The GEADIDAKTIKA Journal is a multidisciplinary journal covering all fields of education and science related to geography, demography and the environment. The purpose of writing this journal are to reveal facts, problems and problem solving that can be used as input for Government, institutions, society and individual. The subject matter of the journal includes the following and related issues: 1. Abstract

The aims of this study were: (1) to analyze the initial conditions of learning independence for class X Social Studies at SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta; (2) Familiarize yourself with mobile learning media with padlet applications on the Hydrosphere Dynamics material and its Impact on the Life of Class X Social Sciences at SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta; and (3) Knowing the effectiveness of mobile learning media with padlet applications to increase the independence and learning outcomes of class X Social Studies students at SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta.The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling and independent learning data collection instruments using questionnaires and observation sheets, learning outcomes about pretest and posttest questions, using media validity validation media, material experts, educators, and individual, small group and field trials.The results showed: (1) The level of learning independence of students in class X IPS is classified as medium and low; (2) Mobile learning with the padlet application to increase independence and learning outcomes was declared suitable for use by media experts (got mode 4), and material experts (got mode 5). The feasibility of this media is also supported by the results of individual trials, small group trials and field trials. (3) Mobile learning media with padlet applications is effective for increasing students' independence and geography learning outcomes. The calculation of the effectiveness of mobile learning with the padlet application is calculated using the Paired Sample T-test formula for a significant level of 5% and the result is that the P Value <0.05.. Keywords: Mobile Learning, Padlet, Hydrosphere, Independent Learning, Learning       Outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examines (1) the perception of geoliteracy, (2) the level of spatial ability and (3) the relationship between perceptions of geoliteracy and spatial ability in XI IPS class students at MAN 2 Ngawi. This research was developed by using quantitative descriptive study with saturated sampling survey method. The data collection technique used a geoliteracy perception questionnaire and spatial ability test instruments. Based on the research results, it is known that 90% of students have a good perception and 10% of students have a moderate perception. The results of the spatial ability test showed mixed results, namely 35% of students had high spatial abilities, 41% of students had moderate spatial abilities, and 24% of students had low spatial abilities. In the correlation test, it shows that the calculated r value of 0.136799 < r table is 0.220 with a significance value of 0.05. The conclusion of this study is that there is a weak correlation between the perception of geoliteracy on the spatial abilities of students, so it is necessary to improve the quality of learning so that it can build students' spatial abilities.Keywords: perception of geoliteracy, spatial ability, relationship

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) to determine the dynamics of settlement density in Kartasura District in 2007 - 2017; (2) knowing the dynamics of settlement patterns in Kartasura District in 2007 - 2017; and (3) determine the quality of settlements in Kartasura District in 2017. The research method used a qualitative method, using a spatial (spatial) approach. Data analysis using inductive analysis techniques. The results of the study (1) the level of settlement density in 2007 - 2017 continued to increase, (2) the quality of settlement patterns in 2007 - 2017 continued to decline, and (3) the quality of settlements in Kartasura District in 2017 was dominated by moderate quality but not a few are of poor quality. Keywords : Quality of Settlements, Dynamics, Settlements

Abstract

This research was conducted in Petungkriyono District, Pekalongan Regency in 2019. Petungkriyono District is an area in Pekalongan Regency that is designated as an ecotourism area and protected forest. The purpose of this research is to analyze the level of community participation in the development of ecotourism in Petungkriyono District, Pekalongan Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. The data obtained using the analysis of participation according to Arstein's ladder of participation, then classified into 3 (three) levels of community participation. The results showed the level of community participation in the development of ecotourism in Petungkriyono District, there were 3 (three) levels of participation, namely (1) high level of participation (citizen power); (2) moderate level of participation (tokeism); and a low level of participation (non-participation). Keywords : participation level, ecotourism development
