Abstract

This research is related to the application of interactive quizzes through the Quizzz media in the learning of Maharah Al-Qiroah or reading skill. The purpose of this study is to increase students' understanding of Arabic texts in Al-Qiroah's Maharah learning through the application of interactive quizs with the media quizizz. This study includes classroom action research with two cycles and each cycle is applied to the preliminary stage, planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this study was 41 students of PS 2 at PKPBA (Special Program for Development of Arabic Language) UIN Maliki Malang in 2021. The data was obtained from the observation of the Al-Qiroah Maharah Learning Process, Documentation and Test in the Learning of Al-Qiroah Maharah. The results of this study indicate: (1) Increasing the average value and percentage of student learning completeness in the learning of Al-Qiroah Maharah, there is an increase from cycle I to cycle II, (2) Students have given a positive response to the use of the quiz Interactive Helper Media Quizizz in Learning Al-Qiroah Maharah. Thus, the application of an interactive quiz to the Quizizz media can increase students' understanding of Arabic texts in learning Al-Qiroah Maharah for students.

Abstract

A communicative syllabus is a syllabus that is prepared to emphasize communicative abilities in learning Arabic. This communicative syllabus places more emphasis on learning Arabic as a means of communication rather than mastering Arabic language rules. This research uses a qualitative approach. This approach is used because the data types and data types are in accordance with what is needed. This type of research is a literature review. Based on the findings obtained that the communicative syllabus model can be realized in teaching and learning Arabic, this communicative syllabus places more emphasis on learning Arabic as a communication tool rather than mastering Arabic language rules. The communicative syllabus is more appropriate to apply in classes where students have a target language background who are able to communicate. Meanwhile, for beginner classes, this syllabus is not appropriate to apply because students have not yet mastered the required language components.

Abstract

The lack of speaking skills among students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) level is due to passive and less innovative learning, despite oral expression being a crucial aspect in learning Arabic. Consequently, this article aims to realize the implementation of the Qurrat Al-Kalam strategy to enhance students' speaking skills in Arabic subjects. This research utilizes qualitative methods in the form of literature studies, employing data spanning the last 10 years (2014-2023). Various relevant sources related to the discussion serve as references in this write-up. The data was subsequently analyzed using content analysis techniques. This strategy injects liveliness and dynamism into the classroom environment, presented in a manner resembling a ball game, effectively capturing students' attention and fostering their enthusiasm to achieve academic excellence. By necessitating students to formulate questions and determine answers based on their peers' inquiries, the strategy renders the learning process more active. The use of this strategy not only provides opportunities but also poses challenges for students to enhance their thinking potential and engagement in asking and answering. However, for optimal learning outcomes, it's essential for teachers to master the steps in implementing this strategy.

Abstract

This study examines the use of Arabic Language Learning Method in understanding the yellow book at Santriwati Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School, Campalagian District. This type of research includes Descriptive Qualitative. The data source consists of two, namely Primary and Secondary data. The data obtained through interviews, observations and documentation are then processed through the process of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study show that in increasing knowledge and understanding of the yellow book in Pondok Peasantren applied several methods including the Talaqqi method, the combined method and the discussion method. The factors that become obstacles and supporters in the application of Arabic language learning are internal and external factors. Internal factors include spiritual and physical conditions while external factors include social and nonsocial environments, while supporting factors include teachers, students and curriculum.

Abstract

An important aspect that must be mastered when using language as a means of communication is vocabulary. The vocabulary in Arabic is called mufradat. As a foreign language for Indonesian students, many varied methods are needed to influence students' interest in learning. So that students will feel happy and will not feel bored in learning Arabic mufradat. This research is quasi-experimental. Research data was collected based on the academic results of even and odd semesters. Researchers use pre-test and post-test instruments in every aspect of mufradat assessment. The results of this study concluded that the application of singing methods is effective in mastering Arabic mufradat. Before applying the singing method in odd semesters, the average student test results showed 48.00, while after applying the singing method in even semesters, they reached 89.57. In addition, the N-gain score is included in the high category, which is 0.8138, or 81.38%. This study only focused on improving student learning outcomes based on memorization, pronunciation, and fluency. Then subsequent research can examine other aspects of learning outcomes.
