physical area mapping used the Gorontalo city land unit map 1999 was compared to utility of the land after 10 years (2009). This research conducted by using descriptive methode. Primary data analisys uses descriptive methode with its results as tables, pictures, photos. The result of this research shows the productive land conversion in Kota Utara subdistrict + 102,178 Ha from field to kinds of industry utility, trading, residences, and public facilities. The reason of land function convertion, based on people perception, is city region government. In for utilizing the productive land, wich is based on the most important economic criteria, welfare, the increasing the city original income and investation . The environmental criteria with local priority, the most contaminated is residence sector, and for the natural resources and land availability are agricultural subsector. The conclusion of this research, that productive land function conversion in Kota Utara subdistrict arrange development area which is not suitable with the aim and the plan that stated on RTRW Gorontalo City 2001-2011. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas ikan koan dalam mengkonsumsi eceng gondok di danau Limboto serta untuk mengetahui pada umur berapa ikan koan efektif dalam mengkonsumsi ikan koan. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan tiga perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah kantong jaringdengan populasi eceng gondok sebanyak 2,5 kg/m2 dan ditebarkan ikan koan umur 5 bulan sebanyak 250 ekor, perlakuan kedua kantong jaring dengan populasi eceng gondok sebanyak 2,5 kg/m2 dan ditebarkan ikan koan umur 1 tahun sebanyak 250 ekor, dan perlakuan ke tiga adalah kantong jaring dengan populasi eceng gondok sebanyak 2,5 kg/m2 yang tidak diberi ikan koan. Parameter yang diamati yaitu perbandingan biomasa eceng gondok sebelum ditebari ikan koan dengan biomasa akhir eceng gondok sebagai indikator efektivitas ikan koan mengkonsumsi eceng gondok. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah, ikan koan efektif mengkonsumsi eceng gondok dan ikan koan yang paling efektif dalam mengkonsumsi eceng gondok adalah uang berumur 1 tahun.

Abstract

Dalam suatu program latihan atau olahraga seringkali dilakukan variasi gerakan yang akan menimbulkan efek fisiologis yang berbeda. Adaptasi tubuh terhadap kondisi fisiologis tersebut akan merangsang terjadinya sejumlah reaksi kimia enzimatis dalam tubuh guna mempertahankan prinsip homeostatis. Selain itu, terjadi oksidasi berbagai sumber makanan dalam rangka menjaga kontinyuitas suplai energi. Penentuan sumber energi yang akan dioksidasi (energy predominant) sangat tergantung dengan kondisi fisiologis tubuh. Dengan demikian terdapat keterkaitan antara variasi gerakan dengan sumber energi yang digunakan untuk melakukan gerakan-gerakan tersebut.

Abstract

The studies have been done about the transformation of safrole into isosafrole. The transformation was done using reagents, namely KOH/n-BuOH and NaOH/CH2OHCH2OH. The purities of all products were tested with thin layer and gas chromatography. Thereafter the structures were identified with infrared spectrophotometers, NMR1H and 13C spectrometry, and mass spectrometry. The isomerization product of safrole into isosafrole with highest percentage yield (75%) was given NaOH/CH2OHCH2OH.
